Ive never felt strongly about grocery stores, but I absolutely hate shopping at this King Soopers. I always feel like the clock has rolled back about 10 years when I head in. Everything looks old, run down, and outdated, and the staff is really odd and unfriendly for the most part. This Soopers is constantly low on inventory (even pre-Covid), and its incredibly frustrating when the shelves are bare. They even now have signs for some items that they are out of stock. Going to the effort of printing and posting a sign signals to me the items are almost indefinitely out of stock (when Ive seen inventory in other stores for the same product). The pharmacy is terrible as well, with long waits, even if no one is there. Their produce sucks, especially if you like organic. Gawd I wish this place would come into the 21st century.

One of the BEST places you can go for produce and meat. Excellent selection of specialty items from so many different asian countries.

Had a horrible experience with the bakery. We ordered a graduation cake for my nephews birthday.we placed the order online and were told it would be ready by 600. When we got there. We were told thier was no cake. We were quite upset so the guy gave us another cake and said no decoraters were working. So the guy misspelled congratulations on the cake and we got the cake for free. We later found out the cake we ordered was never made . It was passed over. Forgotten.how awful of kings Soopers . No more cake orders for them.

Its a nice store pretty large, the sushi was good and the aisle looked clean.

This one goes out to all of you friendly people in the pharmacy-aka the ones refusing to give vaccines to eligible patients.Today, my wife had a scheduled appointment to receive a Covid vaccine. She is eligible to receive the vaccine and is currently in category 1b.3. She suffers from an autoimmune disorder, is on immunosuppressants, undergoes infusions every 4 weeks, and is also 16 weeks pregnant. We were instructed by our physician to get her the vaccine as soon as she was eligible. We spent hours online trying to get this appointment. When she arrived she was immediately greeted by the woman pharmacist on duty with, “you don’t look 60, why do you need the vaccine?” in a rude voice. My wife explained the situation and the woman told her she didn’t qualify. My wife showed her medical records and proof of her pregnancy. At this point the woman began looking things up in her computer about my wife’s disease and her medications and then started yelling at my wife, telling her she doesn’t qualify, and refused to give her the vaccine. Keep in mind this was in front of multiple customers and employees. As my wife broke down crying, uncertain as to what was happening, the woman proceeded to embarrass her to the best of her ability. Saying things like “doesn’t look like you have Down syndrome or cancer, so why do you get the vaccine?” My wife refused to leave as what this woman was doing was clearly illegal. I had to call the pharmacy number to speak with the person in charge. After threatening to get the news and health department involved they apologized, changed course, and gave my wife the shot. I also called the store manager. Needless to say the whole situation was incredibly embarrassing. The woman was out of line with her questions and overall attitude. She proceeded to bad mouth my wife to her fellow employees the entire hour that this ordeal lasted while my wife sat there crying and getting dirty looks from everyone.Anyways, I figured maybe if I post this someone else can avoid it from happening to them . I recommend doing business elsewhere. These people did not seem to be good or nice people.

Grocery store pickup service never works. Person always says “they had the phone but it didn’t ring”. Prepare to wait about 30-45mins for your grocery pick up order. They never get the items right either and are horrible at picking substitutions.

The lady in the Bakery was helpful in getting my sons birthday cake just right! Had the fruit filling which made the day!

Horrible place, horrible experience. Horrible manager named Eugene. Extremely rude and unkempt. Unprofessional. Very disappointed.

Dont know if I can trust their online grocery pick up anymore. Too many times Ive had to go inside and find the items they say are not in stock and I find them myself, not only that them seem to have a hard time checking expiration dates.

Not sure what kind or construction is going on in this little area but the people doing it are extremely incompetent and aren’t taking civilian safety in mind as first priority.

4 Stars because overall this is a good place to shop. Usually well staffed, well stocked and good prices. However, -1 for two issues.First issue, they seem to be reducing staffing and pushing people to use the self check out lanes more often. Self check out is fine if you are buying a couple items but last night with 2.5 hours before close, I had $180 worth of food and only the self check out was open. I asked the staff if they could call someone and the manager came but insisted I use the self check out before walking away. It took me 20 minutes to check out and had to call the self check out clerk 5-8 times because issues with the scale and the slowness of swiping in comparison to say self check out at other locations like target.Second issue is the staff. I understand the demographics/median income in Centennial and the associated difficulty with hiring but the appearance of many of the staff does not present well for King Soopers. Multicolored hair, piercings, weird/awkwardness and overall creepiness level might want to be reduced.

