Went for notary, was told he was not there and will be back the next day. Before going the next day I called and spoke with Tess, the manager- she confirmed with someone in the store that I can come by between 6 and 6:30. I drove there and was told by Evyn, the assistant manager that they stop doing notary at 6pm. I explained what I was told and it was disregarded because Evyn has a “store policy” and he had somewhere to be and needed to clean up before he left so NO he cannot help me. I was so disgusted by the lack of empathy! Also the other young man could never make eye contact and he has an attitude that does not belong in the front of a store. I was treated like my business was not welcome so I will never go back there. P.S the first time I got notary done- Evyn made a mistake on my form- maybe that should have told me not to go back.
Congrats, guys. Yall are slower than the DMV. Please triage the line so elderly folks (one ofwhom appeared disabled) dont need to socially distance in 95 degree heat. This is not a review of the employees, but of the managers that havent heard of triaging or dont empower their employees to enact it.There were 6 people ahead of me and 3 employees and it took me 30 min to get to the front. My transaction took about 1 minute. With 3 people and 2 registers, there should be 2 separate lines. USPS does this, and certain people are always saying how great it would be if USPS were privatized (news flash, it wouldnt).Use 1 line for simple package dropoffs, and the second line for the ones that require more work. Like the 1 with certified mail, and the other one not understanding how barcodes work (Im not joking). Its not rocket science.
Zero stars. I shipped an antique Howard Miller clock with UPS and it got completely destroyed. When I went in to pick it up, it was like a puzzle it was in so many pieces. Broken glass, shattered wood, completely separated in many pieces. When I asked for a refund/damages/insurance, I was told none of that applies as the clock was not packaged properly. I bubble wrapped the clock with UPS bubble wrap (you can see it in the pictures) and put it securely in the box. Not sure what UPS is expecting, but that seems like a reasonable approach. I can understand that a package may experience some damage in shipping, but this goes WAY beyond standard wear and tear. Someone would have had to have dropped this from a pretty good distance (maybe even a few times) in order to do the kind of damage that has been done to it. This is negligence and it is completely ridiculous of UPS to tell me that they are not responsible in any way.
This place is unique in that they are a combination of ignorance, unprofessionalism and poor customer service. The worst business in Cary.
There was a review by Avery H that was left that Id like to address. Ive interacted with Evyn plenty of times, and he has always been polite, and courteous. Evyn likes to take time to make sure things are done right the first time. I can understand the line being long because there isnt much space within the store, and due to COVID restrictions Im sure people are outside to ensure theyre social distancing. Any UPS Store this year has a long line, and it may take some time to get to the front of the line. But the employees at this store are great, and I will continue to go back. No one has the right no matter their level of experience to talk about someone like that.
If you need to ship something internationally do not use this store. They have no idea what they are doing. Aftwr spending way too long trying to find the address in their system I quickly confirmed on google maps they madetwo mistakes that ended up with our package returned. They pushed the blame to everyone else to get a refund (usps, ups international, ups corporate) but somehow they confirmation number they gave me doesnt show up in anyone system.
I never give one-star reviews. The owner needs to make a change. This use to be my go-to UPS store. However, my experience for the past two days in a row they only have one person working and both times he is spending an extreme amount of time wrapping items being shipped out. The first was a large suitcase someone was mailing. He took the time to tape MULTIPLE clear wrap and packing tape all over the suitcase - again it took at least 15 - 20 minutes and there was a line out of the door. I went there today and the same thing was happening where he was getting bubble wrap and starting on another project. I had to leave as I did not have the time to wait for these projects. Please hire another person that can mail out a prepared envelop.
This shops worker is terrible. I was on line waiting with a package keeping 6ft from one guy. Worker ignored me after guy before me is done with him and is leaving. I have to call him again and he was back with frown face. Terrible experience.
Amazing customer service, beats the quality I had at Starbucks by a mile. That Evyn dude sure can keep up with customers, and this is coming from a retail veteran. Keep up the great work.
Very dishonest manager! I took an Alexa product to the store to return on Monday. They scanned the QR code and then said I needed to purchase a box. I have many boxes so I said I would return with it in a box. I asked if I needed the shipping label they printed out. They said no that they would scan it whenever I returned.I returned wed and when they scanned it the QR code didnt work bc they had previously scanned it. The manager said I can just leave the box there and it will look like the Alexa was already shipped since they scanned the code on Monday. If they called he will say that I shipped it but meanwhile the Alexa is either sitting in their UPS store or one of them is using it. Seems like a very dishonest thing to do. I took my package with me and now have to deal with amazon to get another QR code.
We recently moved to the area to attend a local Grad School. Zyrell, Andrew, and David have been on point.I’ve printed hundreds of pages for reading, returned Amazon items and bought a die cast UPS Truck for my child. This place is personable and professional. Will keep coming back. They also offer DoD discount and it means a lot!
Needed a notary qualified to handle a will-related document (my bank couldnt do it) and this UPS was able to take care of it. The young woman did it quickly and politely.. great service.Btw, another customer was leaving as I went in and he seemed very happy (called out a hearty Thank You for the help!) with some computer-related thing the woman helped him with.
