Absolutely the best people ever!!! Only place Ill ever go for my U-Haul and storage needs. If they dont have it when I need it, then I guess I dont need it that day. Lol. Seriously tho... The only place I will ever rent from ever again. Love these people and love this place. ❤️❤️😘😘😍😍

We bought some insulation and because we bought more than 30 bales of the blowing insulation we got the machine for free for 24 hours. They were wonderful they loaded our truck for us with their forklift and now theyre going to unload our truck with the forklift cuz we were dropping off the machine and what we did not use of the insulation

My bill was only supposed to be $24.78 but because I only racked up 7 miles they could charge me for they tacked on an extra $15 dollars for cleaning. I suggest everyone take really good pictures of any vehicle you rent from them. This cleaning fee is obviously a scam. I reported them to the BBB.

Absolutely horrible. We ordered some U box pods to be delivered. They couldnt deliver on time because apparently they only have one truck to deliver and it broke down. We were then promised to get it the following Tuesday. Just got a call saying they would be delivered on Wednesday (which is now past the time frame we need it to be picked up). Anytime you want to talk to someone you have to wait on hold for a minimum of 35 min. Absolutely pathetic for a company to be run like this.

Great service on a frigid Friday night. I rented a small 10 trick to move my daughter. It wasnt super cheap, but everything was upfront with no surprise fees at check in and the truck ran great.

The absolute worst, avoid at all costs. Cancelled our reservation due to availability despite us calling to confirm the day prior. You are gambling your moving day if you use UHaul.

Unbelievably disappointing, go ANYWHERE ELSE!! First, we made a reservation for a storage unit 3 days in advance. We called to confirm this reservation 20, TWENTY minutes before arriving, they said everything was “good to go!” We get there... they “lost” the reservation in those 20 minutes and we had to start all over.Okay, fine. Whatever.About a month later I came to pickup my golf clubs. There is a gate at the entrance that requires a card swipe for access to enter and to exit. I entered just fine. (The exit swipe is already annoying because it seems like overkill) but nonetheless, I went to swipe. Didn’t work. Swiped again... nothing. Tried punching in a code. Nope! Hit the help/call button.... nothing. I stood there for 10 minutes and about drove my car through the gate out of frustration before there is a “buzz” that let me out. No voices or help or anything.Now, today. My breaking point. My boyfriend makes the payments on our unit and he has never missed a payment. We roll up to get some stuff out of the unit and it has a UHAUL lock on it saying we can’t access our unit because “no payment has been made”..........I am livid. We went up to the front desk and showed them his bank statement. They recognized the mistake and unlocked it. BUT STILL! THE PRINCIPAL! WHAT IF WE NEEDED TO GET IN THERE AFTER HOURS/ IN A HURRY??!?I’ve just had enough at this point. We are moving to Green Acres Storage Facility. I’ve heard good things. I would strongly suggest avoiding this UHAUL in particular at all costs.

Charged 3 times the amount was supposed to. Turned it in as clean as it was when I picked it up and only moved a bike and bed from Walmart.

Awful. Signed up online. Access code wouldnt work. Went to office. 2 guys smoking sitting on front step. No one in office. Not wearing masks ran in & out past me at least 8 times. Said co worker had left & no idea where he went. After an hour n half. Access codes dont work at this location hv to get a card. I couldnt locate unit.was supposed to be 5 × 10. With street access. After another 20 min found someone to help me. It was a 5 x 5 with no street access & card swipe only. Stood in office for another 5 min. No one in sight? The 1st Tim I called customer service I was hung up on & when I called yo cancel & get my $ back she said sorry for bad service & she would send that location a note but cant guarantee. I should just keep calling back to check on it. Line is 20 min wait time today. Thanks u haul.

U-Haul was the p i t s they took my money and did not show up on a schedule date when we had agreed on then they didnt want to give me my money back after they did not show up at all no phone call no nothing I would never do that again the guy that was supposed to come to help me move my things did not show up was Shane cant trust anyone these days Im waiting on my money returned of course I cant get it back the way I gave it so they want to me to wait from five to seven business days for the money I paid them on the spot what the hell is that hey

Everything went well! Not sure what kinda drugs Adam is on but he should lay off and broaden his vocabulary beyond alright and looong pauses of random silence. Seems he has the ability to count to ten though, thats a plus lol.

