I’d never hired a moving company before, and was worried and not sure what to expect. These guys were phenomenal! They made the booking and quote process super easy, and on the day of, the movers were the absolute best! Worked around us and our schedule, were friendly and so polite, worked incredibly hard and quick, and took excellent care of all of our stuff. They got everything here for us safe and sound. They went above and beyond every way they could. And pricing was super reasonable. Will absolutely use them again!

I used 2 men and a truck I chose the 1 star only because there was no 0 star. A year and a half ago they charged me 425.00 to move me. The movers didnt want me to help them because Im handicapped. 2 months ago I used them again. They wanted to charge me this time 900.00 plus dollars. They included there lunch break in that amount. Preston broke so many items. It was ridiculous. He was rude. He put my keys in a box and I had to open every box to find the keys to turn them into my òld landlord. When they were done the amount was over 900.00. I got rid of half my belongs due to not being able to pay the 420.00 they charged me . They admitted that they had taken there lunch bill off my bill. No kidding. And another fee that I didnt even use during the move. YES, IM TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS. THIS IS A SLIM SHADE BUSINESS. Thank god I recorded the whole scam. Via a hand held recorder I hid in the room. For equality assurance. I sujest you do the same. 1 last note, I would bring 3 trips of stuff in to there 1 trip. AND IM HANDICAPED. I needed them at the last minute to load a truck with some things I had purchased in Iowa, which required a trip to the hardware store for some supplies and a little bit of tools and prep on site. I am in California. I was able to make all the arrangements via phone and internet, very quickly, and the load went flawlessly. They were very responsive and altogether great.

They guys showed up on time, they were efficient, took good care in moving the items we wanted moved. They were friendly, very conscientious. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them.

The movers were very unprofessional, and one worker in particular complained the entire time about moving the furniture I had. They broke one of our lamps and punctured our box spring. They also hit our gate with the moving truck which caused damages to our property that I now have to pay to have fixed. They took a lot of breaks (well over an 1hr) however, they only took 30 min off of the moving time/price. I used Two men and a Truck for a previous move in 2019, so I expected the same quality service this time around. I was very disappointed to find out that this was not the case. Two Men and a Truck was definitely not worth the price that I paid, and I will not be using them for future moves.

They didnt tell me that they was in Cedar Rapids and the time I was charged for started when they called me from Cedar Rapids, I live in Cedar Falls! I saw them break something, and told one of the guys, they denied that anything of the sort happened, unless I can find the thing they broke, cant find it in my stuff, so maybe after they broke it they kept it so there wasnt evidence. They piled all of my boxes into a corner of my new apartment, didnt ask where I wanted furniture to go.

We experienced a basement flood and needed to move all the furniture out before recarpeting. We are both in our seventies so renting a truck and moving ourselves was not an option. Scheduling the move over the phone turned out to be easier than expected and I was emailed a move cost estimate range based on the list of items I provided. The final cost turned out to be at the low end of the range. The three man crew arrived at the promised time. They called ahead to be certain I was ready. The crew leader handled the business aspects efficiently. All three movers worked steadily and nobody stood around with nothing to do. I was impressed with the care they took preparing items for loading, asking questions about how I wanted specific items handled. At the storage facility unloading went swiftly as there were no stairs to negotiate and ample moving carts offered by the facility got everything up the freight elevator and into my unit quickly and safely. It was a fun experience and I enjoyed being with these cheerful young people. In a few weeks I will need to reverse the process. I will use Two Men and a Truck again and I will ask for the same three men and a truck that moved me originally.

Called to see if they could assist moving my mother from her home to a assisted living program the day before the move. It was a last minute thing as she had been in the hospital and then in skilled care and discharged to an assisted living program . They were able to fit her in and were wonderful to work with.

So they had to move items twice in a way.They saved us money by getting the job done sooner than our original estimate, which was greatly appreciated. This is the third time I have used Two Men and a Truck for moving and as the previous two times, I had a great experience. They movers were always friendly and professional. I appreciated how they asked questions if they were uncertain of what to do with some of the boxes or furniture. Upon arriving at the new condo, they took time to carefully set furniture where I had instructed. They even moved a piece of furniture a couple of times until I decided where to put it for good. It was raining that day so they took great lengths to make sure wet shoes didn’t track mud and dirt into the new carpets. I highly recommend anyone who is moving to give them a call!!!

3 men arrived to move a solid Italian marble dining room table from our truck into our house:) They were so friendly, socially distanced showed up with masks on and moved my table with ease. It was honestly like 2 life long friends were loading up my house. When we got to the new place, they would bring in their dollys ox boxes and go wherever I needed things taken. Once finished, it took some time to get a hold of the office staff to pay for the move (as there was no CC reader in their clipboard). Even though it was a very difficult place to move to they tried very hard to make it as economical as possible and the workers worked very hard!

Fantastic experience - a couple very heavy items and 3 fights of stairs, but they kept a happy attitude the whole time. We moved an entire house in half a day and I’m so glad we utilized 2 Men instead of doing it ourselves.