The UPS store #6423 is my go to mailing location in my area. Thank for your reliable, courteous and professional customer service. Special thanks to Evyn.
Went in to return an Amazon product and Keanu crushed it. Despite the understandable Christmas+Covid line, he got my return processed within minutes of getting inside!
Staff is always professional. Very efficient. Have been going to this location for the past 3-4 years. Even though I’ve moved a few miles away from the area; I drive out of my way to visit the Cornerstone location, for my packaging needs.
I wrote in big letters Leona Drive as part of shipping address on the box. However, employee printed label for Eleanor Street. Recipient had to reclaimed the package from unknown person who UPS incorrectly delivered the package to.Today, I went to tell employee about mistake he made. He was belligerent and unprofessional.Avoid this UPS store!
I use this store all the time for returns, mailing packages, scanning documents, etc. They are always helpful and polite and the store is spotless.
Nathan went beyond what was necessary. I will definitely go back!
Incompetence is the quickest way to sum up my two hour, three location attempt to overnight a letter (chain reaction caused by miserable employee & mediocre manager). For the sake of sanity, Ill avoid the trip advisor style story review. Best advice is avoid this store (several better nearby) and based on a call with corporate... perhaps all UPS. Im sticking with FedEx moving forward. Sometimes being informed, flexible, or willing to spend is still not enough to receive any kind of actual service as a customer.
Google and website says they open at 8am but actually it only opens at 830am which was a waste of my time. They need to update their time on their page. A couple other people went in at 8am and nobody was there. Frustrating to put it mildly. People have very busy lives so please don’t waste our time. Thank you.2nd star for fair customer service when it is actually open.Update (4/21/21)- better customer service and friendly staff but 3 stars for the timing of opening like I mentioned last year.
I have used this store on multiple occasions. Stuart has always provided outstanding customer service. Keep up the great work. I use their services frequently and they ALWAYS provide great service. Today, Colin went out of his way to help me. And what service was not available here, he directed me to another store that could provide the service...without me even asking him! Nathan, Thank you for your outstanding customer service.
I have visited this store twice and both times they have refused to return my package even though I was give an account number to charge for shipping. They told me I had to drive way across Raleigh to a UPS hub. Once they told me to track down a UPS driver and give it to the drive. When I asked if they could give it to an official UPS person, they told me NO and if I left the package with them, they would just trash it. Dont waste your time or energy with these people as they do not care about customer service.
Lost my package, and didnt pay the amount of insurance!, There making the post office look good !
Friendly and helpful service today.
This UPS Store is the absolute worst. First of all, the carrier in my area is too lazy to take my packages to the front office or storage locker area when I’m not home, they simply drop the packages at this UPS Store location. What an ordeal. They are so inconsistent at this store. Half of the time, I need no ID at all to pick up a package, just my slip left on the door. Other times, I’m usually in uniform, and they accept my government issued work ID to pick up my packages. Today takes the cake though. The manager, Yolanda, an extremely incompetent and socially awkward individual, refused to let me pick up my package with this ID. The same ID that allows me to breeze through security at any airport in the country without even a boarding pass, the same ID that allows me to cash a check at the bank or open an account - I couldn’t use to pick up a package containing a $12 pair of Nike shorts!? And what makes it even worse - is that she wouldn’t even really look at my ID, she half glanced at it hanging on a lanyard around my neck and said it wasn’t acceptable - company policy ... despite the fact that I’ve used it probably 10 other times in the past two months. So UPS company policy states that they can’t accept a picture ID issued by a government agency in order to pick up a package!?!? Wrong. This girl is obviously somewhat unintelligent. Just really terrible customer service. Rude, disrespectful and unapologetic - just insisted that it was policy to not accept my GOVERNMENT ISSUED WORK IDENTIFICATION. Pitiful. This woman should never be in a management position anywhere.
Was told they don’t have box for next day shipping. If I still want to mail my stuff, I have to pay for $5 for the box on top of my next day shipping charge. The person looks tiring and very rude, does not even bother to answer my question.Never come back to this place. Should I remind you that there are fedex and usps in town as well?
Best customer service. Will use them in future and recommend. I reached out to them for notory and they are very helpful.
If there is an option of giving a quarter or half star, I would gladly choose it .I have been going there because the distance, but the service always accompanied with attitude .
The smell of cigarette smoke within the store reminded me of a 90s bowling alley.
Horrible experience. These guys can lose the package. My critical documents and passports were supposed to be delivered to the embassy next day air. But to my horror, I found out that these guys held the package for 5 days before sending it to a local hub. The package is still with local UPS. Called UPS and all they had to tell me was the same information. Did not show any regrets or resolution of the matter. Instead gave me a number to call to register my complaint. Total lack of customer service.
Awesone folks and great customer service.Patient and eager to help; not too crowdedCan get print outs; on site notary.
From out of town, googled an open UPS store, arrived at 9:38 AM says it’s open but in fact it’s closed. !!!!! Disappointing
I need to ship something in a rush and the staff could not have been more helpful!
Should update times
