I have bought at least 8 mattresses from Mattress Firm over the last 4 years for myself or for family members, most of them from the Cary, NC store.Tobey was a pleasure to work with yesterday. He was very helpful in helping me find the mattress I needed. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I feel comfortable about referring friends and family to work with Tobey.

Our experience with Steve at the Mattress store was very pleasing. I told Steve what I wanted and he showed me several choices in them, pointing out the differences in construction. After trying some out for feel and fixture I picked 2 and then made my final selection. It was a pleasant experience and I paid for it and scheduled delivery. Good job! Alice

Just order online. They dont actually have the beds in stock, so you have to wait for delivery anyways, also the deals that they have in store are more expensive than the online prices daily. We paid 50% off for a bed, only to look it up online later and see that the same bed from mattress firm online was cheaper than the discounted price at the store AND would have the same delivery window.Will order from Amazon next time. We wanted to be able to actually feel what the bed would be like, but ultimately I wish we had just ordered online. It wouldve been cheaper, arrived at the same time, and wouldnt have had to deal with the delivery folk who didnt want to come up to our apartment (they parked on the street and wanted us to carry everything from the road to our apartment). The customer service was good but the small benefit of getting to see what we were buying ultimately wasnt worth it, especially with the return policy. On Amazon, if something is wrong or you dont like the bed, you return it and they send you another, give you a credit, or allow you to replace with a different brand. Here, its $100 cleaning fee and 20% restocking fee if for any reason you dont like whats delivered. The frames are way overpriced and again, not in stock. Theres no benefit to going in store, just go online.

Worked with Tobey, he helped me pick out mattress, box spring, and frame for guest bedroom. We then looked at sheet bundles and he helped me again with recommendations. I asked about cooling pillows and great recommendations for those as well. I purchased bed, sheet bundle, new pillow for my bed and am considering a new base for my main bed. He certainly listened to the boss, my wife, about what she did and did not like about our current mattress. He then went through a wonderful process of testing different mattresses until we found that diamond in the rough. We certainly had the best man for the job with Matthew! Salesperson was same fella who helped me buy my mattress last week as we looked for a box spring to compliment it. He was great but be cautious when you look on their website of inventory. We specifically went to this store because the box spring was listed as onsite. It was not available on site but had to drive 20 min to pick up at warehouse. So this added a lot of time to the process, if I knew it wasn’t on-site woulda just got online and shipped

Steve - the manager was extremely helpful in helping us choose the perfect mattress. They have a good collection there with loads of different offers. Service was prompt and polite.

Who doesnt like trying out new beds. I am not one to write a review but I had a great experience at Mattress Firm. Our sales man Tobey made our experience great. Hes no pressure and extremely a relatable guy. We have a rambunctious 9 year old and he was great with him also. We came into Mattress Firm because we had had it with our old mattress. I don’t normally like dealing with sales people as they can be pushy and I just wanted to find something I liked without the pressure. Matt helped us out and he was the best sales person! So patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. He didn’t make me feel like I was dealing with a sales person at all. No pressure and he showed us what we were looking for as well as other options that were within our price range. I really enjoyed working with him. Matt was awesome! The beds I wanted were not going to be available for a month and he showed me beds for more money and to be fair, less money and explained how each differed from my choice. He was knowledgeable of all products, extremely helpful and was able to arrange a home set up, even during these times! And the free pillows and mattress protectors were an extra bonus!

The associate working on the Saturday before Labor Day was very helpful. He was not pushy and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted testing out the beds. He was professional and respectful of our budget. He was informed about Labor Day deals. We were able to set up for delivery only 2 days later. The men who delivered were also professional and friendly. Overall, the entire experience was great! We’ll be back next time we need a mattress!

My fiancé and I were in the process of preparing our first home for when we get married. Neither of us had ever shopped for a mattress before so we weren’t really sure what we were looking for. I haven’t have very good luck mattress hunting, but when I went in to Mattress Firm today I was greeted by a lovely man name Matt. He asked us a few questions about why we came in and our sleeping habits. We knew we wanted a plush mattress but Matt helped us find one that felt so comfy when we tried it out. He found us the best deal and we had some great conversations while we found our new mattress. Overall, I had and amazing experience shopping at Mattress Firm with Matt the Mattress man. Super impressed. Walked in, had sticker shock but Matt put me right at ease. He made the process of choosing what it was we were looking for quite simple for us. Staff is incredibly warm, knowledgeable, non-judgmental and professional-yet personal. Even though this penny-pincher jumped before I learned better, we were able to find good value, stay within our budget and feel great about our purchase. We had a great experience shopping for a bed and Colin was amazing. Ask for Colin, (I highly recommend him) he travels to different stores but his base store is the Garsesner location. He took time with us over the phone and there was no bait and switch when we came to see him at the Cary store in person. It was truly a good experience. Mattress Firm in Cary, NC was wonderful! Mason helped us a lot to find a queen mattress that fit our needs. The one we got was in stock and we we’re able to take it home that day! The mattresses are a bit on the expensive side but they have cheap ones too to fit any budget. Highly recommend for all things bedding.

The sales staff at the store in Cary gets 5 stars, yes. But - their delivery crew is the pits. Rude, dont listen, scratched my furniture and after all that - did not give me my mattress even after their supervisor said to! Horrible service by the delivery fella. Defeats the sales reps energy to go to the trouble to make a sale for the delivery guy to lose it. I cancelled my order because ive not experienced worse delivery service than i have with Matress Firm. Ill be buying my matress online somewhere else now...

We went to the Cary, NC store and we were incredibly impressed with Kenny G!!! He was thorough, patient, nice, and managed to juggle quite a few customers by himself. We will definitely be back to him for any future mattress needs. Give that boy a raise!

Colin will hook you up! Had to re outfit our beach house after hurricanes destroyed it all. He got it all wrapped up in less than 30 minutes. Mattress, box springs, shipping everything. Pricing was well under what we were expecting!

Our family and best friend went in to purchase a bed for our home. The gentleman that helped us was great. We purchased a bed and even talked our friend into a purchase. Great day for the sales people. Our friend was told that he didnt qualify for financing by the female sales associate and ended up scared to death that his identity was stolen. His credit was 855 when we checked later that evening. He paid for house bed in cash. Not ideal for him but ok.We paid our bill up front with a check card. We confirmed it by logging into our account. Mattress firms computer system errored out and because of that we werent able to setup delivery until the following Monday when their IT dept could look into the issue. Our friend received his bed the next day. We are still waiting.Granted it was July 4th weekend but I would think that a large company like mattress firm would staff IT to help in a busy weekend that they are having sales on.I have no doubt that the beds will be great so this review is truly only a poor reflection on mattress firms corporate limitations. Our sales guy Gavin was great!

We went here to try out a few variations of the Purple mattresses. Colin was a great help, and not pushy (something we always worry about when going to stores with sales staff). He even proactively offered us a better deal than we could find online. I firmly believe if youre looking to buy something as expensive, personal, and important as a mattress, you need to try it in person - and this mattress firm location is a great low-pressure place to do so.
