I would give 0 stars if possible. Apparently Fedex can go ahead and change the address they are delivering to without first verifying that the address is incorrect AND then tell you that there is nothing they can do about it. Customer service is a joke and tells you just to call the shipper even though it was FEDEX who decided to change the label.
Spent way too much on my product for them to drop it off at the door without someone singing to make sure its retrieved. Hope the neighbors enjoy
Didn’t receive notifications that I signed up for, “missed” my package was told it would be delivered later that day only to later find out that I needed to drive 30 min to pick it up. Told I should have used email instead. Really disappointing, confusing and Kafka-esque experience.
Same experience as so many other 1-stars here. Received missed delivery notification as we were literally sitting by the door. Nest cameras prove no delivery attempt was made. Called customer service, almost impossible to find the option to get a live human on the phone. Finally talked to someone based in Tennessee who was useless and wouldn’t even admit to the obvious reality of what happened here: a driver who didn’t want to finish today’s deliveries. This was a replacement laptop that I really needed today, as scheduled and paid for.Not much recourse here except to stop using FedEx.

Waited 7 days for a shipment that was only supposed to be 2-3 days and the driver delivered my DEBIT CARD to the wrong address. Had to contact my bank to block that card too and get a new one and hope they get it right this time so i can buy my dog food and live
On I80 westbound, Iowa, near Exit 211. I witnessed Fedex freight tractor # 239039 cut off multiple vehicles, on multiple unsafe lane changes. They wont let me report to anyone, so maybe a on star rating will catch someones attention.
Do not suggest you have any package delivered by the CEDAR RAPIDS FEDEX. ZERO COMMUNICATION, they cant guarantee 2 day shipping unless you customize you delivery status which that website does NOT work. Dont try and tell them though because they cant do nothing including deliver your packahe!
Package was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. Today is Friday. According to tracking information delivery attempted but no one was home to sign. Thats a bald face lie since I work from home and have not left the house this week. Driver didnt even attempt to deliver. Contacted customer service and they are very rude and no help at all. If u can avoid do not use fed ex for your shipments.
Delivery driver made no attempt to deliver to my address, as I was home during the delivery window and no one knocked. The package was time sensitive, so I had to drive half an hour to pick it up here. Very annoying, but not the end of the world.The few times Ive been here, the employees have been efficient and prompt, if not very friendly. Again, fine.Most concerningly, though, during both of my recent visits, NONE of the employees appeared to be wearing a mask, including the woman at the desk who stood about 2 feet from me, and made no attempt to socially distance. Its extremely irresponsible for mail carriers to be handling packages with so little regard for public health.

Id been waiting for the second of two packages to be delivered when I got an email from the store that the package was delivered, except that it wasnt. Our house is on a corner, with the front door facing one street and the driveway on the cross street, without an obstructed view of either. I was shoveling a light snow from the driveway when I did see the FedEx truck drive by and turn the corner by our house at about the time my package was supposedly delivered, but didnt see the truck stop, at least from where I stood. When I went to shovel the front walk, there were no footprints in the snow (which was ~1 inch deep) so I figured the truck I saw mustve been in the area for someone else. I waited several days, but still no package but thats when I got the email from the store saying it had been delivered on THAT day, around THAT time! The tracking number indicated it was delivered, but we were home and did not get anything! When I called the store, the Cust Rep told me shes had her own experience with getting a delivery confirmation from a store but didnt actually get the package from FedEx until a week later. I hate the 1-800 number, with the automated phone system, as well as their Chat box which only lets you say My package is missing. This is very frustrating-- wish the store had used UPS!
I take my packages to FedEx at the airport. I know that they go out that same day. Theyre open until 9:00 at night at the Cedar rapids airport. They have their own sign and theyre way away from the airport in the traffic so its simply get to. The other places you have to have it by 4:00 p.m. and I think theres a 6:00 p.m. also. And since Ive been going out there so many times you get to the people at work there.
Waited about 5 min..., employee stays in neighboring room in a front of monitor, then came to the counter with no mask, and was rude....
Stayed home two days waiting for my signature required delivery. Never again. Now they want me to go to their place to pick up my package. Thought I paid them to ship it to me? I dont remember my shipping costs being prorated for my time and expense to drive 80 miles round trip to get my parcel at their place.Never again.Sadly I am forced to give them a star. A hopefully it is a cold dead one.
So I originally had a one star review but I am changing it to more stars. So I think FedEx has some issues with their drivers who are subcontracted out as well as their customer service which they also have no control over. Well I made it so customer service would transfer me over to the substation. I explained the problem and the guy I dealt with I forget his name handled my complaints very well. He assured me he would bring it up and I believe it was him who delivered my package personally. I was not expecting that and that was a pleasant surprise. This man went above and beyond to deliver my package when it was the driver issue. This went a long way with me! Thank you!!!

