Despite the fact that my daughters SUV was purchased with no expectation of a warranty, John fixed an AC issue that popped up within a month of buying it.Not your typical car lot. Was told For something like this Id need like $1,000 down for a $2650 vehicle. When I replied with Okay, I have the $1000 and I would even be willing to make large payments to knock it out quick + I have a trade-in . I was told that I seemed unstable because I didnt have mail in my name because I lived with roommates who had utilities in their name? I told him I have had my job for 3 years and my expenses were low, hence why I was willing to make absurdly large payments for $1650 financing. They could have charged me like 25% interest and I would have agreed. He literally said Ill pass. Didnt run my credit to see what kind of rates he could get.....didnt say well come down and lets see what your trade-in looks like...nothing. Seems pretty unprofessional and definitely left me feeling salty about this car lot. Regardless of what you think the situation will be, You shouldnt alienate customers by insinuating that they seem unstable or high-risk, you should try and work with them until you cant.Edit:To the owner who replied: You either misunderstood what I said, or you are saving face. I told you I had a stable residence for a year, and one for 7 years before that, and I literally JUST MOVED THIS MONTH. Every other dealer had no problem with a copy of the lease agreement of my current residence with a written and signed letter from someone on the agreement stating that I lived there from that date onward. You just didnt want to put in the effort.

I had been looking for a 1995+ Honda Del Sol locally, but could not find one in the condition I was looking for. However, I was able to find out of state (in this case AZ) that had just been listed a few days prior to me finding it.It was a 1996 Del Sol and had very low mileage for its age. I contacted Pete at Horizon Auto in regards to it. We struck a deal and he was very helpful and getting everything filled out and completed even though I was out-of-state. After everything was finalized, he ensured the vehicle was ready when the transport I had hired arrived there. Unfortunately, since the car was only listed shortly before I found it, there were not many pictures. However, when it arrived, the car was in much better condition than I had been expecting (purchased sight unseen and all that). Pete followed up with me to make sure I was enjoying the car, and I am for sure.I appreciate the service and the help Pete! Cant wait to bring out the potential in this car!

Over the years Ive purchased at least 4 cars from Horizon Auto. Ive never purchased a new vehicl.Horizons vehicles have always been in the price range that I needed. Never a problem. If there was, John and Pete would take care of it. I just purchased an 07 Toyota Camry and I believe it will be one that I will have for quite a while. Great used cars. Remember they are used so none of them are perfect they all need a little something. They have many Carfax verified one owner vehicles which is shocking as most of the cars on the lot are 10ish years old. Payments and down payments are flexible. John & Pete are both nice and great to work with. They DO NOT have all of the typical dealer mark ups .

I personally have not bought a vehicle from Horizon Auto Sales, however, several customers ( more than 10), and one of my employees have bought cars or trucks from Pete and John. There have been no unusual problems, but they get it that they are buying a used car, it may not be perfect.I have an auto repair shop that will do some minor diagnostic work for Horizon. What I find cool about Pete and John is they really want to know what is wrong, or needs to be corrected on their cars before they go up for sale. I have done work for nearly all the used car lots around my 27 ave and Camelback area. I have found by far Horizon is the most reliable, that is why I recommend my customers to buy their vehicle from them.Pete and John know how I run my business. We inspect the vehicle and give the owner the information on what is right, whats wrong, and how much it will cost to correct it. Horizon has,multiple times sent over someone who is looking to purchase a car to my shop for our pre purchase inspection. Yep, I almost always find something that can use attention. I let the buyer know all the details, I will even show them what we see.Even after telling them any negative things about the car, Pete and John still send their customers over for a pre-purchase inspection.Now, that is integrity!!!!

Mr Jones here again. Yes, I was told it was a thirteen year old car and I didnt ask about alignment, but only a complete moron would install a front end wihout aligning it, that is absolutely part of the process. And after hiring a house sitter and driving five hours on bs info, I decided to cut my losses and just get the car, but I did voice my displeasure with the misinformation (bait and switch almost) at the dealership, which caused one of the owners to have a small temper tantrum, I almost walked out then and I should have. The tires I was told were good did NOT make it out of AZ, discount tire in show low said I was lucky to make it there with the amount of sun rot on them. Then I got to buy another set of tires 2000 miles later because some retard shouldnt be working on cars, I still have the sheet from the alignment guy, he said it was the worst job he had seen in 30 years, now THATS special. If I had simply been told that they were too cheap or lazy to align it, I could have saved a set of brand new ruined tires. Dont try and sugarcoat your actions, if you want a good review make it right, dont make excuses. By the way, in the first day I had to fix the clutch, the electrical short that you forgot to mention has been addressed, the speedo quit working before we left phoenix and the check engine light is now on. Im going to hit it with a code reader today but my guess is that it was reset at the dealership. Out of all the vehicles I have ever bought in my life,private party and dealer, these gentlemen have either been the most ignorant or dishonest fellows I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.The most inexcusable of all this behavior is that this car was for my girlfriend and their shoddy lack of work put her in danger. That I can never forgive.

Hey so was happy but not now the A/C doesnt work the back brakes and rotors are bad the calibers need replacing I was under the impression these get a full inspection only 4 months later and I have to pay over $1200 for it to run again also would of liked having a warranty for the ride that was never addressed I always take care of my rides and up keep but this is ridiculous

I bought a Malibu 1999 around May. 2 months later the car brakes down and the engine gives out. So now Im stuck with a broken car that cost me 2,800 and have to buy a used engine for 650. Ridiculous. So in all Im spending 3,450 and the car isnt even worth the original price Horizon had.
