I will never go back to this place. I got it in because it happened to have a window with Dr. Altagracia Holler the next day. It was a mistake. Dr. Holler has this professional condescending attitude and skill. She probably does this condescending talking thing a lot, so she is really good at it. I think she is fine with her profession, but her tone, her way of ignoring questions, and treating me like air in the room were unbearable. Maybe I said something wrong and offended her. I am not sure. Well, I am not going to find out. Maybe someone else will have better luck, but why take the risk when there are plenty of good optometrists online with great reviews?
The worst costumer service. We ordered here 4 pair of glasses and sunglasses. It has been more than 1 month and they don’t give us one of the pairs that had something wrong. This pair was replaced 2 times and this the third one.Employees here are so rude and instead to apologize they are aggressive and say that they cannot do anything with this order. We prepaid the order and the treatments to the costumers is terrible 😤
I am very happy with my new eyewear.
2 weeks to get contacts in then 4 more weeks to get an appointment to pick them up. Poor communication - if they require an appointment to pick them up they should have told us and made the pick up appointment when they were ordered. 6 weeks of not being able to see is just wrong, especially when the contacts are right there but they won’t give them to us.
Beware, you will be told that the Bausch & Lomb contact lenses come with $100 rebate with a purchase of a year supply. This is not the case if youre expecting money back. You are awarded 1,000 reward points which allows you to choose from various gift cards. For me, this was not helpful and in no way offset my already thin expenses during this time. Staff is pleasant, but they should not mislead customers.
I was just 5 min late from the appointment even though I was outside taking urgent call, after I entered they asked me to reschedule the appointment, i had requested them to check if they can work on this time but they simply said no and due to which i am now going to look for another eye doctor as they weren’t flexible.Staff also didn’t find friendly.
I was a new patient today and received excellent customer service! Knowledgeable staff, very friendly, and enhanced cleaning protocol. They took my temperature, gave me a new mask, and filled out a questionnaire on any potential COVID exposure. Great first experience.
Taking your kid on a vacation with the wrong glasses because they screwed up twice in a row. What a mistake not to go to lenscrafters after the first mistake. My feelings might have been salvaged in anyone seemed to take it seriously. I got so many run arounds and someone will call me back. I did get a call back accompanied by what I assume was nervous giggling. Felt like a call from a middle Schooler not a manager. Nothing was offered to compensate for the difficulty. If you go and order transitions dont leave until you Confirm they are working because the lab is very forgetful about this detail. This is not just for looks some people need more uv protection of eyes. We were going to a particularly sunny place. It was hard to see! No one in the office suggested adding a clip on to help. Utterly not helpful. I really question whether they remembered to reorder the glasses the first time we went back to show them we didnt get what we paid for.
We have been visiting this Myeyedr branch last 5 years. Excellent customer service. They are very flexible schedules and has lot of patience. The Doctor is Awesome, she makes sure we get the best service. Our Special thanks to Mr.Preston, he is the best associate. He gives lot of good suggestions, friendly, very polite and well behaved person. We personally ask for his service. we really like the way he greets us every time, as he always exceeds our expectation. He really treats his patients like a King, reads our pulse and act accordingly. I am telling you guys they really really payback for every penny you spend.
The staff is so unprofessional and slow. Don’t waste your time or money.
The entire staff here is wonderful. They truly value their clients and go above and beyond to provide a welcoming experience. I really appreciated their patience during my contact fitting. Highly recommend this location.
Ive been going to this location since 2012. I am very happy with the service, location and ease with making appointments. Erin, Preston and Dr. Lopez have been there the entire time and are wonderful people. I will continue to refer people to this location.---Update 2021, still the best eye doctor in town. Dr. Lopez-Holler is very professional and excellent at what she does. Very professional and respectful staff and good selection of glasses. I went 1 week ago and my contacts were already delivered today! I would recommend 10 of 10
Ive bought 3+ pairs of glasses here and did all of my exams here for the last 5 years. I never had an issue with the staff or doctor. I have insurance and I felt the cost was reasonable for the frames and lenses. No one ignored me or tried to up-sell me. In fact, the woman who helped me pick out my new pair of frames was super nice and had several pairs ready for me to try when I was done with the exam. Not sure what all these people are complaining about.
