Usually go there if we are lazy to drive to Patel brothers. This store itself is decent but vegetables are not usually fresh. Food court is the worst. Samosas are good but rest of the stuff is meh. The guy at the checkout counter never wears mask properly. It’s always on his chin. Dude, it’s not chin diaper. Lot of parking outside. Meat shop is good. It’s little expensive but you know you get the right quantity of meat vs other places will skimp.

My unbiased opinion:Excellent place to shop for grocery and Indian herbs (they have the best collection). Spick and clean.I have a mixed opinion about the restaurant. What they are passing for Chicken Biryani should be given a different name. Maybe a chicken 65 pilaf laced with tamarind, food color, and a heap of spices. I have a very high tolerance for spices. But this particular dish gave me a burn both ways. The Goat gizzards was also something new. I guess it is a recipe of their own.The Staff: Very grim and focused on their work. Afraid to smile! And there is a gentleman who probably is the owner walks around looking at everything suspiciously. A little smile would go a long way for me to give a better rating.Restaurant: Please stick to known recipes. More spice doesnt always make the food very tasty.

Large Indian Grocer by far in Cary, Apex and Morrisville area. Very well organized with enough space to shop between the aisles. Much needed with new normal to hopefully follow social distancing by shoppers.I would still expect more variety in terms of items on shelves. But since they are new I would wait for weeks to settle them down.Overall good and much needed store for upscale West Cary and Green Level Church road.

They say the present halal meat, as I saw the whole checken whith no signs of Zabiha, its the whole checken with head.And I asked the guy that to see if its halal he looked like doesnt know what is halal meat.

The store is fine. Wide variety of stuff. But save yourself and your family because 80% of the store’s employees and 50% of the customers were unmasked. There is a mask mandate in Cary and breaking news pandemic is not over spice hut and hospitals are full - people are dying. Thanks but no thanks. Not coming here again!

Well, after visiting this place for more than 7-8 months, I can clearly say they are seriously overpriced.There are a number of Indian stores within 10 minutes of this one. The audacity to jack up prices, knowing we can get things at a lesser cost at those places, seriously amazes me.This one is nearest to my place (0.5 miles), still I am back to the old stores on the other side of NC55. You all need to get your house in order and specially get folks who are friendlier in nature (besides the one uncle on counter).

A great place to shop indian groceries. I went there on the opening day and found the place to be very spacious and full of various indian groceries as well as vegetables and fruits. A great addition to the neighborhood.

Great store with wide variety, spacious, clean. Food court offers great meals and snacks. Service is friendly and if we have to mention one employee that will be Mr. Vishvanath. He is multilingual and smilingly helpful, always!

Excellent place for Indian groceries and Food on GLC. Good selection, Convenient location, spacious and not crowded.Food court - very flavourful food but too spicy to eat. They could consider tampering down the spice level a notch so everyone can enjoy the food selection. Right now just a handful in Cary can dare! All said, the food was decent.

Last time when I visited this store the old man in the food court wasn’t wearing maskProperly and touching the food with hands. He serves very less food and stringent. I live close by this store. I informed the management but they doesn’t seem to care. Not hygiene and not worth for money.

One of my go to neighborhood Indian grocery stores. Has good collection of Indian spices and grains. Their in-house dining/take out food is also good.

This is for meat place review...pre packaged whole cut up chicken is full of bones...it used to be good. The quality has been going down...

I visited this store on weekend to order food. I ordered one chicken boneless Biriyani and tandoori chicken the quality of the food is worst and there is no chicken hardly two pieces for 12.99$ Remaining is full just rice which is tasteless. Tandoori we felt like we need to cook it again at home. Not worth buying food in the restaurant. And the grocery seems to be expensive then other stores nearby.

ZEROOO STARS .. DONT ORDER CATERING FROM DESI BITES.Ordered veg cutlet for catering two days in advance and on the day of pick up as I arrived at store I was told all to wait for 15 minutes . Then I was told some of them are broken, finally said none of them are good. Irresponsible store manager if you cannot do the job, at least dont promise it.

