I am incredibly frustrated with this company! I help schedule appointments for my neighbor who is in his 90s and for the past 3 weeks I have tried calling The Eye Center to schedule a follow up appointment for him and have gotten no answer. Their voicemail message states that “all calls will be answered Monday from 1 pm to 5 pm and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm”. For the last 3 weeks I have called several times each Monday and Friday during the times they say they will answer and have not had a single call answered. I have left 3 messages as well. My neighbor has even called several times, left messages and even text the number that is in the voicemail to text. The doctor told him to make a follow up appointment in 2 weeks and it’s been 3 weeks and I have not been able to reach anyone. This place is a joke!

My daughter was seen in August for her routine eye exam. They said her glasses would take about a month and they would call me. I called sometime in October and was place on hold until the line disconnected twice. I called back I finally spoke with someone they took my name and phone # down and said someone would call me. I finally got the time to call on Dec 20 before I was leaving town to see if someone could follow up with me. The lady put me on hold and came back to say yes her glasses are here. I asked as of when because someone was suppose to call me. She cuts me off and to say ma’am I’m not sure, but they are here. I was like well nice to effin know that. I live 45 minutes away and have to plan around my work schedule which doesn’t work with their hours of operation. So this Friday Jan 3rd I am finally picking up her glasses that she was suppose have by the end of Sept at the latest! I will not be using them again!!!

They take care of my mother and he is a great eye doc. Would highly Recommend him to anyone. she was told there was nothing more they could do for here eyes from others places but he is helping her save her eyes. They are very kind frindley and helpful here.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I have been seeing Doc for a long time. Started with him when he was still at the Round Barn Center. I get the most thorough exam every time. Would not consider going anywhere else.

I have been a patient for over 9 years. I understand the long wait time! This clinic accepts a lot of Medicare patients that includes me. I have some serious diabetic problems that Dr. Sayegh has addressed. Please look at what the doctors payments he receives from Medicare.I feel he is worth the wait.

I came here to Dr. Moore for a simple yearly diabetic checkup. I had the same checkup with the same doctor a year and a half before, when Dr. Moore had her own place in Round Barn center. I had it with other opticians and eye doctors before, and my insurance always paid for the checkup in full or with a small copay. This time, without asking whether I want it and without consulting with my medicare advantage plan, Dr. Moore performed several procedures that were not paid by my insurance. A simple visit cost me $93. I will definitely look for another place next year.

If I were able to give this place zero stars I would. Went in for an eye exam and a pair of glasses, made an appointment and everything. They had me sitting in the waiting area total of an hour and a half. The total time I spent with the actual doctor was 10 minutes at best. While I was getting my exam, the lenses were blurry through the whole ordeal and when I brought this to his attention, he did nothing to fix the problem. I knew the prescription was bogus before he even handed me the paper. I called my old doctor back at home and the prescription this new guy gave me was soooo far off my old doctor laughed and asked me if I was kidding. The office is a mess, there are literally files every. The staff is completely mediocre. I over heard them (couldnt help but hear since they were so loud) laughing at this lady that kept calling because her glasses should have been ready for pick. After the receptionist got off the phone with the woman, they cackled and said shell get them when she gets them. I dont understand how this place is still open.

I feel this is the best clinic for diabetics to have there eyes taken care of. I have had cataracts taken out of both my eyes and replaced with new lenses and doing good. I had an infection a few years back and could not see out of one of my eyes. Dr Sayegh and his wonderful staff took extra care since this happened on a Thursday over the weekend! This doctor and staff go above and beyond to take good care of there patients. This is also the phone calls you receive checking on you at home when getting shots for your retina bleeding,laser treatments and other problems! I would recommend this clinic for great care!!

Waited approximately 1.5 hrs hours to be seen. Then they dilated my eyes which they told me I needed to wait 15 minutes for my eyes to fully dilate. However, they left me in the waiting room for another 1 hour. If you have 3 hours to waste waiting for/getting an eye exam, I guess this is your place.

If you can, go to Dr. Evelyn Moore for your eye exam, she is the BEST! BUT DO NOT deal with the office staff at the Eye Center. This one woman told me I was rude and I had just said I hadnt heard of a particular health insurance before and wasnt sure what the other option was. I told her where I worked.The first time, they couldnt find my glasses.Dr. Moore is a absolutely WONDERFUL Eye Doctor. However, DO NOT DEAL WITH THE STAFF AT THE EYE CENTER - They suck. DR MOORE GET BACK YOUR OTHER PRACTICE. I almost hate to have to change optometrists because of the office staff, but may.

The wait times are no joke. Have an appointment? Makes no difference. Brought my mothers here at 3:10 for her 3:30 appointment and we still waited until 4:30 just to see the tech. The doctor still didnt get to her until a couple of hours later. It is currently 7:00 (2 hours past closing) and my mother still isnt done and there are 5 other patients waiting. Do not come here unless you ABSOLUTELY have no other options.

I felt like I did not receive great care. We spent more time talking about his research than the problems I was having with my eye. Very expensive even after insurance. Not pleased with this ophthalmologist.

I went to The Eye Center to get a spot on my eye looked at. I had to wait for over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. Also, I had asked if I would be getting an eye exam, and they said no because my appointment was not scheduled for an eye exam. That was fine, and understandable. However, when I received my bill I was charged for Eye Exam. Additionally, they made me take photos of my eye even though I didnt need it.

