Wonderful, quiet atmosphere with the warm smell of freshly brewed coffee hanging in the air. I could spend all day pouring over their books and indulging in their cheesecake.... 😍🍰📚

Stor policy is they dont allow products to be held and there is a limit of 4 allowed to purchase. When it comes to trading cards. But if youre an employee you can hold and purchase as many as you want instead of selling to the customers. Manager confirmed these rules are for everyone but still allowed employee to hold back products displayed and purchase more than allowed as well. Matt still had nothing to say except sorry but still allowed products to be held. Needless to say the rules should apply to everyone. Very dissatisfied they chose not to let the customer have a chance to purchase any product and allowed employee to purchase all and most likely for means of reselling at 2-4x the price.

Always clean and everyone is always so helpful. I was able to order and receive a book a week before it’s official release date. AWESOME!

Good place for book lovers, however the physics and astronomy could have better collection e.g., Gamow, Feynman

This place is awesome i love it! I wish they were open a little bit longer like maybe an hour but its really cool and they have so much to look at there. It would probably take me a month to look through everything considering theyd be getting new stock daily.

Its nice to actually look at things in front of you instead of online, but yes you do have to leave the house. Saw these cups from Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, they are less money here than online.

The employees were very thoughtful and kind to the children that were within the store.

Ive always loved this place, the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars because I didnt expect a lot of my favorite things to be taken from the store, spiritual books and tarot cards and those types of things. But as always they have quite an amazing collection of books. And love going there always.

Cozy bookstore, yet large enough to have almost anything youre looking for. Helpful staff. The cafe is a great spot to sit and enjoy a hot cocoa and read a favorite book.

Its ok, but the new bookstore in Marion has all best selling titles without having to hassle with all the usual clientele and BN staff.

Tried to use a gift card given to me, found out it was worthless. One of those cards that has a time limit. A bad day just keeps getting worse.

This place never changes which is great because its a good experience every time. I love going weekly into the B&N cafe and always am sure to pick up a couple of fresh baked cookies! 😋☺️

Ive been going to this Barnes & Noble since I was 3 years old- big, big fan. Now that I am old and have experienced the world of retail, I can confidently say this Barnes & Noble really keeps you in a bubble compared to the harsh world of other retail places. The employees here are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! If Im every having a bad day- I still come here to escape from it all.

No more Lego table for kids. Sometimes you’ll find and get a very good deal for educational toys. We love this bookstore standardization. You won’t get lost here.

Been a while since I was in a bookstore. Browsing the tables and shelves is sooo much better than an online experience for gift finding. Line went quickly and staff was extra helpful. Ill be in more often.

Even though there is a Starbucks in the store, you can not use a Starbucks gift card. Main reason I went into get some childrens books. You can use a B&N gift card in coffee shop.

Typical Barnes and Noble. They occasionally have good stuff on the clearance racks, but asides from cheap finds and Starbucks, I wont purchase any brand new books there. Why would I when Half Priced Books is across the street?

This Barnes and Noble is conveniently located on Collins Road. Its the only large bookstore in Cedar Rapids, saving you a trip to Coralville. Its clean, well organized, tidy, and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Whether you need to dash in and out for a specific item, or you want to do some in-depth reading or browsing, you will be satisfied with this location and their selection

I love the huge variety of books that are available. Also if the book you want is out of stock, they will order it for you and you can either pick it up at the store or have it shipped to your house!

Great selection of everything from books to music to toys! Found a couple Christmas presents here & even had a coupon for being on their emailing list :) also tonight they had some school children performing Christmas & movie theme music live. Great place to go!

Its a pretty standard Barnes and Noble. Generally pretty quiet and clean except when Im there with my kid since I have to carry him out over my shoulder like a bag of flour. Then it sounds like pterodactyls dying.

Such a great place to relax, drink Starbucks, read a book, or listen to an audible!Very wide selection of good reads for all ages and even most hobbies.The Starbucks cookies are a great addition to a good book.

With so many developing online and local options - I am thrilled that B&N remains with us.It seems to be the policy that B&N online prices are a bit lower - but I find benefit in the services of a knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the facility well organized and comfortable.Staff numbers are probably proportionate to demand most of the time and I dont find the wait time excessive - with an abundance of interesting titles to explore.

I love the smell of books so walking into Barnes & Noble is a treat. On my last visit I was looking for a particular book. I looked in the section needed but couldnt see what I was looking for. There was no one at the Customer Service desk. I waited around bit no one showed up so I left.

I was disappointed to find only one book on fish and nothing too detailed. Also there were no books on aquariums. But if you have kids, that is a great place to go. They have a lot of toys, games, and an excellent book section for them.

Not a very large selection of programming books. Its mostly just python and machine learning, which, true, are hot topics these days. But not what I was looking for.

I only gave the 4 stars because I enjoy their books and select times. However, a couple staff members are rude. The curly brown haired lady is the worst and snobby.

Starbucks right inside the door, a few places to sit and read. Their stuff remains pricey in comparison to the rest of the market place however they do donate books to the community agencies on a regular basis so thats pretty awesome. The managers are big readers and they are the best.

Mr. Brooks was charming,funny and very accommodating. Please have more authors and could have used more publicity. It was great.

For manga, its one of the best places to go for getting currently releasing volumes. Sometimes, there are sales for buy 2 get 1 volume free. Membership is worth for those buying multiple series.

I love this book store. I could stay there all day. Lots, and lots of books. Well organized. Has a relaxed coffee shop. Even if I order books, I order from their website. Quick, inexpensive delivery. I dont want to lose a local bookstore. I dont use Amazon. They pay no property taxes in our area

Movie was marked 10 bucks once I got it to the counter they said no its 70 bucks there was 3 more in the back at 9.99 they still refused to sell to me at the price it was marked

Smaller than most B&Ns Ive been to but nice enough atmosphere-wise. Glad to have a physical bookstore to look at books instead of just a website. It gets a lower star rating for not having any outlets in or near the cafe. There are a lot of seating options but youll need to be fully charged if you plan on using their Wi-Fi for very long.

Dude. Theres books EVERYwhere. How could you not love this place? Maybe if youre blind. But I am almost certain they have books in braille. And I know damnt well they have books on tape. Checkmate, bucko.
