I didnt like the frames my wife picked out for me. When the sales lady ask me if I liked my wifes selection I said no I dont like them. She then processed the order. When we went to pick them up the salesman asked me if I liked them. I said no I dont like them and basically ignored what I said. He ignored my comment sitting in front of their 100% satisfaction sign.I guess 100% satisfaction didnt cover I dont like these glasses.
This is the worse service possible. If i could return my glasses i would. No way to get in touch with the store, can’t schedule online and have heard nothing about my glasses. I had to drive to the store and pick them up and was given a sob story about them not having a phone etc. NOT MY PROBLEM. I’m a customer who was handed glasses and not allowed in the store and told i could go somewhere else to get them adjusted. Wow
After reading the reviews....I NOW KNOW WHY for the past three weeks and literally 27 phone calls later, I never ever had someone pick up the phone when I called. Anyone else notice the standard reply of “we’ll look into that.” If you can’t even answer a phone, then you’re egregiously understaffed and if so, you shouldn’t be open for business. Don’t reply with I’ll look into that.
My visit was a very unpleasant visit. The doctor could have cared less if I could see or not. He did no exam other than make me look into a device with a red barn in it. I went back for a follow up and he seemed to dismiss the fact I said my contacts were blurry. He then gave me another prescription with no follow up. The people that worked on the other side where the glasses were, they were very nice. I will never go back to Visionworks for the very reason they have a eye doctor there who seemed more into his cell phone then the patients. Therefore I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!
I went to your store wanting some lenses for a frame I purchased online. The first associate helped me, then he called his co- worker to help me. I gave him my prescription then he said my prescription isn’t right. He told me, it’s a prescription for using a computer. He then got on his cell phone to call his wife . So once he was finished talking to his wife. I told him I would like to setup an appointment to see a Optometrist. He told me, it might be better if I see the Optometrist that I frequently use, because I already have built a relationship. Also, when I looked around your store, there was a lady and a child frustrated, standing at the door waiting to get some help. And the first associate who I first encountered was helping someone else, but he told me he had to leave. I came to Visionworks to purchase some lenses and a new pair of glasses. I left your store with nothing. This was the worst shopping experience, and I will never shop here again.

I’ve been getting my glasses here for three years. I love that even three years later I can get the same great customer service from the same staff. They really know what they are doing and pay attention to the details. John is SUPER honest and always gives me a fair opinion on what looks best. He never tries to sell me things just to push up the cost.
Perfect service. They are all very pleasant to be around. The prices are very competitive and the atmosphere does not Express a sense of competition but rather a sense of comradery. Plus they possess an on-site optometrist who does magnificent work. Well worth the visit and I will return next year.
I just stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately assisted by one of the staff. My sons glasses got damaged by a classmate and our regular optometrists office isnt open on weekends. This place had so many positive reviews on Google that I thought Id give it a try. Service was extremely fast and efficient, and to top things off, the man did not charge me anything. I figured the least I can do for now is to write a positive review. Highly recommended, very nice place. Thank you.
Excellent service. Nate was very helpful in walking us through our insurance information and what the costs covered were. We greatly enjoyed the service, the conversation, and singing Christmas music in October!
My son developed an eye infection while at the beach, 3 and 1/2 hours from home. He could not wear his contacts and did not bring his glasses to the beach. Visionworks employees fit him in for an exam and glasses fitting. We were out with needed medicine and new glasses in 3 hours. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. Thank you Visionworks!

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced at a doctors office. When issues arise with insurance or otherwise staff should at least attempt to be helpful and courteous, regardless of who is at fault (doctor, insurance, etc). When told I would take my business elsewhere the doctor at the practice argued the issue of fault for the problem. The problem is not what will stop me from returning, but the time wasted due to incompetent and rude staff sure will.

Just a casual walk in looking to get glasses and the lady helped find glasses that fit me better than my current glasses. She was super helpful, patient, while i had to call my mom for the vision plan. I got my glasses the next day. Would recommend this place!
I wish they could replace 2 old unfriendly staff with younger ones.

Limited selection of eyewear, and extremely long wait times. This store is always understaffed which is incredibly tiring. I waited 45 min for a glass adjustment. Smh

Sleazy Salesman alert: Good Collection of eye wear. However the elderly gentleman who was selling me my eyeglasses (I am guessing he doubled up as an optometrist and salesperson) tried to bully me into spending more than what was covered by insurance. He was evasive about exactly what was covered under my insurance plan and I had to ask the same question multiple times to get straight answers from him. I also had to get him to redo the billing because he added upgrades to my eye-wear that I had not asked for in the first place. There is a difference between providing useful information and forcing unwanted advice on customers. He did not seem to understand the difference between the two. Needless to say, he did not succeed in getting me to sign up for the upgrades. A word of advice to the owner - selecting sales personnel who know basic etiquette is going to help your business more than someone with a questionable approach to dealing with customers.
John at the Cary Town Center Mall at Vision works was absolutely a lifesaver today! My glasses were broken BAD! John did his very best to help me temporarily until I could get my prescription and come back for the B1G1 sale! The fact that he even was trying was better than what Lenscrafters did! John shows compassion and I genuinely felt he did everything above and beyond! Thank you John! Now one more thanks goes to the Lady whom I totally forgot to ask her name! HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I never even received acknowledgement as a customer!! I came here on 12/4/16 (today) literally drove 30 minutes to get here in order to try and purchase a pair of glasses for my son and myself as well as contacts. As soon as I walked in, the female with blonde hair and glasses was immediately rude saying we will be with you when we can with an attitude. I hadnt even asked to be helped yet. If there was an option for a no star in would have opted for that! The male was a little nicer so I stuck around for another 30 minutes waiting. Finally, I asked him if it would be better if we came back in about 20 minutes and hopefully by then there wouldnt be as many people. So once again we return and the female doesnt even bother to speak. It was almost as if she was intentionally ignoring us. The male finally approaches us and I told him I had my insurance card, while Im getting it out my purse to give it to him he walks away and helps a brand new set of customers that just walk in eventhough he knew we had stuck around waiting for over an hour to just get service! As a health care provider myself I find it extremely unprofessional and rude to treat clients like this! Definitely will not be returning and definitely will let everyone else I know about this experience. Stay away!

Extremely unprofessional. I was not greeted as a customer and when I did ask about my appointment, the lady that answered me was walking away from me as she was telling me that the doctors office didnt open until 1. I had an appointment at 1 at which the doctor didnt arrive until 1:20pm. The desk clerks didnt open until 1:15pm due to them going out for lunch. Lastly, I was quoted $40 more than what I was told when I originally booked the appointment. High dissatisfied. Cancelled my appointment and WILL NOT be returning.