Stuffs are extremely rude. Even dr also. Not recommending anyone to go over there.
They do not respect healthcare workers working to protect the health of the community. They will actively turn you away if you are a nurse or medical provider due to pandemic fears.
I switched from the Brier Creek location specifically for this locations staff and Doctor. They are truly amazing and caring. Dr. Lopez really takes the time to know her patients and gives it to you straight, which is a rare quality in medicine these days. Aly, who I believe is the office manager, just made my whole day with her infectious smile and energy. I can not recommend this establishment with higher regard to their staff. Pricing on glasses was reasonable and they worked with my insurance to see what all of my options were before moving forward with my personal selection of glasses/contacts.
I am more than pleased with my entire experience with this Eye Care Associates. I called on a Thursday to make an appointment and was able to get in that following Saturday. When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and had a constant smile on his face. I waited in the waiting area for about 10 minutes ( I was a few minutes early). I was then greeted by a friendly tech who took me into the work-up room and examined my eyes there. She was very friendly and polite and did her job efficiently. Once she was done I was asked to go into another room where she prepared the items for Dr. Lopez to come in and do my exam. Dr. Lopez was very friendly and talkative but did an excellent job. I decided I would like to try contacts at this visit, and she offered to put in the first pair as it was my very first time trying them. Once she got them in the girls up from assisted me in taking them out and putting them back in. They were more than patient with me as a beginner, which left me feeling very good about myself.I cant say enough about the staff and the cleanliness of the office. I had an over great experience at this office and will definitely be back next year for my yearly exam.Thank you Dr. Lopez & staff.
The optometrist is lovely and I trust her completely. All the staff members are great EXCEPT the technician who is efficient and competent but cold and unfriendly. My daughter and I have been there before and had the same experience with the technician. Because of her we will probably go elsewhere in future.
I will never go to this location again, rude, and have no respect for the client.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I will tell every person I know to not use the location I went to (crescent commons, NC). I have been waiting for over 3 weeks to get my glasses. I contacted them after the “promise date” and was told they were not in and they were not sure why but that they would look into it and get back to me. Few days later they call and tell me that they are going to expedite the shipping but that they are having trouble with where they are being shipped from, whatever that means?? I have not been kept in the loop and was extremely frustrated that I had to call to get that information. Good customer service would have been calling me before the “promise date” and updating on me what was happening. I am extremely upset to have waited this long and I should of chosen to go somewhere else, I’m looking to get a refund for this horrendous experience.
The doctor was good, got me a good contact lense prescription, and had good bedside manner. Aside from that, it was just one upsetting thing after another. It was difficult to make an appointment. I had to keep repeating my information, because the lady who took my call kept getting it wrong. The lady who took me back to the room first was horrible and rude, and gave me so much anxiety. Also, the waiting room was obnoxiously loud. They were also more expensive than any place Ive ever been, and charged me $50 more than what they quoted me on the phone. When I called them on it, I got the classic I dont know who told you that, but this is the cost. I purchased a year supply of contact lenses, which I was told I would receive in about three days. Its been almost two weeks, and I still havent received them, so all I have is the trial pair. I called to ask them where they are, and the lady on the phone said she doesnt know, but shell e-mail the front desk, and ask them to call me with a tracking number. I didnt want to drive all the way to Holly Springs, where I received excellent service the two times I was there, so I tried this place based on a recommendation. I do not recommend this place.
Staff is super friendly and responsive. I have had a great experience with this office.
