Not only do I feel I got a fair value for the work the work was done exceptionally well. I didnt realize how much the work needed to be done until it was, and greatly appreciate everything. I feel everything recommended was necessary. I was also beyond thrilled with the efforts to make sure my financing was correct even though Illini Nissan was not at all at fault for the situation. While I would have preferred to not involve them, the far far exceeded my expectations and won my loyalty as long as I am in the area.

Zach, the salesman listened to what I was looking for. He found the exact color inside and out, with more amenities then I expected.My schedule changed the day i said i would pick up the car. The finance person stayed passed the closing time and made sure I understood all aspects of the purchase.Great experience.

I typically never write reviews however my experiences I felt as though needed to be shared. I was employed with Illini Nissan for roughly 5 months. During this time I faced a lot of life challenges in which lead to me leaving the position. However I will say it time in time again, Illini Nissan has THE BEST MANAGEMENT TEAM I HAVE EVER SEEN. The entire time I was there, any challenge I faced, they were there to support me. They are simply some of the most understanding people I think you will ever meet in a workplace. They care about their employees, and it clearly shows time and time again. I would highly recommend this job to anybody. It’s hard to find employers who still care about their people. But this place goes above and beyond to show their employees how much they care about them.Thank you Illini Nissan for my employment, my next vehicle purchase will only be coming from you guys!

I worked here for three months, I ended up getting unfairly fired because I was dealing with a domestic abuse situation, mind you my shift started at nine am and I texted my boss at six thirty am to let her know. I was never given any warning, they never told me the attendance policy or I would have taken the situation different. But no they just fired me then had the nerve to tell unemployment I left Voluntarily which is untrue because my boss called me and basically just told me I was fired. They never even reached in contact to see what was going on. They really do not care about their employees at least the part time ones. The ones they do care about are the ones that have been there the longest. But if you are new and part time they don’t care. Not at all

We pull up at 252p on a Saturday. They close at 4p and all we need is an oil change for a Nissan employee vehicle. Just a routine oil change. She said, sorry, were closed and the car in front of you is my last oil change. What!? Really?! She is determined to leave by 4p. Thats not how we do it in the big cities!! You take your LAST customer at closing, and in this case thats 4p. Your employees dont leave at closing, they make their last customer at closing. She actually turned us away!! Very disappointing.

When I realized there were balloons in the lobby I asked Mindy if I could remain in her area, as I am allergic to latex. David Neef is hands down the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He answered all of my questions and was very personable. He genuinely seems like a nice guy and did all he could to help me stick to my budget. At no point did I feel pressured or taken advantage of. I am so sorry I forgot the names of the other two gentleman that helped me too with signing and such but everyone I encountered was helpful and kind. They were able to get me scheduled in for routine maintenance fairly quickly AND was able to diagnose and fix a hub bearing issue that I had forgotten to mention when my appointment was originally scheduled. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and it was ready to go by lunchtime. Very prompt service! I also greatly appreciated the service shuttle to and from work.

I received an email offer from them regarding their “Vehicle Exchange Program”. I reached out to a manager and was called back by a sales rep. So I was in constant contact with Zach but after an abrupt stop, I never heard anything further. So I called the dealership asking for a manager to contact me; they took my info and said I’d get a call back. It’s been a couple weeks and I’m still waiting on that call. If this is how business is done now I’ll steer clear. When I bought my first car here it was a great experience, but it seems now that things have changed. Not sure why it’s so hard to be called back about an offer they extended to me but I guess it’s ok. Saves me time as I was willing to drive 3 hours just to do business with them again.

Everything went very well, unlike most dealers. Got the vehicles we wanted to look at. After selecting one, went for test drive, came back and did numbers, which didn’t take long. I was charged for an oil change that was supposed to be complementary. The rep was talking to me at the time of visiting the cashier and I didn’t even realize I was being charged. Me not recommending Illini Nissan is more about the negative sales experience than the service department. However, despite my distaste of the dealership, I booked service there as I like to take my car to dealers that know it best. Unfortunately, even with a scheduled appointment, an oil change and tire rotation took nearly 2 hours which is a long time for a basic service. Even so, I do like taking my car for service at the dealer so will likely return... hopefully future appointments are not as time consuming.

It seems that this service dept doesnt like to help travelers. They know that people are stuck and arent willing to go the little bit extra to help.When driving home our BRAND NEW tire popped (have only had the rogue 1 month). They didnt even want to take a look at it to see if its a manufacturer defect for the manufacturer warranty (they claimed there wasnt one). They also didnt want to go get a tire (we were willing to pay even), and they wanted us to stay an extra day in town (we have work tomorrow and absolutely cant call out). We ended up calling our local nissan dealer who told us it absolutely does have a manufacturer warranty and they should have looked at it. They explained that they know we are travelers and are basically at their mercy. We ended up going to tires plus who was willing to go get the tire, and even paid more.As I wrote this our nissan dealer just called us from home to make sure we are getting taken care of. I would completely avoid this dealer in champagne..their sales may be good but their service dept could have tried harder.

