Been shopping here for years. Always a good selection and the service is second to none. The owner is always helpful and runs a first class store. Highly recommend.
I like this store; it is always well stocked. The (female) employees are always in a good mood with a cheerful welcome and goodbye. While stash cheerfulness may not seem important, it is, especially since all liquor stores are sucked and priced similarly. Good customer service stands out.
Cashier was literally so rude. Will never shop here again. Terrible experience ruined my day :(
Seven Star Liquors on James Island is a quality liquor store that seems to be well stocked at all times and offers a great selection of different items. The prices and values here are good compared to some nearby stores. I have found exactly what I was looking for each time I have been here and have been able to get in and out quickly. This store works well and is at a good location.
Whenever Im in the area I swing by this liquor store. They seem to have everything in stock and exactly what I need when I want it. The older gentleman who is he cashier has been friendly to me on every visit so no complaints there. Nice little store tucked away.
Good place. Fair prices!
Knowledgable owner seems committed to carrying not only the reliable standards but also new items to allow customers to broaden their tastes & experience. Great prices, friendly service, always find something interesting here.
Nice store, great staff!
Greta staff .Nice folks. They have a nice selection . Just liqueur .
This store overcharges on every thing from 70-100% over cost. This store simply price gouges people who enjoy good bourbon and is a horrible business model. The man who runs this store Charlie, has openly stated that he will charge whatever he wants because he “can”. He literally has zero respect for his customers and price gouges whoever he can because its “Charleston” and “why not”. For instance a bottle of eagle rare retails for 26-35$ he charges 60$, buffalo trace sells for 23$, he sells it for 48$ etc. I have been going to his store for over 2 years but ever since our last conversation and his disrespectful attitude I will not be back. I recommend Burris Liquor store downtown, they have much better deals and competitive prices in the area. I spend several hundred dollars a month in bourbon, I collect as well as drink on occasion. I am not a big fan of liquor store owners who genuinely try to rip people off. You can also buy a lot of the bourbon he sells at his own store on a secondary market for cheaper. This guy and his store are a joke, plain and simple. To your response. First and foremost I have been visiting your store for 2 years. I have come in your store 20+ times this year (2018) and have spent $50-80$ at least 15 times in your store. How much money does one have to spend in your store to become a regular? How many times a week does one have to come, obviously my 2-3 visits in a month does not give me enough clout within you, obviously me spending close to $1000 a year in your store is not good enough. The reason I do not purchase more bourbon from your store is very simple. You overcharge for it. I am not going to continuously overpay for bourbon that can be bought elsewhere at reasonable prices. What truly is entitlement is when someone especially a business thinks they are above reproach. I have already made a choice to not come back to your store as I will encourage other to do. Secondly, you know nothing of my character and I am far from entitled and spoiled in my taste for bourbon or life, my inquiries to particular bourbons in your store were not to Old Fitzgerald but eagle rare itself. You were openly arrogant and rude. From a customer standpoint that is not appropriate. I am a big proponent of capitalism and small business. However, regardless of LLC/ corporation size it is unreasonable to price gouge your customers. I never requested special bourbons or high end bourbons. You overcharge for 1792, buffalo trace, eagle rare, EHT Taylor, knob creek single barrel and small batch, these are not even high end bourbons and can be found in almost every liquor store in America. It is simply ridiculous. There are 3 other stores near your location that sell all of these products cheaper than you. By the way, everyone has what I am looking for. If you charged less I would have bought more I will gladly pay .50 cents more for Jefferson’s reserve to not be in your presence.
Bourbon Hunters: don’t bother. I can appreciate that they keep their allocation bourbon for locals, but the worker bragging about it being in the back and “not for sale” definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Charlie Aimar has the best selection in Charleston. Always enjoy visiting with him as well.
Nice and courteous people working there 😁
Not a very good experience
Owner is not a good person.
Best prices on James Island
Friendly helpful staff.
Moved here from Northeast Ohio, been in the store a couple of times hoping this guy will run some sort of sale. Thought Charleston would be cheaper than Ohio for bourbon. Shame prices are too high and I live down the road. Won’t be back.
A little over priced but convenient
Best in town
Great prices
