Friendly, laid back vibe. Well curated selection of a variety of beer. Knowledgeable staff. Nice wine selection as well as ciders. Excellent Belgian beer choices and the tap list always has something really good.

Wonderful experience at this craft beer, wine, and bottle shop. Tamara our bar tender was wonderful. Great rotating selection of drafts, average kick in 1.5 days, and wine on draft and by glass and a well laid out bottle shop shelf selection. Will be returning soon.

How many hops can a Hop Shop hop if a Hop Shop could hop shops? A lot. Hop Shop is the best place in Charlotte for craft beers and wine. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. Very lowkey and dog friendly. You can find me here at least one night out of the week!

My friend and I went here after our pedicure next door. And wow I am so glad we did. The woman working there (I’m sad I didn’t get her name) was amazing! She really knew everything about all the products, super friendly, and made awesome recommendations. She recommended a cider for my husband, off of barely any useful information from me, and it is now his favorite cider. The wine she recommended for me was top notch. If you want to try something new, and like to have local options, this is definitely the place. We can’t wait to come back and try some more of her recommendations.

Really thoughtful beer selection on tap... Lots of high gravity and even mead. Very personal customer service and laid back atmosphere.

This is my favorite place in Charlotte - super relaxed, great living room vibes, feels like your own home. Also - great selection of beers, wines and seltzers. You can’t go wrong. The staff are super friendly and have great recommendations.

Always a wide selection of craft beers from near & far - some you wont find anywhere else in Charlotte. Tables/seating is well spaced if youre hanging out.

Really good selection of beers were here. A lot different from what you would get at other chain grocery stores. The atmosphere inside is chill and its a funky venue. They have beer on draft and super knowledgeable bar staff. A really good local beer shop for a pickup or a hangout.

One of my favorite places to grab a beer. They have a great selection of beers that are not usually offered in Charlotte; plenty more than the typical NoDa brewery IPAs weve all had 100 times. They also have Mead and wine on tap.

I honestly dont remember rating hop shop initially. The first time I went, it was unwelcoming and seemed stiff... but Ive returned 2-3 times to see friends and it was much more enjoyable . The drink selection great too since some people dont drink beer... theres wine, cider and prosecco each day. I also like the indoor porch swings. Nice touch!

Tucked off of Central Ave is this gem of a bottle shop and taproom. The staff is very helpful in walking you through what will tickle your fancy. The beers are tap are interesting and may bring a new style of beer to your radar.Worth checking out while in the area.

Many different types of beer, some I hadnt come across before. Staff was very helpful and kind. They also have couches made into swings!! Super neat vibe.

The most chill place I can think of to drink and awesome beer. The beers arent cheap but its worth it, they always have something tasty that I cant get anywhere else.

I love this place, they have a great selection of beer (and wine although I dont know much about it) and a quiet space to hang out, have a drink or two and enjoy the company. The crew is also nice and knowledgeable so its a guaranteed good time.

The Staff is incredible Awesome and Always willing to help you decide what would best suit your palette for the occasion.. I would highly recommend making this apart of your regular routine and reap the benefits of its character, expertise, and accomodations.. Not to mention the FurBabies weve be so fortuitous to meet..