Ive had a terrible experience with FedEx in Cedar Rapids! I paid extra for an item I purchased online to get an indirect signature required for delivery, as it was a hefty investment; and they estimated the day of delivery to be Friday, September 18th. This is also a time sensitive purchase. I spent all day Friday at home with my family, and spent most of the day either in the front room by the door, or waiting outside. A FedEx truck did pass my house while I was doing yard work outside, but it did not stop. Eventually I got an email late in the afternoon that an attempt to deliver my package had been made, and that no one was there to answer the door, and that they left a door tag with the particulars as to where and when I could pick up my package/their next delivery attempt estimated time. Had the email simply stated sorry, well try again Monday it would have been a mere inconvenience, but LYING about an attempted delivery when NO ONE came to the door, and NO ONE LEFT A DOOR TAG, is unacceptable. I am skeptical as to whether I will EVER get my package, as they lied about the first attempt, and having spent extra money to avoid such a mishap only to find myself in the thick of it, I am seriously disappointed.

We want to thank our regular Fedex driver for all he has done for us. He delivers to SW Cedar Rapids Ia. He is very polite and professional. We are elderly and disabled and he brings our large deliveries, our loveseat and our kitchen table and chairs, into our apartment for us. We appreciate his pleasant attitude and his willingness to help us out. We feel he goes above and beyond for us.

My package was scanned as being put on the truck for delivery at 4:29 am and up until 6 pm said it would be delivered by end of day. Now it says “no scheduled delivery at this time.” When I called they told me it arrived after all of the drivers had already left and I won’t get it until tomorrow there’s a scan that says so. Not one that shows on the website though. Lady, I drive by there approximately 7:45 every morning and guess who’s drivers are all leaving right then. Maybe you shouldn’t say it’s on a tuck if you didn’t feel like delivering it. I will never use FedEx if I’m given an option. Really feel like they tell their customer service people to lie about everything to make you feel like it’s your fault.

I believe this is the FedEx that delivers my packages as its the closest to me.Anyway, the delivery person is always so courteous, even if Im not there. If the weather is bad he makes sure that it stays dry. Today I had forgotten that I was receiving anything (or I would have left my garage unlocked), so he put a large plastic bag over my boxes.Thank you so much for your extra effort.
Second package in a row that I have to go pick up because of them saying they cant get into my apartment building, when I literally walked by a neighbor who had a Fedex package waiting for them outside their door in my apartment building. Called them multiple times to figure out why they couldnt delivery my package and got different answers each time that gave no real answer. Terrible service and terrible experiences with Fedex.
I ordered a product with a company that took much longer than they were supposed to in production. Today, Im supposed to have my event with the product, they got it to fed ex late. I called the national Line to see if there was anything they could do. They quickly had the local facility call the driver and call me back!! They made it important to get it to me in time! Thank you for your follow up and fantastic customer service!!

