Carlos Fernandez in the Kids/Teen Dept. is Super! So professional and attentive. He made sure he followed up with me when my online order did not go through. He called me over the weekend and reassured me that he would get to the bottom of it. He then called during the week but I missed his call. I can’t say enough good things about Lisa and how much she helped me at this store. I previously purchased a couch from a different rooms to go store a few years back, but came to this location looking for a warranty replacement. I did not receive good service at the other location and decided to take my business elsewhere. The service at the independence location was impeccable! Lisa helped me find a new sofa with a chaise that fit my space perfectly, talked me through the color options, warranty process and delivery. She spent almost two days helping me find my fit and wasn’t pushy at all. She could have easily sent me back to the other store or had one of her team members help me, but she took the time to make sure my needs were met. My wife and I did not go for kids furniture - but wanted to find a bedroom suite. Talk about visual overload! There were so many different styles in warm inviting colors and both modern and traditional styles (not knocking the Swedish store - but ultra-modern stainless doesnt do it for me).The store employees are courteous and helpful without being intrusive or obsequious.They are honest about the expense and the delivery times so you are not caught unawares. The employees are willing to discuss the relative merits of each style of furniture you may be considering.

Really nice selection. A bit overwhelming at first but the staff was super helpful and not at all overbearing. Alexis was a rockstar and helped me find something that fit my exact needs and budget. But most importantly, she helped me find stuff that was actually in stock. I’ve been all over CLT the last few days searching for furniture and no one has anything in stock. Anyway, prices are very fair. Plus their protection plan CANNOT be beat. Seriously, the protection plan is very reasonable and covers almost everything. Two thumbs way up.P.s. even though it has “kids” in the name, 90% of the show room is regular furniture. I almost didn’t go to this location because I thought it would just be kids stuff. Glad it wasn’t when I took the chance and actually arrived

Richard helped me order my dining table and made it much easier. I had ordered online but wouldn’t get delivered until Nov. 10th and with him he was able to get manager to override and get it delivered Nov 6th, since it was before 2pm when I made my order!!!

ANGEL IS THE BEST SALES PERSON EVER! My mom and I walked in after moving from out of state. We honestly looked like two homeless people off the street. Every single sales person walked right by us without even saying hello. About 15 minutes in, we walk into the bedroom section and Angel was sitting there with a smile on his face and the nicest hello. Long story short he was kind, patient and just overall amazing! Not to mention got us the best deals possible! We ended up getting furniture there for the whole house all thanks to him!

I was greeted as soon as i walked in and directed to the right place for help choosing. I was taken around the store, the employee even searched online for me, best customer service! I have purchased all of my previous furniture here and will continue to do so!

Jermaine greeted me and got me what I needed. I was in and out within 20 minutes. He gave me good feedback about coverages and color schemes and didnt pressure me into getting any thing other than what I wanted. It was by far my easiest and best experience.

When visiting this store ask for ADRIENE ! My husband and I were shopping for our sons some bunk beds in the childrens area and needed some help with our purchase. After asking another sales associate for help, she felt that her time was better spent helping her 3 customers and basically said if I knew what I wanted to purchase she could then help me. I then replied okay Im interested in purchasing 2 bunk beds and a chair. She quickly changed her attention to helping me after she seen her time wasnt going to be wasted, but at that point, I did tell her to just help her customers and that I would find someone else. Thats when I met ADRIENE ! She redeemed my experience with this store! Attentive patience courteous polite welcoming are just a few words that come to mind in working with her. She wanted to help me and my husband with our purchase needs without even knowing we were going to make a purchase. When I stop in again I will be asking for this lady.

We went on Labor Day to get some furniture. Staff was friendly and informative. They were busy but made sure someone gets to us soon. Will definitely recommend this location. And they seem to be bigger location then the ones I normally go to.

We had a unique experience that could’ve gone either way. We had a couch that ended up being deemed unfixable, so corporate told us to go pick out a new one. We ended up at the Independence store, and while we didn’t initially buy at that location, they took great care in helping us choose our replacement. Our sales person, Adriene, was so helpful and professional. She made us feel like we were a valued customer and not a hinderance to their day. Since we weren’t technically a typical sale, it wouldn’t have surprised us if we’d been somewhat left to our own but the store as a whole took great care and we left feeling excited about our new couch.

Me and my family went into store to look around for furniture Shawn was the first person that came to me and help me with purchase through out the day. Shawn has very good customer service as well as patience.

Very hard store to navigate just random sets in random parts of the store. If your looking for bedroom furniture you have to walk around the entire store. No dedicated sections. Not to mention its currently July and most items arent getting delivered until December and January. The employee who helped us literally told us. Walk around let me know what you like ill be at the front of the store but if you cant wait until atleast December then we cant help you.

We were looking for a new mattress. Richard met with us right away. He was very knowledgeable of the different brands and what would best meet our needs. The whole staff was very friendly and we never felt “pressured” to purchase.

Don’t go here if you aren’t a older white person they won’t even greet you when you walk in. I was in the store for at least 30 minutes with my two children looking for a particular item that I was ready to purchase, about five employees were sitting around doing nothing and I walked by and none of them greeted me, there was another female employee talking with another male employee just laughing and didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked by and then finally when we’re about to leave she wants to acknowledge me. I told her I am no longer interested nor do I need help anymore I would rather go to a different store where I am greeted and welcomed as a customer.

Carlos was so patient while we were looking for a new bedroom set for our toddler! He was super knowledgeable and honest about good options and ways to make it affordable!

Frank was great, unfortunately the quality of our original purchase was not up to par so we ended up getting a different sectional and paid the difference plus purchased the warranty on that too. Another thing was that there was no discount on our purchase because we opted for an upgrade on our sectional to a sleeper. The regular sectional was on the 4th of July sale and had a discount with tables and lamp. I asked Frank if there was anything he could do but unfortunately he said he couldnt even though we had also bought a $2k plus set earlier and have the rooms to go card. So dont expect Rooms to Go to go the extra mile for customer service on that end. Do ask for Frank because he is very helpful and very knowledgeable, a big thumbs up for him. If you can get the warranty because without it if you get a bad quality product, they will exchange it if it can be fixed.

Had some interesting furniture, but its scattered all over the store. They seem to have taken a page out of IKEAS sale strategy, of dragging you through the whole store to see whats available. To old for that trip and dont have time or inclination to trek through their whole store. While we are at it, low quality, bonded leather product, from a previous big purchase, started molting like a dog with the mange. Even the pieces that didnt get much use. Ive found that most of their merchandise lacks quality materials and they arent shy about skipping around those details. Id recommend taking my business and money elsewhere, where they will do more good and get better quality products. The old adage of you get what you pay for, has particular application here. You can do better. Dont recommend this place if you expect your furniture to last more than a couple of years.