It’s hot or cold when I go by any location abd ive been to 2 in Cary and more than once I’ve been in and stood around for five minutes and not one person said can I help you today. 👎🏻I went in today and got a warm greeting got help then passed off to another associate in the middle of getting help who then admits he’s not very good at this .I’ve had Multiple bad experiences here and have given them several different times to improve unfortunately it’s not gotten better. I’ll never go back .
I will never darken their doorstep again. Service is lousy. Can’t see out of the glasses either.
Was seen today by Dr. Lopez and had a great experience! She never made me feel guiltyAbout not changing my contacts like I should. She even said heres to a clean slate, for healthy eyes! It made me feel good knowing that she understood life just sometimes gets in the way of routine eye care. Staff was great, especially the tech who took photos of my eyes initially. I will return back to this location, even though its a 30 minute drive for me. Its worth it!
Mixed bag. Dr. Lopez has always been friendly, caring and professional, and I have never felt rushed through the exam. I would give her five stars. However, there is apparently constant turnover in the support staff, and that experience varies from one appointment to the next. I have been seen almost on time once or twice, and I have waited for up to 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment at other times.
Very bad experience! Its been a month since I have put my order for glasses! They dint even have the audacity to tell me the glasses i picked up are not in market! Had to go and change the frame again! They dont give anything on time! And they definitely dont pick up my calls! The doctor who tested my eyesight was also a bit rude to me I felt! I don’t recommend this to anyone
The service was great, no complaints there. But dont expect to get glasses right away. I was told 5-7 business days then all the sudden that turned into 10-12 business days..... A little frustrating to say the least. Hopefully they come in soon.
I was here with a friend who needed some new glasses. I asked the receptionist lots of questions even though I did not need glasses and they were very friendly, helpful and informative. The waiting room was nice. The technician that helped us was very professional and so was the doctor who helped us, Dr. Lopez. With the new prescription I helped my friend select glasses. They were ready a few days later and earlier than expected. No unnecessary tests were performed, prices were reasonable, and everyone here seemed to know what they were doing. We had a very good experience.
Ive been a patient at this location for several years. I am quite happy with my experience and service received. My daughters also go here and they have no complaints nor do I.
The staff has always been polite to me. I rarely have to wait, Dr. Lopez gets my prescription just right, and Erin never fails to help me find a pair of glasses that I love.
We love the doctor at this location and the staff is always so helpful and accommodating. Im awful at deciding what glasses I want and each time they are so patient, offer their opinions when I ask and answer all of our questions.
I had a good experience at my most recent visit. Note that they take COVID-19 precautions very, VERY seriously.
Maybe Im crazy, maybe I dont expect much, but have been coming here for a few years and have had a good experience. Not sure what the bad reviews are from. They are the eyeball people, I trust what they say and tell me I need. Ill be back again next year.
I stopped going here because the staff is so rude. My dad made appointments for everyone here, and I told the lady I wouldnt have come back here, if he hadntmadethe appt since they are so rude and they messed up my script when they wrote it into their file. Later my dad went to get his glasses, and he was there 10 min early (from when they open) and the rude receptionist yelled at him. It really reiterated what I had been saying all along. Needless to say he hasnt gone back either. I started going to the Eyecare center/MyEyeDr. next to Kohls on Walnut. Those guys are soooooo nice.
Doctor needs to work on her manners when she talks to her patients. It’s my 3rd visit there and the doctor was consistently rude.Ordered glasses for my son, have been waiting 2 weeks for them to arrive, never happened. The store apparently doesnt track whether or not the lab receives the orders, and instead just assumes and waits. Two weeks later, and I learn that the lab never received the complete order. Which should have been discovered (and corrected) 2-3 days after it was sent. Instead we are stuck waiting.Let’s just say - when working with patients’ eyesight this office needs to make sure that people get their glasses on time. And care more!
They have really improved this office. The staff are competent and caring. Much better customer focus than previous experiences!