We were in a wreck, totaled our Nissan Juke. The Juke kept us safe, and, we decided the next car would definitely be a Nissan. We picked out a car, but, unfortunately, it was sold. We found another, and the sales team handed us the keys to our brand new car in an hours time. They were on a mission with us, and we felt as if we were the only people they were helping. Very poor service. We (25 yr old female, 20 yr old female, and a 2 yr old toddler) are 2.5 hours away from home when our 2016 Nissan rouge AWD lock came on and signaled AWD High Temp. Stop Vehicle. We took it to a car service where they ran a diagnostic test (for free at least someone was willing to help us out) then We took it to the nearest Nissan (Nissan dealership Champaign IL) with the diagnostic test sheet which stated all the codes the car did NOT pass. We explained to the Nissan dealership we were on our way to our grandpas funeral and we’re having issues with our car that we were not concerned about getting the car in to be serviced but if they could help us with a loaner car for the weekend to get to the funeral and get back to have our car fixed. We were told “we aren’t going to help you, our store closes in 3 minutes” very unprofessional and rude.

We were looking for a new car since ours was about 20 years old. We only have one car so we need something reliable and affordable. It was really important to me to get a car from a good dealership and we were not disappointed.We bought a Versa Note that had previously been a rental car. We were able to schedule a drive with the car very easily. The car was in really nice condition and an impressive price because of the mileage. There were a few cosmetic issues but nothing we were bothered by. When we were negotiating price and when we were paying for the car we felt we were treated very fairly and that no one sought to take advantage of us. They were all very helpful in helping us figure out loans and payments and options that worked for what we wanted.The car only had one key and the salesman we worked with arranged to get one for us in just a few days.We bought the car on October 3rd and have been thrilled with it everyday since. There have been no issues with the car and I would recommend others buy from them as well!

My daughter wasnt able to come with us to the dealership so the manager, Gary Vaughn let me take the car home for a test. Very slick dealer! DO NOT TRUST THEIR RECOMMENDATION! I was there for oil change. They told me that there is a big maintenance service due on my car. I was in a rush that day so I dont have the time to ask about details and told them I would come back. A few days later, I called them to ask about the service. It turns out that they are trying to get me do the 60K mile service when my car is only in its 55K mile range. This makes me question this dealerships honesty and professionalism. I dont know if I can trust this dealership with service recommendations anymore. I would understand if my car is close to 59K. But my car has another 5k or at least a good three month before it needs to get anything done! There is a reason why people call it 60K mile service!!!

I had a rattle/buzz in my steering wheel. They replaced the wheel. However, they put the new steering wheel on improperly. The wheel looks like it is turning left when the car is going straight. I contacted corporate Nissan to convey my displeasure. They, in turn, contacted Illini Nissan; who told corporate that they put it on correctly. So not only are they incompetent, they lie to their corporate customer service department as well.

If youre going to pay someone else to work on your car, you cant go wrong with these guys.Ive never had a bad experience with these guys. I mean, Id rather spend $0 than $any on my car, but I cant hold that against them.The service techs are always friendly and explain things clearly. Theyre really good with communication. If I drop my car off with them, I get a call if something comes up other than what we talked about, and again when my car is ready to pick up.They seem really good about giving me all my options instead of trying to cram the one they recommend down my throat. I feel comfortable taking their advice.And they have always finished whatever they need to do in a timely manner.I really cant think of anything bad to say about them.

Since moving to Illinois about 3 months ago, I have been searching for a new vehicle. I have been to Nissan dealerships in both Illinois and the surrounding states and everyone has given me the run-around...from not giving me a fair price for the vehicle I was considering to not offering me enough for my trade in, the car buying experience was horrible...until I went to Illini Nissan. Im not sure why I did not go there sooner!! Nathan Essick was my salesman. I told him exactly what I wanted, I told him that I had already been through the process many times over the past few months, and I knew exactly what I wanted for my trade in. He and the rest of the staff made it happen. There was no haggling, there was no giving me typical car salesman lingo, he understood I wanted to get things done in a timely manner, so he catered to what I was after. He was very friendly and did not give me the runaround. In addition, Kim Sullivan helped me with the finance aspect. She explained everything, went through the numbers with me, and even when we were having a hard time figuring out how to get my payments to where I needed them to be, found a way to make it happen. Because of work, I was not able to go in until later in the evening. They stayed after hours to get everything done. Lou Reid, the general manager, also helped out with the process and he was very cordial as well and gave me a great price for my trade in. No car buying experience is ever going to be easy, but these people made it as easy as possible and I felt much better when I left the dealership in my new Rogue. Update: through getting serviced at new local shops (after moving), I’m starting to get hints that they are not as genuine as initially seemed. Just little things here and there... like I was told a longgg while back my brakes were getting to the red. But these smaller guys told me they’re in great shape actually. Small things like that that adds up.. so keep your wits about you and don’t get all the services they suggest to you blindly.Original: Their service is generally good, but theyre priced-up. Id save a trip here after youve gotten the problem checked out at your trusted local auto shop, and they cannot offer a fix. Usually, whenever I come here, I end up spending hundreds of $ on serious (or just troublesome) issues. Note that they will charge a hefty $120/hr on diagnosis and are not lenient on charging you it. I had some deep wiring trouble and ended up forking over $600 bucks (5 hrs; this is like double the norm labor rate...). Lori was terrific! Her prompt and accurate communication made a long-distance sale very easy. The dealership was patient while waiting a few weeks for me to become available to pick the vehicle up.
