They did a great job with our kitchen remodel. From helping us narrow down all of our ideas to installing cabinets that make sense for our life. They also were very attentive to our questions and made the process very smooth. We’ve done remodels before that we’re very stressful.

After initial installation was completed ordered additional cabinets for an island and are expecting delivery ahead of expected date. Very pleased with responsiveness.

We recently installed new cabinets as part of our kitchen and master bath remodel. Our experience with Genesis was excellent, from start to finish. Greg patiently shared cabinet style and finish options, letting us discuss and ask questions to be sure we were choosing cabinets we would love. He made suggestions for designer touches and made sure we knew exactly what to expect in terms of payment, delivery, and installation. We noticed scratches and nicks in our quartz countertops the day after they were installed, and the repairs were quick and beautiful with no sign of any imperfections. We just remodeled our Master Bathroom and had a great experience with Genesis. The ordered Vista HDF cabinets and they are great. The cabinets came in faster than originally stated and are in great condition. We were able to mirrors from Vistas sister company and then painted them to match the vanity cabinets. We worked with Greg and he was very helpful and responsive.

What a breath of fresh air ... so amazing to be treated with grace and understanding. I needed help with a broken slide-out cabinet, looking (without luck) for somebody to repair it. I called Genesis Cabinet and they dont repair cabinets (either) ... but instead of leaving it at that, Melissa took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me brainstorm my options. That alone was a true gift ... to be heard and helped to the best of somebodys ability. But Melissa went a step further and had me talk to Brian, the President of Genesis Cabinet. Not only did Brian feel I was worthy of his time, he gave me step-by-step instructions on how to fix the cabinet myself. He even provided some of the materials which I would have had to purchase elsewhere. With the instructions (and confidence) Brian gave me, I was able to fix the cabinet myself!! Whats the most striking part of this story is that neither Melissa nor Brian wanted anything in return. There was no obvious benefit to helping me ... other than it was a gracious and kind thing to do. Now THAT is where you want to take your business: to a place you can trust will treat you with respect and will go out of their way to help you get what you need.

I have had multiple great experiences with Genesis through Brian Von Schaumburg. He originally worked with our builder to fill our new home with Genesis cabinets, and since then, I’ve added several additional cabinets to our home. Brian always provides the extra effort to give design ideas, advice on accessories needed, and even suggestions on other appliance suppliers to assure that I get the look I want. Genesis is highly recommended!

Very poor customer service. We took two cabinet doors that we needed to replace to ensure we got exactly what we needed. When we received them, the hinge holes had been moved from where our doors had them. We were able to make adjustments and use one, but the other one will not work at all. Melissa told us it’s not their fault and there’s nothing they can or will do to make it right. So we’re out the money for the cabinet door and left with a door that doesn’t work.

I designed a kitchen with Genesis back in 2014. The cabinets have been great, even 6 years later. That said, we encountered an issue with our oven leaking hot air and ended up damaging some of the cabinets surrounding the oven. Brian with Genesis has gone out of his way to help solve this problem with the cabinet manufacturer, even 6 years later! Any company that is as committed to customer service like this is is worthy of a 5-star review.

I’ve worked with Greg at Genesis three times and he does a great job measuring the space and advising cabinet designs/layout. I’d recommend Genesis.

Love my new kitchen (I took out all the old and started over from the walls)! Greg had great ideas, and gave me a couple of different plans to choose from - really helpful for me to visualize the changes. The true test of any company is how they handle matters when something goes wrong. We ordered bath cabinets through Genesis, in a Thermofoil color that perfectly matched our décor. We were offered the choice of vertical or horizontal grain patterns, and we chose the vertical. The cabinets arrived on time and in good condition, but when they were opened by the installers, we found that the doorfront grain pattern was vertical, while the drawer grain pattern was horizontal. Since some cabinets had top drawers above the doors, and a couple cabinets were all drawers, the two grain patterns looked very inconsistent and were certainly not what we had expected to receive.I met with Greg, our salesman at Genesis, to complain and to try to understand how the error happened. The catalog hadnt explained this, but Greg found that in the manufacturers ordering guide, there was a small footnote that stated that this was how this particular model of cabinets was made. We had never been shown this ordering guide prior to purchase. Greg agreed that we had a legitimate case, and went to bat for us. Sure enough, he came through, and had new door fronts manufactured and delivered to us that matched the drawer grain pattern. We are now happy customers, and definitely appreciate the effort and escalation Greg made on our behalf to make things right.

My wife and I recently did a complete kitchen remodel. We are so glad we went to these guys. Brian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He sat down and worked with us as we discussed what we wanted out of our new kitchen, then he came up with the plans. Our cabinet installer was friendly and easy to work with regarding our schedules.Most importantly, we absolutely love the way they look.Top notch!

I went to their showroom and met with a sales person. I showed them what my client had, didn’t want, and had removed. I explained clearly what my client wanted. Four days later I received and email with a diagram of what they designed. It was the exact same cabinet setup that I showed them I removed and what my client didn’t want. I even email her a picture of what was taken out at the first visit. In my opinion she was more concerned about charging my client as much as possible and not delivering what they wanted. After several emails and phone calls regarding corrections to their design I haven’t heard back. They have terrible customer service and their priorities are wrong. For $14,000 I expect to get what I asked for and not what she wants to sell

The worst place ever to buy cabinets are kitchen is still not done. Cabinets were damaged and they will not do anything about it . The president Brain told us that its not his fault or his problem and that everything could be hide. Do not go to Genesis to buy your cabinets you will be way disappointed. We are having to go through the corporate office to get our kitchen done now.

Gregs design was exactly on the mark. Our only regret was that we bought appliances prior to talking with him about our kitchen design. Im sure it would have been even more amazing had he not had the constraints of a huge refrigerator and range/oven. No matter... the design is great and I cannot believe how much cabinet space we have. We went with the high-gloss DeWils cabinets and they are stunning!!! Greg recommended the quartz countertop, too, and it compliments the cabinets perfectly. This is the second time Ive used Greg and I cant recommend him highly enough. He is an awesome designer with access to great contractors for the installation.

Genesis is the best!!! Their products are beautiful and the staff is amazing to work with. Brian helped me with a related design issue and his work is impeccable. I would highly recommend!

We worked with Greg for our kitchen remodel. We went into the process with a design in mind. By the time Greg was done we had a much more functional and stylish layout! He had great ideas and rolled with all the changes we made along the way (different appliances.) I had a very clear idea what profile I wanted on the cabinet doors. The cabinet company didnt have it in a sample. Greg got on the phone to the factory, explained what I wanted and they made it happen! There were a few issues that arose as we expected would happen during a big remodel. Greg helped us at every turn, ordered new doors where needed and managed all the little details we needed help with. Our project was completed about 6 months ago. There is really nothing I would change about the layout, functionality or style of our cabinets. We chose the Dewill line of cabinets. They are very good quality and I love the soft close drawers and doors. We did have an issue with the paint on one of the doors starting to peel. Greg came to the house with the rep from Dewills and they are taking care of it no questions asked. I would highly recommend Greg and Dewills.

The worst customer service ever! Will not stand behind the terrible cabinets we received. President Brian was completely rude and insensitive about the disappointment in the product. Actually said all the flaws could be hidden! Who wants to spend thousands of dollars to have things hidden!! Hoping the actual corporate office of the cabinet manufacturer will step in and make this right. As for Genesis... UGH!! I dont recommend!!