Pricey, bad food, not so fresh veges, disappointing!!On Friday evening I bought 4 different flavours of pastries from the bakery. I was told it was made fresh in house!!! But, Cakes were stale, it was hard, and the topping were gone bad. Moreover very little cake and rest was laden with icing. Also, all stuff are pricey compared to other Indian stores around. Onion bags are always rotten. I dont get any fresh veges here at all. Very disappointing.

Not worth for your Money!!!! Place and maintenance is good. Prices are very high compared to any Indian grocery or restaurants. Food is super expensive and quantity is very less. Definitely not worth. They don’t let you know the price on display TV. You always find the price difference in your bill.

This is the best local independently owned health food store in Santa Cruz county. They will have the best prices and you will be able to find the most unique hard to find items here as well. You will feel much better supporting a local company.

Person in the food court was not wearing the mask and gloves, food was terrible. People have already commented about the person not wearing the mask in food court but still they have not taken any action. Really bad !!

What is the point of a curry point if single serve chicken curry is 14$.

Good store but their prices are higher compared to similar big stores in the area. I’ve noticed their price is $0.50 or so higher in most items. Being a huge store management should try to be competitive.When they opened their price looked good but I have started noticing price increases in many items. I know cuz I buy the same stuff from different stores.If you want business to sustain for long term avoid increasing price. You can’t fool regular customers who buy the same stuff all the time. Otherwise I don’t mind driving another 7 mins to get it cheaper.

Convenient Location for west cary people. Huge selection of all items. Like the built in food court though the prices are on higher side. They could have used the drive through already there for quick pickups.

5 Month Update:Taking down 2 stars. Serious inventory management issues. Basic things like Vegetables, masala, yogurt etc are never stocked up or enough to cater to large customer base. And this happens every time. If I have to go to another store for veggies then can buy all groceries as well.Price difference on everything when compared to store on Davis Dr.—-Great opening day. Massive size and super clean and well organized. Lot of variety for everything as they have ton of space.Great food court and will be looking forward to full menu.Meat shop attached. Its a complete Grocery store in all sense.

This is the biggest Indian Grocery store in the area. You can get almost everything that you could think of Indian grocery item that you want. Rates are reasonable in comparison with your nearby Indian grocery stores.

Worst service ever. Long waiting lines. They don’t even care for customers who are waiting. Expensive prices compared to any other indian stores and restaurants.

Samosas are costlier then chapel hill store. It was not cooked properly. Food is not as good as chapel hill store. Groceries are also costlier. Only good about this store is that it is spacious.

Spices hut is one of the Carys greatest Indian grocery stores. That should tell you something!

The food court is a good location for nice indian food but like many other the management is horrible..dont understand why this is a common experience..they have veg, non-veg,snacks and pastry..the prices are high but worst part is the owner looking at each food tray as if everyone is hoarding them..the intent to nickel and dime each customer..i took a combo and they do not have any fixed packing and just put what they want. Dont understand why these people can never be customer centric..

Staff is very unfriendly and if you dont follow the pricing at cash counter you may be cheated. In my case the staff at checkout counter checket out 5 quantity of a product even though i bought just 1. Fortunately i checked my receipt in the car and went back for him to rectify. The staff had no feeling of doing a mistake. It was more looking like i made a mistake. Finally he agreed and refunded me for the extra products he had charged. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THE CASH COUNTER!

Much needed spacious Indian grocery store here in RTP Area. I hope they will maintain the cleaning and have items on stock. I went there today(less than 2 weeks from opening) and they were already out of many items.

Sale Prices for the products are not maintained during the billing, cash register will always try to charge you in full until you notice, this happened with me almost 4 times and they revert back to sale price when you notice.Also all the groceries are expensive comparatively.