The absolute worst! Had two packages sent us. One was a replacement drone and other bank card. Driver left no information of how and where considering they have multiple location Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Iowa to get the package. The bank card package was lost and then found days later. After driving 100 miles to find out I was at the wrong office and no clear communication of where my package was located. Made 3 trips before finally getting it. It took 4 days to receive my package after it was in the area. I dont usually leave reviews but absolutely piss poor service, communication and follow through. Businesses save your money and use the post office.
After ordering a package and selecting 2day shipping at extra cost to myself. I was given no indication that both Saturday and Sunday were not viable for both my delivery, but transport of the product as well. I whole heartily anticipated that a Sunday delivery was out of the question. But was given no indication that Saturday was fluff day as well. This turned my 2 day shipping into 4 day shipping. After an initial call where they again neglected to tell me this. I had to wait until they called me back for an explanation that resulted in the lack of information being provided to me as a result of “my own confusion”. I am a patient man. My problem is it not that I have to wait for a package I ordered, but that I payed extra for a service that won’t be provided to me, because I was unlucky enough to fall into the window shipping obscurity that wasn’t outlined when I placed the order. You can blame that on what your representative called “my confusion,” but the reality is that I payed for a service that I am not receiving with no justification other than that it is my own fault that I was not familiar with with FedEx procedures that were not made known to me until first, I reached out, and second, waited for another customer support call. I am ultimately very dissatisfied with the experience I have had using the FedEx service.

Sitting on hold with their customer service they will get to me shortly (44 minutes and counting)
Once again, having to drive up to pick up a package that I paid 2-day shipping on. No, I dont want to wait until Monday (today is Friday) for you to attempt again when I need it today. FedEx is the only shipper that cant figure out how to get into my apartment building, despite giving them the code before. UPS and USPS have no problems getting me packages on time.
Unfortunately I cant give zero stars. I received a email that package was due wed and I had to sign. No show. I check tracking thurs. Out for delivery. no show. I called and they forgot to put it on the truck. so muck for tracking. I had to stay home to wait and sign for two full days. yippee skippy, now I get to wait around tomorrow. They cant give me a time frame. I had to have the kids picked up from school, make other arrangements and cancel appts. Losers

The people here are very friendly and helpful and open til 3pm on Sat. That helps when you miss a delivery that needs a signature. Which is always for me.

I have to get my medication through fedex and it is a pain everytime. They frequently stick the tag on the outer door of my apt building even though I have given them the door code. I only have one day of the week that I am home during their delivery window to sign for it so now I will have to wait until next week to recieve my medication.Edit: I called the location and they waved the delivery fee for Saturday so I will recieve my medication. I appreciate their customer service.
Called them four times with my door code to the apartment and they never once came inside the apartment to even leave my package by our door. Had to drive out to the store from Iowa City because they couldnt figure out a simple 4-digit door code or have the decency to call me when they were outside. Will never use again if I have a choice.
I wasn’t told that my package would require a signature, until i tracked my package. Online it says sign for package electronically on the fedex website, but of course it says you can’t sign online. So now i am without a phone because they tried to deliver my SIM card while i was at work. It’s a day before a holiday so of course they will probably be closed by the time i try and go out there and pick my package up. I am so frustrated!
Absolutely bull**** practices. I had to have my pain meds that I urgently need mailed up to me and they claimed they couldnt get into my apartment building because they didnt have a key. Instead of, you know, calling me they just left. Id give them a 0 if I could.
Had a shipment of computers coming, and paid extra for adult signature required, and they are supposed to bring into our office. I admit that we are on a second floor with no elevator, but what they did was inexcusable. I happened to walk downstairs to go to my car, and sitting in a common hallway that several other companies use, not to mention that is open to the public sits my 10 PCs. I look around for the truck, expecting that the driver just brought them in first, then would bring them up, but no deal. Driver is long gone.On several other occasions we had envelopes that were just thrown up onto the first landing of the stairs. I did raise a stink about all this with Fedex, and I spoke to a local manager who gave me his direct number, and asked that I call him if it happens again. He did say he would take care of it. We will see how it goes.

FedEx continually delivers our packages to the wrong address. We get their packages and they get ours, its very frustrating and has been happening for years. UPS is much more reliable and friendlier.
Its out of the way but service is fast and parking hasnt been a problem.

FedEx held two of my packages at their facility for over 24 hours because they werent scheduled for delivery that day. When they delivered them there was an indirect signature required (I told them in the delivery instructions to go to the office) but they wouldnt let the office sign for them because they dont have my last name. What a joke, definitely go with USPS or UPS instead.

I came here twice to pickup packages that could be held at a closer location. I did not like to travel, but the staff was very nice.

They said they made the delivery attempt but I was at home and heard nothing. And than they ask me to get here from Iowa City to get my package. Why? I paid $35 for the delivery, and that’s not for picking it myself at somewhere 30mins drive away from my home.
