Really really great grocery store. They have good prices, more local food than anywhere else, excellent beer and wine selection, spice bazaar, tons of small restaurants, really good cakes, great produce and meat sections, and tons of things coming to store brand which tends to be very high quality and good price

Lowes Foods West Ashley is wonderful. I have been using their carside to-go grocery pickup for almost a year now. The staff are always helpful and kind, efficient and reliable. Now that the store interior has been updated the coffee bar is amazing and I can always find what Im looking for and more while shopping.

Pretentious? Yeah, but Bi-Lo seriously needed a facelift. Too bad theres the price lift to go with it. However, their cookies, although expensive, are freaking delicious!!

Had my doubts about this place during the change from BiLo to Lowes but they managed to pull it off and now its one of my fave stores to go to. The specialty sections alone are enough to draw one in. Smoked meats and fish basically on demand? Uh, yes please! Good beer and wine selection too!

The sausage guy Kenneth is an absolute delight to talk to and a wealth of knowledge! Perfect sausage and a value to your company and five stars for him!! Not impressed with the management.

This is my first time shopping at a Lowes (Tuesday 6/8/2021) and I have to admit I was impressed enough to leave a review. Freshest produce Ive ever had was in this store. I bought a sampling of everything from the produce section and especially loved the tomato bar where you grab loose tomatoes of different varieties and make your own box. The iceberg lettuce was thick with no brown spots, the romaine head was equally enormous, the celery was big and fresh, every single piece of produce I bought was in top condition. Hot food bar was great and all the employees were very nice and helpful, best grocery store in the area by far!

Way overpriced on pretty much everything I looked at, but I did buy butter and eggs at reasonable prices. The prepackaged store olives arent very good and I wouldnt have bought them if I had a chance to try them first. I walked away from the too expensive bacon, and 99 cent bottle of seltzer. Even with the $10 off a $50 purchase I didnt find it worth shopping there, but I have Harris Teeter and Publix much closer to my house anyway.There is a large SUV on a jack taking a prime parking spot in the lot. Why?

As a Dasher easy to find everything. Store is laid out nicely. Employees are helpful.

A fairly new grocery store so not use to the organization or layout. A nice clean store. All the staff was helpful and courteous.

Hands down, the best bakery items around, including the items on the day old rack. And 2 words about the house brand bacon, De Lish. Doesnt shrink, cooks evenly and IMO, is better than the national brands.

Walked in today, had a back of house guy help me find something, got to the front and was hit with some rudeness, left my items on the counter and went to food lion. Their shelves are at least stocked and they have nice employees. Go back to where u came from Lowes.... Bilo was 16 times better.Dont even stop.EDITTTTTNow that the remodel is done . I love it. Great soda sales. U can get beer or wine baby the glass as you shop around. Great staff too. Beautiful. Good layout

Im loving having a Lowes foods nearby. There were a few where I used to live, and theyre a great store. Im hoping this location will open a coffee shop inside like the others have because their coffee is fantastic. Great selection, similar to Harris Teeter. I do miss Bi-Lo but I wouldnt want any other grocery store to replace it besides Lowes. Really a fantastic switch.EDIT: they did put in the coffee bar along with the many other amenities! So exciting. Lowes will probably be my new coffee spot.The people who work at the coffee bar are the best and always make the most delicious drinks! They have a lot of flavors and the price is 2-3 dollars cheaper than other coffee shops.I think the bad reviews are unwarranted and a lot likely came from the transition period where the store was disorganized. Give it a try.

Lowes Foods on Bees Ferry Road in West Ashley is a great place for groceries that seems to have everything all in one place. I really like the different sections that they have and can find exactly what I am looking for very easily. This location seems to get better each time I come here. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you get all of the help you need. I like shopping here.

We are now buying 95% of our groceries here.... Much better Prices than Whole foods and Earthfare and Great Variety with the Best BOGO Sale prices!! And Harris Teeter is hard getting in and out and we are not fond of lots of food from China... REALLY!! Cant wait to see the BAR & KITCHEN they are in the process of building thats what is behind the Draped Areas. Give them a visit like we did you will be glad you did!!

Store has been a construction zone for months with very little and many times no meat, fruits, or vegetables on the shelves. Which I get it, it is annoying but you still have to run a business. However, to come in today less than a week after the Grand Opening and have No meat, No hot items, No deli, and very little vegetables and fruits is not acceptable. Close the store and fix the issues. Stop disrespecting peoples time by having a open sign and not having the store stocked.

Love their bakery. They have a coffee & wine bar. The employees couldnt be nicer.

Nice and clean. The chicken station is delicious. The bakery is also on point! The butcher department is the best. I shop their sales often for the best value. They do a fantastic job with their displays. Very inviting! Cant wait for salad bar and beer den!

Really sad that this is no longer a Bi-Lo change. The store is under construction which makes it hard to find things. The Pharmacy staff is no longer there and that is sad because they really cared about their customers but that is no longer the case.

In remodeling stage right now. Prices ok. Staff friendly and know where product is placed. The new store will be amazing. Staff said mid August.

Unfortunately you can’t find anything & the staff doesn’t know either. Tonight at 8:30 I went to buy bacon for breakfast & the employee working on straightening the cold case smelled so bad! I mean really bad. He flat out stunk. Further the during same trip & I am leaving & in the parking lot. The young man getting the carts deliberated knocked the carts over & dragged them thru the parking lot.

