Lol they have only 3 employees cuz the pay is terrible so its never open

Im not sure how this place stays in business. We first moved to Chalmette a year and a half ago and always came to this Racetrac for their deliciousfrozen yogurt. Im not sure what has happened within the past few months. Perhaps the owner is sick and cant manage it adequately anymore I dont know.You never know when they will be open or closed. Last night I stopped in at around 9 p.m. and just as I got close to the door, an employee ran over and locked the door on me and said they are closed. The customers who had just been in there were shocked.Today my husband walked there (we live behind the store) to get some water at 4 p.m. and they were closed already.I spoke to a clerk at the Shell station down the street and he said he heard that the owner is trying to run the store with 3 employees. Considering they are the busiest gas stations on Judge Perez and that they have a deli, ice cream bar, and lots of roller grill foods, I cant imagine one would think that is even possible.At any rate, I really hope they can get back to the Racetrac they used to be.

I just attempted to go inside for a quick drink and snack, something I do almost every day. Their doors were shut and it’s 8:30 on a Friday! Apparently this location just started shutting down early for nightly maintenance, something that should be done between the hours of 2-4am at a 24/7 gas station.

Usually a preferred gas station of mine, but I went to wash my hands and the bathroom smelled like stale urine, which is very concerning. Additionally, employees arent wearing masks or requiring that customers do.Edit: came back when needing gas, my receipt didnt print at the pump so I went inside to ask for one. Of the three employees, only one was wearing a mask.

Always OK. UNLESS its that 1 hour around 2-4am when inside everything shuts down tight for cleaning etc..

They have COLD ROOM for BEER!!

The staff are always nice anytime of day. The coffee is always hot. What more can you want?

I like racetrack when it first opens. About a month later the squeegees are all shot and never replaced. I go where the squeegees are good. Could care less about the price.

What more can you ask for? Cheap gas, clean restrooms, friendly and polite staff, and really good sandwiches and roller foods (hot dogs, corn dogs, etc.) Racetrac almost always has a special going with food and drinks too! If you so desire, they sell lottery tickets, beer, and liquor. Also I like the choice of ice cream There are ice cream soft serve with many flavor. Topping was on the side to be added at your will.. Love to stop for fuel and a icee

Always a friendly atmosphere. Go in there all of the time and never had a bad experience. Its a busy place so with that being said... the line intends to get long.

Best gasoline p;rices on the East bank. Wide selection of drinks and snacks. Excellent customer service.

Clean, big, great bathrooms, low gas prices, and if you get only a drink most of the time they wont charge!

I came to this store today at about 2:00am and waited to be served i saw the cashier just standing about 15 feet away from me just ignoring me so i waited for her to take care of me, when she decided to go behide the counter she skip me to check out another customer that should have been token care of after me,at that point i was pissed so i decded not to make a seen, but to keep my money and find another store where they respect their customers equally, bye the way the customer she skipped me for was paying for some coffees which i dont know how much that cost, but i was about to spend 60 sumthing dollars in this store,a bet the cashier could careless as she get paid either way

Love this stop they have a frozen youget bar that is most excellent its clean and the stff is friendly.

Terrible serviceTwo young girls and two young guys. One guy sitting down behind the counter; didnt even get up to answer my question. Girl at the register too busy talking and doesnt give me a bag for my stuff. The 2nd girl is behind the counter talking to everyone else and cursing in front of customers. Super unprofessional

Im curious to know why this store is closed everyday between 12 and 5 a.m.

I give a 1st time 0 star from all 5 stars that 1 can be removed because my service was horrible DeM most go immediately she is not customer friendly she belongs working in a zoo.Great employees except one girl that must have just started working there r Im just never there when she is working her name is Ross, DeM thats what it says on my receipt think her name is DeMetri she wouldnt give me her full name she said it was on the receipt but it only has DeM she worked the night of 01/18/2017 about 11pm at night but I told her I was reporting her an was giving her bad service on my receipt an Ive never had a problem with any manager are employee never gave any bad service on my receipts which Im a loyal customer I shop at this store like everyday an never had 1problem until this nasty disrespectful woman thats needs to not be working around customers with her disrespectful self especially cursed which on my survey for her shift will be the most lowest score Ive even giving race track an will continue to give bad surveys every time I shop at this store. I hate to see people loose there job for having a nasty disrespectful attitude but honestly she needs to go, she is going to make ur store loose business. hiring people like DeM is gotta go or Ill stop shopping at this store an also other costumers heard how rude she was I had 4 people on my way out the store complaining that they also had problems with this same worker being disrespectful an rude an 1 customer said she got in a argument with her an that racetrac needs to get rid of her because she is the one thats going to ruin yall loyal regular customers DeM reg 2 gotta go or ill shop elsewhere. As soon as we swiped the card we were charged $20 for gas, did not even get any gas. Had to go inside and dispute the charge.
