I prefer this store because it is close to home and I want to support local businesses. However, 8 of 9 visits they did not have what I needed. Recently I was after a small paint touch up kit, those ones that pack a small roller and pan in one package, a short connector hose ie one of those 3 foot hoses used to connect an hose reel- really basic hardware store stuff. Nope. None of those on the shelves. But they got all the Christmas stuff! So, off to the big box store, miles away.

Everyone here is always extremely helpful. I work near this location and have to use them all the time. Theyre not as stocked as the big box store like Lowes or Home Depot, and the prices are a few cents higher. But I always go to them when I need something fast and its not worth the gas or time to drive several miles to a larger store.

It only takes one person to ruin your experience. Today and older taller employee was rude and very unhelpful. Was impressed by the GM Doug previously and liked the place with prior business. However, will never use them again. The overall attitude from that one person alone was enough for me to find an alternative place to shop regardless of my needs.

Great selection. And always a specialty item you wont find elsewhere.

This place is a joke. I have been there three different times. The first two times I called ahead asking for a part. When O got there the same guy said sorry we don’t carry that. I confronted him and he brushed it off.I drive up here for the 3rd time and they have a dig. On the door saying closed early due to COVID.cleaning. You have all night to clean. Why close the store early.You have been warned. Drive the extra few miles to Lowe’s or Home Depot!!!

This is one of the best aces Ive ever been to! The owner is great hes informative hes helpful and hes pretty funny! A real joy to come into the store

Fantastic! I came in with a list and I was able to get everything on the list. In addition I received personal service. The sales person walked with me all through the store helping me find each item. I will definitely be a return customer!

Nice selection but not to knowledgeable staff. Usually these smaller hardware stores have more helpful people versus the big box stores. This was not the case on my visit. Also, I should have looked at my receipt. I was charged for something completely wrong at probably triple the cost. Not enough to drive back.

Glad they are here for the convenience of hardware and things that are needed off of Clements Ferry Road but some of the staff there are anti Trump and you can feel it when you walk in the door with your Trump hat or shirt on they treat you very rudely dont hardly speak to you dirty looks they give you best president in our lifetime economy jobs you name it. Mark is great we still have the snow flake liberals that work in these places people should do a better job of screening their hires

Love love love the new Ace hardware! The absolute best for paint, Clark and Kensington is awesome and now they carry Benjamin Moore. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. Ace is the place!

Very poor customer service. I purchased a $200 Milwaukee drill and batteries won’t charge. Never used the drill. They had no interest in attempting to assist. Gave me the phone number to Milwaukee. Too bad because it’s a nice store and close to my house. Never returning.

Wow is this one of the nicest hardware stores Ive ever been in! I always prefer Ace to the big box stores, but this one is very large and well put together. It doesnt hurt that its also brand new, too! Keep it up!

I’ve been trying to visit this store since hearing it opened. My family and I live on Daniel Island so it’s very convenient should I need anything for the house. Well the other day, I needed some fasteners to fix a fence. Stopped in and found everything I needed and then some :). All the aisles were clearly marked and all the employees were friendly.

For such a small place they have everything Im looking for! Great people, great location!

Very understocked store, geared more towards gardening and such. Been there twice, once for grease and once for hydraulic oil. They didnt have either one.

Glad to have a hardware store on CFR. Staff still learning the store and the owner is still trying to figure out the right stuff to stock. Would likely do well if this location stocked some simple fishing tackle maybe even fresh bait?

The staff is friendly and tries hard but unfortunately not very knowledgeable. I have been there several times and each time they don’t know what I’m looking for even though they do have it in stock. I’m sure over tike they will improve and this won’t stop me from going back.

Growing up Ace Hardware was the only place you could buy building materials and we loved going there. As the years passed on Ace was kinda left behind becuase the stores all began feeling tired and forgotten. It appears they figured this out because the stores have received a much needed facelift. Nice stores with everything you need and unlike Lowes or Home Depot the employees here are glad to help and not hard to find