They were great. I love on the second floor and had no power. That didnt stop them from taking my things down a few flights of stairs in the dark. They also beat me to my house we were moving things to in crazy traffic and detours. Everything was just as good as before they started. Would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

This was my first experience using a professional service for my move. Why I waited so long I will have to ponder for the rest of my days! From the first contact via email to originate a quote, to a phone call follow-up and especially to the two young men sent to do that physical stuff I have near zero interest in any longer...Excellence.When the truck backed into the drive and hit park, both of the crew were moving with purpose. We walked the house to verify what was going, one hit the garage to get started there, the other grabbed a stack of furniture pads and a roll of shrink wrap which I truthfully hadnt expected, and got busy. The entire home, admittedly small, was on the truck and heading down the road in under an hour!Unloading was even more impressive if you can imagine that! First a nice runner was rolled out to protect our hardwood floors as much as possible, then each item made its way to its new home along with double and triple checks to be sure where we wanted it to be.Trust me, I rarely get excited about spending money but this, this was well worth the price I paid to have this done for me! I dont plan to ever move again, but then I never planned to move the other 6 times either. The next time if it happens though, I know who I am calling. Thanks guys!

These guys were great! Very professional and FAST. We’re able to get my three story townhome AND a storage unit loaded on their truck before noon. But maintaining everything was wrapped, padded and protected in this phase. Off loading was just as good treated my belongings and the new construction condo I am moving in to with kid gloves. Age and injuries made me unable to do the move, like always do. These guys were even kind enough to guides me through the off loading - as I’m usually the muscle. Highly recommend Two Men and A Truck!

Two Men and a Truck were outstanding to work with. Setting everything up over the phone was a breeze and took no time at all. On move day, the movers showed up on time and exceeded my expectations! They made quick work of things and even managed to keep my 2 year old son entertained while doing it. We only had them move the heavy items (sectional, dressers, etc.). Next time, I will probably have them move everything. I would definitely recommend this company.

I cannot recommend. We had 5 (out of 6) very inexperienced guys who really needed a strong leader to help give direction and keep everyone working efficiently. Many items were overlooked in the kitchen and not packed up. TV screen cracked and and wall art frames scratched significantly. One of the guys had the gall to take a 360 photo in our new home, Follow up phone calls and promises to hear back from Blake have been nonexistent.

Excellent service! I appreciate the decision made at the front of the job to bring another mover in rather than waiting until late in the move. Everything was moved with care. There was no damage. Everything was stacked and moved safely and then unloaded organized in our garage.The guys were friendly and arrived ready to work. I used Two Men and a Truck to move my mother from her home to an Assisted Living facility. While visiting a number of these facilities, Two Men movers were consistently recommended as a “preferred” mover. My moving crew (Zach and Mike), took special care to wrap, pack and move Mom’s furniture and other belongings, including a well-loved grandfather clock. And most importantly, everything arrived safely, efficiently and in good condition at our final destination! The front office staff (Kim and Deb) were also very helpful on my initial contact, a confirmation phone call on the day of the move and a follow-up call for feedback upon the completion of our move. What a great team from start to finish!

He defendedthese losers. He was not concerned about myIssues. I still may sue them for the difference between the less than ten hours and the over ten hours. We moved from Utah to Iowa and had a great experience with Two Man Movers. They came and gave us a quote for packing and moving. The packers did a great job and everything arrived in great condition. Our furniture was delayed a few days, but we were kept informed and fairly compensated for the delay. When our furniture was delivered, the guys did a great job moving in furniture and making sure everything was in the correct room, as well as reassembling all furniture that had been taken apart.The estimate we were given was more than we ended up paying, which was amazing- we had thought this move would cost more than the estimate!We would highly recommend Two Man Movers for all your moving needs!

No two people in the Cedar Rapids office knew the details of my move. I was given different loading and unloading times by different people in the office.I was given several different arrival times to load my items. When the movers had not arrived 90 minutes after the agreed upon time, I called the manager. When I complained about the poor communication, he threatened to cancel my move. I was able to track down the owner and he got this resolved. The owner has not subsequently responded to numerous attempts to get in touch with him with problems I had during and after the move.My possessions were loaded in Waterloo, unloaded in Cedar Rapids and then re-loaded in Cedar Rapids. Had I been told my items would be loaded and unloaded twice before reaching my destination, I would have paid them to pack. The movers arrived at my destination without the inventory list that had been completed in detail by the movers who did the first loading in Waterloo. When I asked for the inventory list, I was sent a fabricated list that was grossly incomplete and inaccurate.I was told I would pay the movers at my destination but they knew nothing about this. My credit card was subsequently charged without my authorization. When I brought this to the attention of the corporate office, I was told I signed paperwork that said the credit card used for the deposit was the one that would be used to pay the balance. No such paperwork exists. I have items missing but the company has not responded to this.My items were moved as part of another move. This has all the appearances of a move that was done off the books.

I had a great experience moving out of my old apartment and into my new one with Two Men and a Truck. I had a few days before I could go into my new place, so they helped me to store my items securely in the interim. The gentlemen who helped me move were very polite and friendly, and treated my items with care. I was very impressed with the level of care they took to wrap my delicate items in cloth tarps and/or saran wrap to keep them safe, as well as how securely they placed my items in the moving van. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone looking to do a move.

I purchased a new sofa and ordered white glove delivery. The delivery guy said the sofa was too big to fit through the doors to my home, and Id have to modify the doors before the sofa could be brought in. I called Two Men and a Truck. Very unorganized work place, their schedules are not always the same. Not a safe place to work due to their criminal employees and a lot of their stuffs carries guns as they do this jobs. Only if there were fewer stars than 1 that’s what I would have selected

Our experience with this company was great. The associates that helped us set up our moms move were courteous and very helpful. They made it so easy for us. The young men that packed up our mothers belongings were very pleasant and efficient in completing our move.We had an unpleasant experience a few years ago with another company, so were cautious about this move.