I really like it their are very nice people

Dr. Sayegh has been caring for my eyes for eight years I have had successful Lasix surgery and successful cataract surgery. I am very happy with the Treatment I received here

I wish I could give them a zero star rating. I waited two hours past my appointment time to see the doctor. When I was finally able to see the doctor, he spent a whole 5 minutes with me. When I tried asking questions he seemed highly annoyed as if I was bothering him. This was my first time at The Eye Center and, needless to say, I will not go back nor will I ever recommend it to someone.

Excellent staff - I see a lot of people complaining about wait time [ I have never been to any real service staffed with real Doctors that did not have a ‘wait’ time ] - the quality of service is the metric and this is the best place - I came about 1 year ago with old bifocals and a cataract in my right eye - now I can see, all restrictions off my Drivers Licence and only readers for bible study time - thank you Eye Center!

There frames suck everytime you buy them they break week later there service is good Ill give them that but I dont know where they dont get quality supplies

Dr Sayegh is the best in the area. Hes willing to see a patient on his day off or late in the evening. I wish Dr Sayegh had been around to help my father who lost his sight. I will wait as long as i need to see and get the great care I receive from Dr Sayegh and staff.

I have been going to the Eye Center in Champaign for over a year now and have always been treated with grace and respect. The clinic is always very busy, so there is usually a wait, but thats fine, because you have to accept that a busy clinic will have wait times. The doctors are skilled and always explain their procedures clearly, carefully and without hurry. Drs Samir and Ahmed are the kindest caring people you could hope for in a profession that can often present a brusque and condescending attitude to patients. The support staff and nurses are courteous and always greet you with a smile. Although I have a two-hour drive from Galesburg, I look forward to my periodic visits to the Eye Center. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

I have known Dr Sayegh for over 10 years, since he did my LASEK surgery. I was able to see without glasses, whether driving or reading, until I needed my first cataract removed last year. This year I had the other cataract removed. All my surgeries have been successful and I have been very pleased with the results. Although I usually see Dr Sayegh, I have had opportunities to also see Dr Kresca. Both doctors are knowledgeable and I have no hesitation in recommending either doctor. Although there can be long wait times sometimes, I feel it is worth it to have an eye surgeon who gives each patient equal time and attention.

I went in to get eyes checked and they gave me a prescription for glasses both near and far I ordered glasses ( Near) from them and got the others filled at walmart when the ones at walmart came back they were wrong could not see out of them but the presciption was correct went back and had a recheck and was told the first was in fact wrong got the new prescription filled and it was wrong again after two months my glasses from the eye center came in ( Near) and they were wrong as well they said just wear them you will get use to them. Have a appointment to get eyes checked at walmart should have used them to begin with and forgot insurance.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! By far the worst eye doctor place I have been to & will never go back. I have had to wait almost 2 hours past my appt time to be seen. & I went in on my scheduled day today & they claimed they called me more than once to reschedule, but I never recieved anything. I think if I did I wouldnt have driven 30 minutes for no reason! Very rude girls at the front desk.

Not dark or overcrowded friendly caring people doing a professional job.

Unfortunately the wait time is too long for my toddler. Had to cancel two appointments after waiting for hours and this is after getting there at opening. Not a good place for kids and am going elsewhere

I am a 55yo male,and here is what happened to me.I had my exam at Kessler optical and had glasses made by the eye center.A young Asian girl asked me to scoot forward to mark my glasses.My knees were against her desk,so i had to LEAN forward while she was standing to mark my glasses.I KNEW they would be wrong,but she said,It be ok.So i get my glasses and the bifocal lens are only a 1/4 high.I take them back and another Asian girl does the SAME THING,then tells me,i sorry,but ur glasses are fine.Thats when i blew,because i took the bad glasses to Kessler to check them.He remarked where they should have been made,but had to erase those marks They said these were the very worse lens they have ever seen made.Anyway,the head Doc at The Eye Center comes out and sez,listen,i have been doing this for 40 years.I said ok,but i dont usually dont drive down the road with my head laying on a desk.He marks me himself,and sez,NO WONDER you cant see out of these.They are at least 4cm off and 5cm off the width.Got my remade glasses they are fine,but like others have posted,the young girls that work there do NOT have a clue what they are doing.But there phones are always handy.Unless you deal directly with the Doc,i wouldnt advise going there.It is a JOKE.BOTH ladies marked me leaning forward on a desk while they were STANDING,not at my eye level,and they argued saying they know what they were doing.LOL Its a joke!

Very unorganized. Employees all act like they hate their jobs. Just all around UNPROFESSIONAL!

They are very unprofessional and the employees seem to not care or know what they are doing. They are behind on technology and Im not sure the clean their equipment for person to person. Also there is kinda of no point in making appointments. Even after he pretended to check my eyes he just asked me what my old prescription ones and said oh yeah its the same .

Although waiting for 2, hours this place was very theral and really made sure I needed glasses before they just said I needed them. I did 4 of the same I exam before I found out I needed glasses

No stars wait 45 min they put drops in my eyes then i could not see to take eye exam they told me to wait 20 min andthen they do eye exam The Dr went to lunch and i left would not refer no one there.

This place is a joke. The staff was yelling at kids for being to loud, took all the toys away and made them all sit down. Left without being seen. Never going back!

Had to wait 45 minutes past appointment time to be seen. Staff did not inform me that my insurance did not cover a regular eye exam, even though I asked about it. Eye doctor barely even spoke to me. Overall, the worst experience I have had at an eye clinic.

The doctors and staff are excellent!
