Was in a bind and needed new 8x9 doors fast! Boy were these these guys were able to deliver! Called on Friday evening and had the new doors installed by Tuesday. Prompt and professional! I would definitely refer these guys to my friends! Will post more doors when the construction is complete.

Door quality was good. The installation was poor. Originally required a follow up due to sloppy installation. One year later the main bracket is hanging off because it was screwed into drywall only. Dangerous and hanging over my cars. Who would do that? They had to know when they screwed those into the wall there was nothing but drywall. Tried to call but couldn’t get through. Fixed it myself and right this time! Hard to believe.Updated on 9/24 - I have yet to receive a call back from Overhead Door despite leaving multiple messages. I spent over $2k on this door. Look at the quality of work their installers do. I would not have slammed them if they at least made an attempt to correct. But they elected to ignore their customer.Update: The owner did follow up with me and sent someone out to check my repairs and tighten things etc.

After explanation of problem with gate repair needed.... CAN you REPAIR ... YES we can repair... sent someone out for $150 to tell me they can not repair and recommended circuit board replacement... which MAY not fix.... I should also replace the actuator arm for a complete installation $5,000 + They generously OFFERED a refund of the service call fee... OFFERED.... not refunded. been about 5 months... contacted always an oversite... and will be forthcoming... DONT expect any REPAIRS... just new installation.. at best... If anyone as had a successful REPAIR of existing equipment please post.

Brand new home, in for a week, and have had nothing but trouble with my main 2-door garage doors ability to open, it looks like its trying to twist itself off. The builder called them, and then they called me to make an appointment, made it for a Monday, which they canceled a few days later on late Friday afternoon since nobody would be in the area. So I called a repair place to look at it on Saturday, and like another reviewer indicated, most materials were good but it was a bad install, biggest factor being they only used a .5 HP motor on a really heavy door which likely caused the rails belt to slip, added to that was their missing or only partially hitting a stud which was causing the rail to twist, didnt use lock washers where needed, misaligned the bar that goes from door to the rail, and the perimeter seal wasnt flush with opening, so the railings are as far back as they can go but the door still hits up against them too tight. My other one-car garage door was done correctly, wish that person had installed both. The repair guy fixed what he could, putting a steel backing where the rail meets the wall seems to have helped a lot, its not twisting anymore, now left hoping this company or my builder/warranty makes the other things right. So much time wasted due to a bad install and trying to get away with using an underpowered motor.

I have been in my newly built HH for about 25-26 months and we have had not one, but TWO springs break on us within the past two years (single garage doors). I understand the warranty side of things with our builder, so this isnt on HH, but yall, theres no realistic reason as to how springs could break. We were asked if we had pool supplies in our garage, but we definitely dont. Overhead Door Company failed to admit this was a fault on their part. We had 3 different garage companies come out to tell us that its nearly impossible for a spring to break because theyre supposed to last up to 10 years! I hope you have a better experience with these guys.

Needed replacement parts for a 50+ year old system. They pulled up part number and provided it within minutes. Not many companies can do that today. Will use again for future projects.

Came out this morning to fix my garage. Yesterday the door would only open about 3 inches and would not go up the rest of the way. They sent someone out this morning. I think his name was Wyatt or wit maybe? He was wonderful, showed up on time, and answered all of my questions. Turns out it worked this morning and he said the weather can make it be temperamental. Made a small adjustment and said it shouldn’t happen again, but to call them if it did. I will absolutely be calling them for any future problems! Thank you!!

Coming quickly after initial call. but charged more after the work is done. also has bad attitude after I missed their call for payment. will not use them in the future.This is something I want to add after the business owner responded:I never attempted not to paying them, but they were assuming I am not going to pay them and starting being very rude. I was just asking for the reason of getting different bills from the original quote. but they did not want to listen to me at all, but asking for payment immediately. Never never going to work with people so rude .

In desperate need of a new garage door, I price several companies but prices were more than I could afford and had to be ordered. I could not expect an installation for up to 4 weeks. I called Overhead Doors of Dallas - Residential and was given a price. I asked where they were located so I could see the door in advance and was given the address. My wife and I went and were quoted the same price. The door was exactly what I was looking for. Furthermore, they could install within a week. We bought the door and two days later Santiago, the serviceman came and installed the door. He was efficient and fast. The door was everything I wanted and needed and then some.

Since this company has merged, This company has become very lacks on follow ups assigned call out times. I have decided to no longer do business with this company.

We are lucky that we found this company. They are very responsive and quick. We like the fact that they have all of the spare parts when they come.Some of the younger employees are extremely fast however not very detailed. The guarantee repairs are very efficient! I highly recommend them.

Overhead Door is the company that installed and warranties the garage doors on my newly constructed TX home, and Im not impressed with this company at all. I waited all day and they missed my service call - was told later that the guy forgot to come to my house when he was on the same street for a neighbor. Every time I call, the rep for my area never returns my call. I usually give him a reasonable two days and then I have to call again. Just extremely poor communication between employees and also with their customers. Very frustrating reoccurring experiences so far.Update 1/6/2020 after seeing owner response. Yes I am indeed your customer. For privacy I simply choose not to post my personal name all over the internet for everyone to see. I purchased my home through Altura Homes and I had to go through them for all my service calls. My one year home warranty has now passed and after many service calls prior to expiration I finally got my issue resolved.

Customer service was very helpful in making a selection for a replacement opener and the installer was thorough and efficient. Very happy with our new quiet opener!

This company is certainly not customer focused. I had an insurance claim last year. Had to have my 3 car garage doors replaced due to the hail storm last March. I have a custom built home. They repaced wood door trim with plastic trim, absolutely poor workmanship. Response was thats the way we do it. Totally unacceptable! Finally got insurance company and contractor to resolve it, needless to say it wasnt Overhead door in Dallas. Then we saw gaps on the two car side, it appears the doors were out of alignment. Overhead door sent the original installer out and he corrected the misalignment. Recently, I had a home inspection, the auto reverse of the door was not working properly. During the original install process the had to adjust the the up and down because the door wasnt closing properly. I called the contractor back, he called Overhead door Dallas back. Their response, its the motor etc... .they did not install it they dont adjust it. Kind of funny they made an adjustment on the door not closing properly, it was working fine until then??Do yourself a favor avoid this company at all cost!!!Amendment to above: I received a call from overhead door V.P. I sent copies of emails and pictures of my concerns listed in the previous post. He assured me that he would take care of the customer focused issues I addressed.

Arrived promptly. Diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Serviceman was very courteous and professional. I would certainly use Overhead Door again.

High grade products nice people

The rudest staff I have dealt with yet. Attitude and approach go a long way esp with a possible new customer. Wasn’t expecting this experience and was hoping to work with them, but can’t with a good heart give money to a company that doesn’t care how they treat their customers on day 1 let alone further into the process. Then to call me back and chastise further is completely inappropriate. I will be telling everyone I know to work with anyone else.
