Very cute and charming spot deep in the heart of old downtown Carrollton square.I ordered the “bees knees” and it was warm, delicious and it really hit the spot on a chilly day.The service was fantastic and the staff was very helpful in helping describe the menu.I will certainly revisit Lemma and highly recommend it to any coffee lover in the Dallas area.

I felt so betrayed that it took only 5 minutes to walk from my house and I didnt realize they existed even though I lived in this area for 2 years now.One of my friends told me about this coffee shop and thank God she saved the rest of my life. It was kind of dark outside so I didnt realize it was quite a space inside that I could enjoy the coffee. They provided a free mask for us since we forgot the mask.All the employees were nice and they know how to make the best latter ever. She even draws me a cute heart shape plant on my latte. I was so touched by it. It was the cutest thing ever. Im going to stop by here often!! Thank you for your service :)

Yummy coffee, delicious sandwich, guy behind the counter was very nice. I like how open the space is inside, my only complaint is that the chairs could be more comfortable. But honestly the food & coffee was delicious and thats why I stopped in, so I definitely recommend. Will be back whenever Im in Carrollton.

Im somewhat of a purist when it comes to my espresso drinks. I usually want it plain, bold, and black like my soul. But I definitely appreciate the nuances and balance of bitterness, acidity, and sweetness that you get from the roast and brew method. Lemma Roasters definitely knows what theyre doing with their beans. Service is always warm and friendly. Very happy that I can call this place my neighborhood cafe.Tried two specialty coff-tails: one had evaporated milk (sweeter version of Vietnamese coffee); the other had charcoal and orange syrup (see photo). Both were 😘🤌🏼

Very cool place. Good coffee, cortado that I ordered was served in a glass. Finally, because for me the italian style coffee does not taste the same from a paper cup.

Ive been going to Lemma for over two years and they always provide consistent results. The coffee is high quality and brewed well, and the pastries are delicious. To top things off, the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I come here for coffee all the time- it’s so good! All of the employees are very good behind the espresso machine and they are also consistently good. They do have a small food menu of pasties, toasts with toppings, and sandwiches. I’ve only tried the toast with Nutella and strawberries- which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Pumpkin spice latte was all foam and nutmeg, very little coffee or pumpkin spice flavor. Normally the drinks are amazing so I only took away one star.

Ordered online on their website for pickup during lunchtime. Parking was a bit far but not too bad. As for the food/drinks, I had the turkey sandwich with spicy mayo and oat milk cold brew with caramel. Both were so good! Drink came in plastic cup but was made in the USA and is recyclable. Sandwich came in paper carton--also recyclable! No plastic bag, thank you! Food was ready when I got there, a little bit before the scheduled time for pickup. Overall wonderful experience. I will be back!!!

Best coffee in dallas! I am originally from Portland, Oregon and I love my coffee. Ive been in Dallas for 2 years and so far this is the only place that makes coffee that comes close to what Im used to drinking in Portland. I bought a bag of the Homestead Espresso roast and I am 100% here for it. Keep at the great roasting, you will be seeing me many more times!!!!

Wonderful small coffee place. I ordered a hot chocolate, a turkey sandwich, and a watermelon mint soda. They were all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks came out quickly. The place where they make the coffee is an open counter area so one can watch them prepare the coffee.

Lemma Coffee Co has become a part of my DAILY wfh routine and I could not recommend this shop more. Typically I am skeptical of coffee shops that try to also include a food menu, since some shops spread their expertise thin, but Lemma’s crew knocks the menu out of the park and everything I’ve tried has been outstanding. Their coffee is the absolute highlight - during colder days I go with a simple drip and during warm days I go with a refreshing cold brew. The staff is knowledgeable about the roasting process and always has great recommendations. Keep killin it Lemma!!!

We were in a rush between one kids soccer game and the next, so we thought ordering a normal cup of brewed coffee would save us some time. Nope. This is a coffee shop that runs out of brewed coffee. More expensive than Starbucks, less convenient than 711. Skip it.

Had the banana cream cheese toast which tasted fantastic. Also had the chai, which was a little weak to me but I like really strong chai so that was my fault for not remembering that up front. Regardless, it tasted pretty yummy! Customer service was great. Both ladies working were friendly and full of smiles. The atmosphere was very welcoming and chill. The restrooms are shared with the rest of the building and they were clean. Definitely will visit again!!

Went there for the first time today and had a great experience! They were super friendly and they used a martini shaker to make the soft top for my cold brew. It was a cool twist haha!

I’ve been coming ever since I started a new job in the area around a year ago. It’s been a good experience every time! Love the avocado toast and the Bees Knees. Their merch is also very nice - will hope to buy something one day!

