For anyone who is discriminating regarding lumber, Southern Lumber & Millwork Corp. is the place to go. They have the best prices, the best lumber and the best employees you will ever find anywhere. When I am choosing the wood I want in the storerooms, I am met with the most helpful, courteous people one could find. As a female, I know I am safe perusing their massive stock of lumber and moldings. It doesnt matter if I am purchasing a few lengths of oak shoe molding or many feet of lumber, I am always made to feel that my purchase is important. I sincerely hope that Southern Lumber remains a viable business forever. I truly dont know what I would do without them!

I had the pleasure of shopping at Southern Lumber today for some hardwood lumber. The service and attention that was afforded me was absolutely top notch. My purchase was not of any significant value but you would have thought I was purchasing the company. There was no less than 6 employees that a hand in my purchase. I will definitely shop with then again and highly recommend them to anyone purchasing building materials.

Double Front Door Disaster! We renovated the outside of our home recently and also decided to install a Mahogany Front Door. Southern lumber showed up and measured and twelve weeks later a door appeared that was almost a foot too wide. A new door was ordered, the opening was measured again followed by another 10 week wait. New door is in the house for eight weeks now, on one door the wood has already bent. The doors are a bit too short forcing us to install rubber fittings at the bottom and they are also a little bit to narrow making the middle gap between the doors too wide. The latch is barely catching.Try to avoid them if they have to actually have to make something for you!

It was a good trip. They help you roll your tarps up. Good peoples.

Great company carrying only quality lumber supplies. Friendly and locally owned! More for the contractor but great for a DIY looking for the right materials and expertise!

I ordered custom milled 2x6’s. Communication with Bob was fantastic, delivery was on time and the lumber came out perfect.

Went in person to see chris priester. He asked me to text info to him. I did immediately and got no response. I called to followup and left a msg. He NEVER responded! The best part that I wanted to share is you can call anderson windows directly and get what you want!!!

I am an ex employee I stopped by today to drop of a trim book and was told by AJ the customer service manager that I had to leave because I was saying hello to old co workers cant downvote the business for a bad employee like AJ

Have what others dont. But they charge heavily for that. If you cant find it they can make it.
