Wear good shoes when walking Charleston! Your feet will thank you. Went here to get my wife some shoes for walking, socks and needed a bag to carry water bottles in as well. The lady at the register went above and beyond! I cant not think of her name. I am not good with names. But I remember her talking about her daughter getting ready to turn 4 and Barbie Castles. Anyway, I didnt see any bags in the store but she went all the way to the back got out a couple of choices for me. Its just nice to have someone do that! No one seems to anymore.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced over the phone.!!! I called to see if they had a certain size of a shoe I wanted. The gentleman who initially answered the phone was nice and went to go check for me. Another employee, Dianne, got on the phone. I repeated my reason for calling. She came back and said they had a totally different brand of shoe in the size I was requesting. I told her I was not interested in that shoe, only the one I was calling to inquire about. She got very short with me over the phone and said “we don’t carry these shoes here”. I told her that the other rack rooms had the shoe just not in the size I wanted. Before I could finish speaking she loudly spoke over me and said that their store was small and didn’t carry them and did NOT have the shoe I wanted at the King St store. I went online, ordered them for in-store pick up at the exact location I was calling and then went to pick my shoes up an hour later. I did not see Dianne, which is good for me and even better for her. I will be following up with Corporate. Either do your job or keep your sour and unpleasant attitude to yourself. I will never patronize this location again. Thanks Dianne!!

Rack Room Shoes on King Street in Charleston is a great place to get good quality shoes at a low price and find values and good deals. I really like the brands they carry at this location as there are some brands here that are not carried at some other locations like Cole Haan and other brands that I look for. There can be some really goods sales here and along with there running promotions of bogoho or buy one get one half off and a coupon can come up to some big savings as I am always looking for more than one pair of shoes and may get a more business shoe combined with another pair of more casual shoes. They always seem to have the bigger shoe sizes here which is not always the case in other stores. Overall this is a really good show store and I always walk out happy and satisfied.
