The place was hopping on a Saturday morning! Coffee was great. So great to see a cool little coffee shop in the little town I called home for six years over 30 years ago.Super friendly staff!!

Cute and small cafe with amazing coffee. The baristas were friendly and made great recommendations.It has a nice inside seating area as well as outdoor seating in front of the cafe and a back patio.

First time in the Columbia area and noticed how well this coffee shop was rated! Really good decaf Americano and probably the most beautiful chocolate croissant of my life! Seriously don’t even have anything that good looking in the bay area! And for the record, yes, it tasted fantastic, too!

I had a rough morning. ROUGH. I needed caffeine. Piecewise is close to my work so I stopped in. As I ordered my coffee I noticed all the baked goods and treats, but I also noticed some yogurt and oats. I asked the barista what they were and what he would recommend. He suggested the overnight oats with banana. As I hadnt had time for breakfast or time to pack lunch, I went with it. OMG, it was soooooo good. Im not a huge oatmeal or banana fan, but it was delicious. I was tempted to lick my cup. On a side note when I joked about my horrible morning, the guy who waited on me actually asked if there was anything he could do to make it better. That alone did. I definitely appreciate the care, the coffee, and the oats.

Loved the Christian music playing and the barista was really nice. The Dirty Chai I ordered was arguably the best Ive ever had. You see, I like my chai with a kick, and this one definitely bucked!Would definitely return. I want to get a feel of the post-covid vibes.

This place is really good. Nice rich, nicely roasted coffee, without that burnt flavor some other coffee chains have.

I just adore this spot and am so glad theyre where they are and that they survived Covid. The light there in the late afternoon is especially nice, everyone is consistently kind and the coffees and treats are always just right. Its a real delight to pop by for snacks and iced coffees while the rest of the city is downtown or in the Vista and 5 Pts. Piecewise is an absolute find.

Visited this place for the first time recently, meeting with a networking contact. The space was lovely and the overnight oats were to DIE for! Likewise to the honey cinnamon cardamom with macadamia milk! I will definitely stop by again whenever I need a meeting place in town.

What a great place! The atmosphere was really comfortable and the staff, especially the owner Stan, were really friendly. Make sure you ask about their secret menu, theres some great options on it!

There are not enough words of praise that I could sing for Piecewise! Their coffee is unmatched & their willingness to make a drink that you love is unmatched. I have had just about everything on their menu & have yet to get something I did not like. Modern, laid back atmosphere, great service, & AMAZING coffee & pastries. If you have not yet tried them, please do.

New age coffee shop angled towards a younger people with indie music playing and a clean atmosphere - has everything you would expect and the staff was friendly. 5 stars.3 ideas for improvement:1. I thought that the iced coffee was a little watery. I like my coffee really strong, so maybe it was me, but there was a lot of ice in the drink as well compounding the problem. It could have just been what I ordered though, so it’s not a big knock.2. There was a few flies that were buzzing around my head when I was trying to study, which just prompts me to leave earlier. Maybe you could look at the cost associated with installing a fly fan near the door?3. I hate these chairs/stools, they’re not comfortable at all. The more cozy I am, the more likely I am to stay and buy more coffee/pastries. They’ve literally proliferated all the newish establishments opened including Publico and Kao Thai Cuisine.That’s it, we’ll be back, and we’ll recommend to friends. I’ll update the review also if anything changes. Good job on creating a good atmosphere / coffee experience.

Literally the best caramel macchiato to cross my lips. Bryan, their barista, does a good job. Great atmosphere for conversation or studying, plenty of receptacles for computers. The place is clean. Not much more you can ask for in a coffee shop. Love that they are local too! This place will definitely be on my regular rotation.

Truly fantastic. Blows pretty much every coffee shop Ive been to out of the water. I came here off a recommendation from a friend, and was impressed. I had their cappuccino as well as the seasonal eggnog latte, and both were amazing. Of the two, the eggnog latte was the better, but both were great. Not too sweet and still packing that caffeinated punch, both were what every other latte and cappuccino aspires to be. The workers were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, and the coffee was filled to the brim and given that beautiful leaf look on top. 10/10. I highly recommend this place (its also an amazing place to knock out schoolwork on their wifi as they having cords you can plug into to charge your laptop).

Yummy! The baristas were friendly and our drinks were awesome -- fiance and I both got vanilla bean + caramel lattes w whipped cream (and they added an in-house white choc drizzle to mine, SO good!). The espresso tastes great, perfect drink. Thanks for the rollercoaster fuel, guys!

So happy to have such a great café in Cayce! I dont live in Cayce, but Piecewise happens to be the perfect distance away for a satisfying café ride from Downtown Columbia. And its absolutely worth the ride. Delicious coffee, pastries, and more. The design and atmosphere is laid back, the design is gorgeous and theres plenty of space to hang out with friends, or settle in alone and work or study. They have their own bike rack and are working on adding patio seating (which will be awesome come fall).

Yesterday I had the distinct honor of photographing Stan and Lindsey, the brains behind Pricewise Coffee Co in Columbia, SC. I was there to create images on behalf of the SC Community Loan Fund to tell their amazing success story. Naturally, I arrived early to see what the experience was all about. Walking in, I was immediately hit with this wonderfully warm and vibrant atmosphere. This is clearly a place where “happy people” roam. I enjoyed an amazing cup of Chai tea with an organic gluten-free chocolate chunk cookie that was to die for! Lindsey & Stan are the nicest people in the world. And this place is simply FABULOUS!!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good cup-o-joe, or just a friendly relaxed atmosphere to read a book or catch up on some email.

This coffee shop is welcoming and cozy upon walking in. Vegan options made my soul happy. My kombucha, salad and vegan chocolate chip cookie were awesome! Ill definitely be back!