I have been grocery shopping exclusively online since last March at other stores. But once I learned that Bees Ferry Lowes was offering curbside pickup I gave you a try. I cannot say enough nice things about the employees who’ve handled my orders - everyone is extremely considerate and helpful. Even our dog is delighted by your complimentary dog treats. I look forward to when I’m vaccinated and can do my own shopping but, until then, you’re my go-to, online store! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Love the sales that is provided weekly. All the employees are wonderful very friendly and very helpful. Problem areas is the ladies restroom the handicapped toilet is in the regular stall and one of the sinks do not work. Live the fresh flowers inside on the counter nice touch. The hot bar food should always look appealing to the eyes. It always looks dried out and not something you would want to buy.

I know theyre still in the transition phase from the old BiLo to the new Lowes Foods. But theyre nearly done, and just dont carry the basics. 2 examples: basic spray air freshener, there were only two to chose from and paper lunch/dinner napkins, again only 2 versions of the identical item. Other stores carry lots of choices. Like shopping at a Mini-Mart. I hope this is temporary!

Prices are way high even on the good things that household needs

If you are not familiar with Lowes Food stores you may be surprised by the prices. They are a bit more expensive than other grocers. The stores are nicely set up and the food is a little fancier than other grocers as well, which makes for a fun shopping experience. What scares me about this location is that it has a LOT of same poor traits that BiLo had....like food being expired. I blamed BiLo on poor management, and unfortunately the management has stayed the same. I was so excited when BiLo closed....never thinking Lowes would take over and keep a manager who couldnt control the quality of food being sold. From expired dairy items, to under-cooked prepared food....BiLo wasnt a place I could trust...and now Im a little skeptical about Lowes as we have already had a handful of bad experiences with expired/bad food. I still go down the road to Harris Teeter where I can trust the quality of food I purchase. Sorry Lowes, but until you get a better grip on quality control, I cant make you my grocery store of choice.UPDATE:On a recent trip to this store, I was able to meet some of the regional store managers who happened to be here. They were very nice, very helpful and very concerned and understanding. I think they are going to make some very positive changes in the store. Therefore I am upgrading my review to four stars!! Don’t let down, Lowe’s!

Enjoyed my general shopping experience as this was the first time I had been in a Lowes store. But the store was apparently in a transition and had a bit of disarray in some areas. The cashier was really friendly but the bagger seemed to struggle loading groceries. Overall I would be willing to try the store again once it gets settled.

I am really disappointed, I thought I was getting something better from BiLio Guess what BiLo gave me great leg of lamb, which from r some reason I cannot buy. from LOWES FOODS. Why would you not sell lamb at Easter?Pizza sauce in the bread aisle instead of pasta & sauce aisle, why?If this is an example of Lowe’s it sucks...

We are thrilled with the addition of Lowes Foods at Bees Ferry Crossing shopping center and cant wait until 2021 when its completely remodeled and takes on all of the attributes of a true Lowes Foods store. Its a great addition to the west Ashley area and the Bees Ferry Crossing location could not be more perfect. I am really enjoying shopping here and cant wait for all of the huge upcoming improvements and additions.

They’ll be completely renovating the store after the holidays to transform it into a full-scale Lowes Foods in 2021. The changes made so far in 2020 have only been minimal so that they could keep the store up and running through the holidays without having to close. The major interior/exterior remodeling/renovations to turn it into a “real” Lowes Foods will take place in early 2021.

I miss BiLo because the staff was more friendly. This store location is a neighborhood place to shop. I know it would take time to get to know the new employees, but so far I havent seen any of the staff attempting to be friendly or helpful. I asked a question of an employee. He kept moving toward as I kept backing away trying to social distance. Finally I had to tell him to stop advancing.

I went shopping at the new Lowes food that replaced Bi-Lo.The employees and myself tried to get my credit card (with a bad chip) to work, for quite a while.. too long actually. They finally had to ask the store manager. I guess that he decided, in all his wisdom, that he was the only one that needed to know that you cant use a card at store if chip isnt working. The employees working the register etc., worked hard at an impossible job, although this information would have been useful. He couldnt have cared less. What a great first impression.

Great location close to the highway. It is not close to the interstate access area. There are also many other types of stores and businesses located in and around the area.

Google calls 3 stars as Its okayNothing wrong per se, but nothing spectacular either. Good prices on canned goods and dry items, but thought the meat and deli department was higher than competitors.Staff was friendly, but I am just not a fan of having to bag my own groceries, especially as another employee literally watches.Store was clean, and I did like to clearance isles.

I bought Lowe’s crostini 2 days ago, I opened it & it was not toasted enough I had take all crostini out & re toast it in oven so it would be edible. Bakery department needs to make sure item is done before boxing. I bought same item prior & there was no problem it was crisp & crunchy not wet & chewy.

Great selection and already much better organized than what was here previously. If you’re complaining about the prices, then you need to check out Whole Foods or Earth Fare. Prices are obviously going to be more in line with Harris Teeter or Publix than Food Lion or bilo. Looking forward to the remodel in early 2021!

Employees were very helpful. I realize this store is still in transition, but had hoped for the variety in the Summerville Lowes. I will check it out again in a few weeks. Meanwhile, back to Publix.

My first time in there since it was a BiLo, it would be nice for it to be like the Summerville location, with the brewskis to drink while shopping, that would definitely boost you to 5 stars.

The prices in this whole complex really are too high considering the whole parking lot, is a junk yard. I go here often but everyday theres a new vehicle thats been left, a truck trailer, or a Cadence Academy bus they dont have room for so store here. If you want to store your car for free or your commercial vehicle, this is the place. The parking lot is basically an overflow, junkyard.

The prices are extremely high compared to the other local grocery stores such as Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Bi-Lo, etc. Stores like this discourages the less fortunate to shop there. Will never step foot in there again and will encourage my follwers to do the same as well.
