Very cool spot with some great whiskys, olive oils, and vinegars all available to taste before buying. Staff is very knowledgeable, too.

Vom Fass on King Street in Charleston is a unique store and shopping experience that is cool to see and be a part of. I like all of the options that they have available to taste and sample and have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made here. This is a fun place to visit and shop at and is well worth a visit.

Michael & Andrew were so helpful! I don’t mind spending money when I can get educated on an item I’m purchasing. I walked away with a couple hundred dollars between my hubby & me. WORTH IT! These two fellas know what they are talking about and will take amazing care of you. Highly recommend!

Really great. Dennis gave us a quick briefing on the spirits, and helped us taste test some as well as their Bourbon barrel aged syrup (which is amazing). They have two sections. One side is spirits. The other is food, oils, and wine. Highly recommend you duck in here and check it out.

Be careful here. We spent $66 on two 250ml bottles and one 100ml bottle. Was told the prices were on the bottle. Thats not for the oil, just the bottles. We would appreciate transparency in the pricing.

This store is great! Its listed as an oil store but while that is great, the real Joy is in their selections of different and unique Scotchs. Guys who work their are awesome and passionate about what they do.

Nice place for spirits. Got a bottle of whiskey not sold anywhere else in the US. Had free tastings of 4 different spirits. The guys were super nice and knew a lot about the different liquors. Would definitely recommend.

Super friendly staff who can inform you about whiskeys and bourbons and where they come from and how theyre produced. I got a gift for my Father-in-Law of a few options in nice, squat bottles for a few servings of each. Only downside is the corporate branding which makes it look like a water filtration company or something.

Very knowledgeable of the background for all liquors, wine, vinegars, and oils. Gave me a sample taste to ensure I was going to like the selection I made. Great staff great place and great scotch’s and whiskeys.

Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable!! Im not a huge bourbon drinker, but my father is, and she was able to answer every question O threw at her! I feel bad I forgot her name, but I was there 2/01 around 2:30pm. Definitely bringing my friends and parents here for some quality oils and alcohol!

This place is so worth the travel! Excellent selections, customer service, and surprises! Items I never knew I couldnt live without are now in my new home! I just wished these guys had a place closer to Asheville!

Having been in the Whisky business for a number of years and new to Charleston, I was told by friends this was the place to go unfortunately it was the worst experience I have had in 34 years. The gentleman I met was both rude and exceptionally arrogant. I will never be back and nor will I recommend any of my clients to frequent this establishment.

Teriffic little shop filled with cullinary goodies. Great selection of curated wine and spirits as well. Dennis is very friendly and knowledgeable.

A very interesting store, great help. Everything from cooking oils and seasonings, to whisky and champagne. On tbe expensive side though.

Oh yeah! This place is it. If you have any intrest in craft liquors, you have to check this place out. Pick up some real-deal absinthe for me while youre there. A couple shots mixed well into a pint of Haagen Dazs ice cream is amazing.

I wish I could give this business zero stars. They were completely disrespectful to me. They do not verbally state or post written information that all sales are final. When I inquired about a return the owner/manager rudely informed me that I should know the law. I was surprised by this since Charleston is a large tourist city. They also offered to box up my liqour and recommended I mail it back home. I explained that I did not feel comfortable doing something illegal and their associate shrugged and stated well thats what everyone does. Its a shame that the have to resort to such shady business practices to sell their liqour. It was also so upsetting to have a business owner intimate me and be so rude. Its a shame in the year 2017 that I felt I needed my husband to protect me while shopping in a store. I definitely would not recommend this shop during your trip to Charleston.

I thought I knew a lot about Irish whisky. They proved me wrong but in a good way and hooked me up with some of the best Irish whiskey Ive ever had.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff!

They gang up and harass you into buying stuff. They give you on price and your wife another. Make sure your the one paying for whatever you buy so you can keep the liars straight. Oh, once you buy all sales are final!!!