Very cute place. Everyone was so delightful, happy, great customer service. I would reccomend everyone to come here. I LOVE THE HOMEMADE GRANOLA!! They have overnight oats that have almond milk which is awesome. I live the yogurt parfait with the home made granola and home made fruit topping. Yall are the best!!!!

I stopped by here before a job interview for a caramel cappuccino. It was delicious. The employeed were all extremely courteous and friendly. Piecewise Coffee Co. is a 5 star shop.

This shop reminds me of the many I frequented in Cali. Love the minimalism. Love the selection of crafted coffee. Good coffee is truly an art form. The selection of pastries are phenom. Only wish there were some cozy chairs.

Do I start with the service or the coffee? I absolutely LOVE this shop. Its great for running in for a quick cup or working in all day. The staff are phenomenal, by my second visit they already knew my name. I see people are always warmly greeted when they come in. Coming here feels like being at your best friends house - but, with the BEST coffee. As a graduate students my budget is pretty low but my coffee expectations are extremely high. This place has never disappointed me. They have everything from espresso, lattes, black coffee and a magical secret menu of artistically made drinks. I tried 7 coffee shops in Columbia, nothing beats piecewise!

They have unique and carefully crafted lattes with latte art when ordered hot. Some delectable espresso. The owner stan is friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions. The interior suburban and chic, cozy and warm. The back patio has benches. The bagel and cream cheese was fresh, rich and the spices were pronounced and delightful. It was very crowded at noon and I had to sit outside.

Good coffee from friendly staff - excellent place to meet up with a friend, journal, study, or read. The atmosphere is relatively quiet (sans espresso machine of course), the tables are kept tidy and clean. Nice bathroom facility as well. Highly recommend for a cup of coffee and even a lunch or snack - nice selection of food as well as drinks.

We stopped in driving home from Hilton Head and were super impressed! The ambiance is very urban modern cool. There were lots of alternative milk options and my macchiato was delicious. Baristas were sweet, too.

Very nice place and there coffee is very good

Ive been coming to this coffee shop since it opened, and Ive never had a bad experience. I used to live within walking distance, but even living 15 minutes away, I still come at least 2 or 3 times a week. If there has ever been a mistake (which is rare), its always made up in the most apologetic way, and all of the baristas make the experience so much better. The lojo (cold brew) or the honeysuckle latte are my go-tos. You cannot go wrong at this place. Ive even gotten multiple friends addicted. Best coffee and atmosphere in Columbia!

I have never loved a coffee place more! I used to not be a huge coffee drinker, but I have come regularly since they opened and each time the staff has a wonderful recommendation (I do have a soft spot for the chai tea lattes). The building outside and in is always clean- and their bathrooms are nice as well. The staff is stellar, the atmosphere is relaxed and mixed with business people, to parents, to students, and they offer a lot of wonderful milk alternatives! I could NEVER say enough good things about this place- I would recommend to everyone.

This place has such a home feel to it. They coffee was delicious and you will not meet a cuter family than the owners Stan and Lindsey. They were so intentional to meet us and talk with us when we were in there and I will definitely be coming back.

This newly opened coffee shop is right down the street from where I work, and I can assure you it will become a regular coffee shop. A smaller location, but great for getting some coffee to go. Very good coffee for a very reasonable price.

This shop is easily my favorite. The owners are engaging with their customers. They care about what comes out of their coffee machines and how it tastes. The place is super clean, and really cozy. And PLENTY of outlets for my chargers.

Although we are no longer local to the Columbia area, piecewise is a must stop every time we visit! The owners and staff take such care of the costumers and always have the best suggestions to suit your coffee needs! The clean and inviting atmosphere make for the perfect place to work or meet up with friends! I’ve tried something different each time and have not been disappointed.

Had a very simple menu, but the items presented were of reasonable price and high quality. The shop also had a very attractive modern minimal aesthetic (think succulents) not found too often in Columbia. A cute, fun shop to visit!

If you are looking for an amazing coffee and atmosphere this local treasure is the place to be! So many wonderfully crafted coffees and even chocolate milk, amazing and friendly staff. This is the place where everyone could easily know your name if you go enough and you will definitely want too!

Great coffee iced or hot !

I was curious about this place after seeing all the great reviews, so I went in and ordered a coffee to go. Got outside, took a sip and had to literally spit out the coffee because it was so incredibly bitter. I dont know if it was bitter because the coffee was just sitting there for a long time or if the pot needed cleaning, but as far as first impressions go they have not made a good one.

Stan is very friendly and helpful explaining the various coffee options! He eemed knowledgeable and serious about his business. The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was quite an interesting mix of modern and antique. I will definitely be back for more!!

No greeting when entering. Only one carafe of coffee brewed. Staff was unclear if it was a dark, medium or light roast. I was offered a taste to see what I thought it was?? It has the capacity and uniqueness to be a great little neighborhood coffee shop. But itll never make it this way.

I started to stop by on my way to work during the pandemic to support locally... I will never go to starbucks if getting coffee at Piecewise is an option.THE best espresso is served at Piecewise. This is what an espresso drink should taste like. The baristas are kind, but I think most importantly, genuine.The environment is peaceful. That says a lot, since I can’t sit in their cafè at this time.Glad I found genuine people, serving great coffee. ❤️

I tried Piecewise Coffe Co. a few weeks ago and loved it! The drink menu is very simple but delicious. I had an iced caramel macchiato and a turkey and cheddar sandwich--both were amazing. We stayed a few hours working on things and it was definitely pretty busy around lunchtime. Overall, I loved the aesthetic and atmosphere. Ill definitely be back!
