I agree with previous comments. Was fine purchasing the machine there. Service is terrible! My one year old Sapphire stopped working. 10 to 12 days to even look at it. I was going south for the winter in 5 days. I called another Viking dealer and he troubleshooted over the phone and told me to bring it in right away and he would fix it before I leave in 5 days. I just picked it up.

Friendly and helpful even though I didn’t buy my Viking originally from them. Got back to me quickly about a part that was obsolete. They are also incredibly knowledgeable, they knew immediately what was going on with my machine even though it is 18 years old.

Registered for a class so had to buy book for pattern. Paid for book over three weeks ago and no call from Westside to advise when Ill get book.? Class was great, and instructor very helpful. Just feel spending $30 On a book for one pattern is pretty stiff fee, plus not getting the book is poor business plan.

It was very nice buying a machine here.It is -not- very nice to get your machine -serviced- here.The man who works on them is extremely rude. Not just to customers but to the employees as well. Hes condescending and argumentative. He did not give anything close to an accurate estimate of how much the repair was going to cost, only telling me about how much the part would cost, which was only about a quarter of the total repair price. All repairs I have to leave my machine with them for 10 to 12 days, even if my machine is still functional and I can still use it while parts come in.Id pick West Side Sewing over Pine Needles, but Im sure theres some place with better repair services.

Without even looking at my sewing machine out of the box, I was given a $200 estimate. Then told it would be better to just buy a new one.

We loved the open concept, selection of fabrics and overall friendly atmosphere. We definitely enjoyed shopping here.