I called to set up an appointment, and was on the phone for fifteen minutes. I was given an initial time and date for the appointment, then the receptionist told me it was actually unavailable (she told me five minutes after I had agreed to the date) and then was given a new time and date (on good friday), and then they called back and told me that there was no doctors available that day, and I needed to set up and new appointment. While in the process of picking a new date and time, the receptionist hung up on me. If this does not describe awful customer service, I dont know what does.
Our family loves Eye Care Associates, the selection, quality and professionalism of the staff is outstanding. I have a 3 year old that wears glasses and we have been very happy with how well they old up with a toddler. I have recommended them to my clients, family, and friends. - Ryan Mitcheltree, Neu Concepts
Worst experience ever. They will spend all of your money on vague elective screenings or up-sell you on every product that they peddle - you must watch your wallet. Buyer beware. Also, not one iota of customer service. They did not even put an ounce of effort into getting to know me as their patient. You are a statistic - and a slightly annoying, inconvenient statistic at that.Im out!
I was able to get an appointment initially on the same day, by the friendly reception young man, who gave me a brochure on costs, set me up with a card, and quoted me $145. When I came back before my appointment, the wait was 15 minutes after my appointment time, but I was okay with that. However, once I got into the office where the tech was getting ready to do the initial tests, I got the bait and switch. She told me that the cost would be $145 PLUS anywhere from $69 to $129 because I was a new patient, etc. I told her that I was quoted $145, I showed her the brochure, and she stuck to her guns. I told her that if this was their policy, and they werent trying to bait and switch customers, they needed to be told about the extra fees when making the appointment, not after having wasted all of this time. I walked away, and wont ever return to that particular office.
My family and I have used Dr. Lopez for years. She has always been kind, polite, professional and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Lopez.
THEY LOST MY GLASSES This was the worst experience I have had in 75 years of wearing glasses. took my $675.00 frames along with a new prescription for trifocals. When I picked them up I was not happy with the fit or the difficulty in getting used to trifocals. Returned in a few days and requested to have only progressive bifocals put in instead. They were still not right and I took them back to be adjusted. When I returned to pick them up I was told they do not have my glasses. They could not find them anywhere in the store and would call me if they came across them. Now I am out the $130.00. I paid for the new lenses, as well as the $675.00 frames. Plus, no new glasses. In the past I was always given the old lenses to use as back ups in case something happened to the new ones. MyEyeDr kept them. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only were they unhelpful, but they upheld both an attitude of disrespect and worse an assumption that I, the customer, did not know what I was talking about (I just wanted a new pair of glasses). AVOID
The customer service at this place was horrible! I go in there and they wanted me to self address my next appointment reminder card. Then they asked me to fill out all my information that I had filled out the last time I had an appointment. I asked then to use the info I had filled out previously that was in the system and they said I needed to just fill it out again. When I asked for my insurance their system suddenly were down. This place just wants the customer to do all the work for them. I told them I would come back when the system was up again. I then left and returned in 10 mins and was given the paperwork again and systems were still down. I started filling out the paperwork again and the lady calls me up to the counter to inform me that since I am now 15 mins late I would need to reschedule although the same people that were sitting and waiting the first time I walked were still waiting. That was their way of telling me they didnt like it that I asked they to do their job.
Excellent doctor - I have been going here for years.
Dr. Lopez and her team where excellent. Fast friendly service!!!
Super expensive and not helpful. Im not happy with the overpriced brand of contacts they decided I should have but to get a different brand they require you to pay for another appointment.
I visited here in 2008 and was treated like a second-class citizen. From the tech who was sizing me for glasses, and carried on conversations with other customers, ignoring me to address them... to Dr. Garcia (I think thats the right name) who was very callous and apathetic. The doctor always gave very short answers to my questions, not answering them completely, making me prod her tediously to learn what I needed to know.
$239 for contact eye exam. Rofl. Ill pass kthnxbye.
The doctor knows nothing about CRT glasses.