Had a lot of issues with the communication aspect. Read the fine print, dont just take their word for anything.

I will never rent through this location again not only did I get roaches from their storage it took them almost 2 weeks to take care of it. I tried contacting the store multiple times then left messages with the call center about the pest problem and no one could get a hold of anyone I sent emails to the general manager which he never replied to I eventually had to contact BOTH presidents of the company just to get my storage unit bombed for roaches no one ever answers the phone when you call and good luck trying to get them to get back to you about anything

Excellent service. Have used these guys twice recently for short local rentals and they are clearly service minded and care about their customers. Great vehicles, easy pickup and drop off. No hassle. Couldnt have been better.

I rent enclosed 6x12 trailers from this location frequently. Never had any issues, always helpful and willing to help hitch it up. They even called me to make sure I got the moving dollies I forgot to grab. The immediately issued me a refund, not bad. $40 for trailer & that covers insurance, works for me.

The only way we had decent communication was through the call service. The man working forgot to give us our IDS back and refused to set them aside for us to pick up before returning the truck. We returned the truck clean and over half a tank, yet still was charged for it. Thankfully, though we document everything and had before and after photos of the gas gauge and the trailer. So we were able to prove it and get a refund. Still annoying to even have to do that. I feel horrible for anyone that doesnt document and had to lose that amount of money for THEIR mistakes.

Everything was perfect until we rented a truck to move our stuff out at 10pm from cedar falls. We drove all the way over here to have to call 10 times until someone named Jessica turned her phone off. We call the uhaul place and they told us it wasn’t their fault Jessica didn’t advise us that 24 hrs isn’t 24 hrs and that we needed to tell someone before coming here. What’s the point in 24 hr service if we can’t get in at 11pm? I find it unprofessional and super frustrating. Everywhere you look it says 24 hrs not 24 hrs (call ahead to let someone know). 🤦🏼‍♀️

They were able to help out in a pinch after another Uhaul location dropped the ball.

Its honestly a really easy process as long as customers pay attention to whats being said and read whats printed for them and highlighted on the rental agreement.

Top! Comfortable! But I think they need to buy many more trucks. Difficult to just go and pick up a truck. You should make reservation.

Without going too in depth, I had a strange rental situation that was going to make the guy behind the counters day much harder and which he was in no way obligated to help me with. He gave me a hand in the freezing cold with a frustrating and dirty job. A good guy, Ill be going back if I need their services again.

Uhaul is pretty good.

Needed a car dolly and went here to rent. System automatically added extra insurance we didnt want and employee apologized and promised to fix. Still didnt have fixed when we returned it and again said hed take care of it. Took forever in the office to get paperwork done initially and again when we returned. He never got the insurance off. I called store next day and got a call center, still waiting on call back a week later...

Made a reservation online, they gave me a confirmation, then they called me and said they actually dont have a unit available. Could not reach site on the phone. Went in to the office, and said they would give me a unit that someone didnt rent. They told me all I had to do was come back in and fill out paperwork. Showed 2 days later to fill out paperwork and put my stuff in storage. They had no unit and didnt remember our conversation, even though it was the same guy I had spoke with face to face prior.. The person in front of me also had issues with their reservation. This place is very unorganized and not accommodating to their customers. Pay a little more and rent a unit somewhere else. It is worth it.

When two years ago we were planing moving out Cedar Rapids, I have talked with Jessica about UBox. She gave me every detail information about the UBox with price estimating. Jessicas business knowledge with great service attitude let me remember her. In May, I were back to her working with her rented six boxes (It was so flexible, we actually used five boxes). The boxes were in our drive way for four days. After hired moving company to pack almost everything into the box, we were rearranged two boxes and put everything into boxes. The whole moving experience went through very smoothly. People saw our UBoxes that could put so many furniture and boxes into it said it gave them confident to use UBox. Thanks Jessica and others who help us let moving job well done.

Important to remember that they dont have a lot of one way trucks. It probably wont be at the place you wanted it, but this uhaul was very nice and kind when I called upset about that fact.