This is my favorite King Soopers in the area, and possibly my favorite one Ive been to. And Ive lived in Colorado for 22 years! It has a vibe that I love. It feels quaint and cozy. I dont mean that its small, because it isnt. Im describing the energy. The bigger, newer stores may seem more luxurious, but also feel more stark and sterile.The layout of this store flows really well for me. Its always super clean, organized, and well-stocked. It has everything I need, and never feels too crowded.Ive had great customer service experiences here. One example is when I needed some ice late at night. They were out of bags of ice, so one of the employees had the idea to fill up a bag of ice for me from Starbucks. He double bagged it and tied it tightly to make sure it wouldnt leak. He was more than happy to do it and I so appreciated it!I appreciate all of the employees Ive had the pleasure of interacting with. Everyone is so clearly caring and doing their best. I truly enjoy shopping here! :)

Store is close to our community.. easy to notify from county line Road.. store is very well organized with each sections.. and most of the time every week theyre giving good deals in kingsoopers app .. digital coupons.. simply add it to your account and use it.. easy to get a free king sooper card.. staff members are so friendly and helpful always... Keep it up 👍👍

I just got scammed by an employee then when the manager got involved, he himself treated me like I was stupid. All I wanted was my money back for four items. I feel cheated and taken advantage of by a grocery store. To much special in one place.

King Soopers is an excellent grocery store. Most of the time people are VERY helpful when Im trying to find that ONE particular item. Theyll usually walk me right to it.

This is for the gas station, not the store. They never have a cashier at the gas station earlier than 7am or later than 8pm, even though the sign says cashier available 6am to 10pm. So be aware if you want to pay with cash. I get it most people pay with card, but at least put a sign up that says no one is working. Ive rang the bell for assistance and knocked on the window and nothing. Again dont hate the store by any means, it just sucks to waste your time trying to get gas when they say its available.

Quick stop for last minute items. Store was clean and shelves appeared to be well stocked. During checkout because I had about 8 items, Ibwent through self checkout. I find it quick and painless with the exception of the older lady monitoring self checkouts. Although she picked up my basket, which I thought was kind only to find out she wanted to see what I was doing. She made me feel like I was not welcomed and like I was a thief. She was not pleasant until I received the receipt, at which point she smiled and thanked me. Mind you my appearance is of minority in my area, but to make me feel like one...ignorance!

Awesome place to shop and buy groceries. They have a huge variety of products. Everything is really fresh. You can save a lot of money when You sign up for the membership card. The store doubles Coupons.

Went to customer service counter with 1 person in front of me to purchase a money order. She took over 10 minutes, more like 15, she tells me the machine is broken. this is the second time ks has had a broken machine! Wake up king soopers!!! We want SERVICE! NOT GAS

Rating is for the Bakery Dept -For years, it has always been so hard to get anyones attention to order a cake. I have to sit behind the counter and try to make eye contact with someone in the back. Sometimes I have to call the store and get their attention on the phone even though im right there, in person. I ordered a birthday cake for July 20th, came in almost a week before. I got a nice lady (Cece? Cecilia? Cant recall) - all I wanted was a simple cake with pretty, dark, purple and pink roses and pansies. I even showed her a picture. She seemed super confused or didnt want to be there - I explained what I wanted 3 times and showed her a picture, not sure what else I could have done. She gave me the receipt, I got home and read over it and I noticed she didnt listen or bother to write down what I wanted - just said flowers. I called and asked if she could be more specific so the cake decorator would know exactly what I wanted - dark roses and pansies (They even had something similar in their book, I said I want flowers like #43 in your cake reference book). She said she wrote it all down. My family member picked up the cake (it was for my birthday lol. I used to be a king soopers cake decorator and like picking out what I want). I see it - it is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I even talked to the Bakers Assistant and the Cake Decorator on the phone (3 calls/store runs I made to get this simple cake) Its one bright purple rose and one hot pink/neon flower (not even sure what flower it was - some spikey flower). It was soooo ugly - I even spoke to the cake decorator a few days before and said just make it pretty. I was so disappointed, especially as a former king soopers cake decorator. I knew the job and what customers made it easy/hard on me - thats why I came in and spoke to people (3 different times) and showed pictures. I couldnt have done anything more to help them than to make it myself. I now know that I will never choose this store for cakes, even though it is most convenient location for me! I will go to a different kings that cares more about their customers and listens.

I used to shop here 100% for my groceries. The staff is friendly and stock is usually up to snuff. However, I was very upset to find someone left a harassing note on my car while I shopped here one day. I politely asked the manager to review the video footage because I wanted to know if it was an employee or a patron who put such a vulgar note on my car. He took my info but NEVER called. This is upsetting because what’s the harm in reviewing the video footage? And why tell me you’ll call me but never follow up? In addition, the gas is always at least .20-.30 per gallon higher than Costco or Sam’s Club. I’m reluctantly shopping here again because I really don’t have any other closer grocery store options. Very frustrating indeed.

Never has my girlfriend nor I been more insulted. Im 21 years old and went shopping at this Kong soopers. My girlfriend needed cigarettes--let me note here that I do not smoke-- as expected the woman at the cigarette counter asked for my girlfriends ID, this is fine and reasonable. What is not reasonable is asking for my ID and accusing my girlfriend of selling to a minor because I wouldnt show my ID. I asked for a manager and the woman at the counter would call the manager up to the counter. Accusing customers is NOT okay. I will never shop St a king soopers again. Safeway may be a further drive but they know how to treat customers.

Never have any lanes open late at night. Employees have no training. Sale tags always out of date or in date and dont register in the system. Every time I have to interact with an employee I leave upset (usually incorrect pricing forces me to have to).
