Pricey like most college bookstores and hours are not ideal. You should really reconsider staying open past 5. Being that Kirkwood is a community college many of your students have jobs that keep them past 5.
The book store staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating to our needs and processed us through quickly. They have great selections and reasonable pricing.
Except rare occasions, dont buy your books here. You can almost always find it cheaper online, by just putting a small bit of effort. There has only been 1 book where I was able to buy cheaper at the book store than at a different location.
Best community college in the state! Professors (the ones Ive had) genuinely care about youre success. As a non-traditional student iin the nursing program I couldnt ask for a better experience!
Hot deals! but also very hot store? Cool it down
Nice place to get school merchandise and supplies. It is staffed with helpful students and faculty. I do recommend to rent certain book from there but dont buy.
Do not buy your text books here, they overprice everything. Go to amazon to collectible prices. They wanted $150 to RENT a textbook i could buy new online for $140. Save your money. The staff are friendly but the prices are absurd.
The store is alluring and the display cases are always colorful! The merchandise is well organized and when you shop for textbooks, there is always a helping hand if you need it.
Avoid:• Higher prices than Discount Books down the street. Often by as much as double.• Often dont have the books you need in stock, even though their told in advance by the college departments.• Renting books is a nightmare. Minor damage (wrinkled pages) will keep you from returning them. If you cant return them, you must buy them. If you cant buy them, your financial aid is blocked until you do.• If you dont have a receipt youll be charged $15 to have a new one printed. It takes them around two minutes to get this done for you.• Youll be in line for as long as thirty minutes, even if you order your books ahead of time online and pay for them online. Youll still be made to wait. These people --do-- not--care--about--you. They arent afraid of having crap business practices and hyper-inflated prices. They exist only on the backs of customers not savvy enough to realize that there are other options.Do yourself a favor and look at the store on Kirkwood Blvd. Discount Books I think its called. Its by the gas station. Theyll let you rent books and pay for them with student aid when it shows up (they let you just walk out with the books without paying in the meantime). Or go to the internet and get em. Or anything-- anything-- else. But dont get suckered into paying these people a dime.
Friendly staff, store is incredibly warm during the day. Bring a supply of water until it cools down or they fix the AC
The bookstore staff are great. The apple genius people on the other half of the room need to work on their soft skills.
Its naturally pricey. You can often get required text cheaper elsewhere. Along with everything else.
Best college ever with good teachers who help to achieve your degree
Helpful staff and easy to get what you need done
One of the best if not the best college in the area.

A really good school, definitely a great experience.