THEN CHARGED ME A ONE WAY FEE THAT WOULD END UP COSTING ME AN ADDITIONAL $100 FOR THE EXTRA DAY AFTER I ALREADY PAID $222. SOME HOW THEM NOT HAVING A TRUCK WHERE THEY GUARANTEED ONE IS MY EXPENSE.

This is a great moving place that helps you move if you need them to do their vehicles and even some supplies

I would never use this dealer ever for a U Haul transaction either to rent or return. We rented a trailer for one way use in Coralville Iowa and designated this U Haul location as the drop off. When the trailer was taken here the operator refused to accept it, stating I am overstocked on them already. He then told us to take it to a closed location and drop it and let them deal with it. Because he didnt accept the trailer and we had to take it to another facility other than the designated one we received a weeks worth of phone calls from U Haul about the return of the trailer before it was all straightened out. Avoid this U Haul location at all costs. Dealing with him is more hassle than its worth.

Both Saturday and sunday I went to my unit but didnt stop because there is a uhaul van blocking only my door. And four kids playing ball in the parking lot. Very irritated that today we would have hit the girl running after a ball had we not been watching

Rental date was around February/March 2016Bullet points. -* Rented the truck around 10am. Lots of scratches, dents and terrible cosmetics. Was told by the manager you have the covers everything coverage so it wont matter. Works for me.* got the truck out the lot, noticed the fuel gauge on the paper and the actual were different. Notified dispatch. When I got the truck to my place the manager called me, said to text her photos of the gas gauge, we went back and forth for an hour with photos that werent good enough, eventually things were square and we kept keeping on with the move. Had the truck rented for 21 hours. Did what we needed to do in that time. Took the truck back in the morning and the tranny started having shifting issues. Had to shift it myself to be able to allow it to go up hills. Made it back to the pick up location, dropped it off. The app was confusing for check in, eventually gave up because my wife and I were delirious, cold and wanted to go home.* wrote an email to corporate that same morning regarding the transmission not shifting properly.* hadnt heard back from anybody from U-Haul for almost 2 days after the rental closed, did see it get charged on my credit card, so somebody back there was doing something.* we went four days without hearing from anyone so I finally went into the office to inquire about the complaint regarding the transmission. There was no manager around so the girl at the desk said she would pass on my information.* two days later I called customer service, inquired about the complaint, and was told that the issue had already been closed and that I have been contacted and talked to about it. This was a complete and utter lie as I had never talk to anybody regarding the issue and the only interaction I had with U-Haul since I had dropped off the rental is when I personally went into U-Haul to inquire about it. Somebody in the back office, and the corporate office had falsified information.* I called about it another day later because I still had not heard back from anyone and found out the manager was on vacation that week. Fair enough, I love vacations too and hate to work during them, so I didnt want to mess with the situation and burst her bubble and ruin her vacation so I put the whole thing on pause for a couple days.* I went into the location Monday after 430pm (almost 2 weeks after my initial 1-day rental) and the general manager was back from vacation. She was the sweetest, kindest person Ive met in a long time who holds a management position. She listened to everything I had to say, inquired about all the details, was extremely thorough about everything and in the end Sabrina completely took care of all my problems and though it had taken a very long time to get resolution, the resolution that was received was more than adequate, more than expected, and caused this experience to go from one of the worst moving situations ever, to the best uhaul experience I have ever had.I would give five stars if it werent for the falsification of information on the customer service and corporate side and the bad tranny. I wouldve given two stars (or less) if it had not been for Sabrinas diligent work in resolving the situation and providing us with such an excellent resolution. When we need u-haul again in the future, this will be the location we rent from as long as Sabrina is still the one in charge.

Should be more clear about rates with mileage and have you pay based on estimated mileage

Friendly customer service but their process needs some work. Called in looking for specific sized boxes. Was told they had them in stock. When I arrived a different employee was there and said there was none in physical stock even though their computer said otherwise. The first employee must have looked at the computer and not at physical stock. Anyway, it was kind of frustrating.

Have had SEVERAL problems with them. Complaining staff, card issues, and most of all, I rented a shed late, and when I got to it at midnight, I realized there was a padlock on my shed they failed to remove.
