Was backing out of the parking lot and an employee slapped my car with his hand. I was extremely startled, assuming I’d hit something, and looked to see him laughing. I do not know this person and felt extremely unsafe. Will not be back.

I am always happy with Gateway. They have a good selection of craft beers. Unless you want something really unique, you can get a good beer or wine here without the trip to Chambana. If youre not into that, they have the basics. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

Great place in town for a wide selection of beer and wine. The owner is always going for local and distant craft brews so their stock has a great variety.

They just canceled on our daughters wedding at the last minute 😡 We have been told that they were doing it all along but now they can’t.......not a good way to run a business!

Friendly staff has a drive-thru but most of their alcohol is a little high. They do have a good selection youll just have to pay an extra dollar or two for it.

For a small town liquor store, they have a solid collection of craft brew. They carry some St. Louis beers (Perennial, some 4 Hands selections) I cant get in Champaign. I always look forward to a trip home just see what is new on their shelves.

For beer this place is a little gem. I found 3 Fonteinen Olde Gueze for a fair price. Also got a bunch of goose island Bourbon County and their selection had all sorts of other interesting things. Good prices for specialty stuff and excellent selection for the area. Plus friendly staff