Saw that they were roasting here, went in required requested a sample, was looked at as if as if I was speaking a foreign language, finally was offered offered a sample, was given was given half a sip of coffee. The barista was ackward. Thankfully another guy working there helped me out. Bought a bag. Lets see if its any good

Surprisingly good. Unique lattes and good drip coffee. We had the Elvis toast and the bread was homemade goodness. Want to go back and try other items.

I had a cappuccino, a drip coffee, avocado toast and my 10 year old had an egg and cheese taco with hot chocolate. Both types of coffees I ordered had a strong, sour after taste. I guess thats the flavor of their bean. I was not fond of the flavor. The items listed on the board/menu dont specify that there are other ingredients in the tacos. I ordered an egg and cheese taco. It came with guacamole and pico and it had no cheese. Also, they forgot our tacos so we had to wait a while after the other items were served to have the tacos.The avocado toast was okay. Be specific about how you want your egg if you order it with an egg on top. My 10 yr old said her hot chocolate was good and her taco was pretty good, but we would have liked to know that all the other items would be on an egg and cheese taco. The venue was quiet and very clean which I appreciated, but I think our experience could have been better.

Yall!!! I found myself a little gem! Ok, so I was a big Starbucks junkie. A friend recommended this place, and as a faithful Starbucks addict - I was hesitant. But when my coworker offered to pay for my coffee, I was like meh, have nothing to lose. WELL. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. dang coffee is delicious. Like really good, want some more, give me another cup, what just happened, Starbucks who GOOD. ;) They did ruin my taste buds though. Starbucks doesnt taste quite the same anymore. Any who, grab you a cup of Joe at this little gem. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. ;)

What a beautiful little coffee shop, with DELICIOUS food and free internet! The cafe is set up for social distancing, requires a mask, and has readily available hand sanatizer. The food is fresh and easily customizable. The avocado toast was fantastic (I added a sunny side up egg) and the fresh brewed ice tea was the best Ive had in a long time! Highly recommended supporting this local business!

Everything we tried here was absolutely delicious. The Citrus Goth drink was 10/10. Americano was smooth. We also bought snacks and thicc avocado toast. So good. We snagged some coffee beans too. Let me say: WORTH EVERY PENNY. The coffee brews so creamy and smooth at home. Im addicted!

Stopped in this morning and tried their flash brew and cucumber sandwich. Both were excellent. Space is simple, clean, and relaxing. Nice photography on the walls. Bought some whole beans to take home and brewed some this afternoon-real tasty (not too acidic).Good pandemic safety as well 👏I definitely recommend stopping by if youre in the area.Cyclists: There are some light poles and metal benches outside you can lock your bike to and are in sight from the window seats.

Not sure if it was because it was an espresso or not, but the beans i got made some really really bitter borderline undrinkable coffee. tried out several other beans with the same amount of coffee, water, and water temp with much better results too.other than that, super interesting place in a cool location with great prices and service!

Great little shop, I love how this place looks. Customer service was great! I got my coffee quickly, and it tasted very good. Only complaint is there are no couches for seating, which is only a minor thing. Everything else is great!

My daughter and I frequently visit downtown Carrollton. It’s become our favorite spot to hangout, and we just stumbled upon this coffee shop last night. Very pleasantly surprised. Just get some more seats y’all because you’ll need them. We’ve needed a coffee shop like this.

Coffee taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐Their coffee is very consistent. I like their cortado to taste their espresso with some smoothness of milk.Interior ⭐⭐⭐⭐Inside is very neat and simple, which I like a lot. The seating is a bit limited since the space itself is not big. But they are not clustered since they have a good open space without much of blocking views.

The store has a good view and professional baristas.

Lucky find for us visiting from Houston on a day trip. Latte was amazing- rich, right amount of foam. Perfect start to the morning. Oh you’ve got to try the Pumpkin muffin

Coffee prepared in shop is wonderful. I am a big fan of the seasonal cold brews they come up with. Sandwiches are also a delight.If you are looking for some coffee to make at home or in the office I would recommend picking up some to go. Jorge Rojas- Colombia is one of my favorites to cold brew at the house.

A little expensive for what it is.I ordered an Iced Caramel Latte with Oatmilk, about $8 and it was a lot on the bitter, sour side. I tried to force it down cause I spent almost $10 on it but it was really sour and unsettled my stomach right after drinking it. I dont know if it was the coffee or maybe the oatmilk was spoiled but it was really bitter to be an caramel latte.My boyfriend ordered an Americano and he said hes tasted alright. Very pleasant little shop with some seats in the tiny space. Im going to give it 3 stars since it unsettled my stomach but my boyfriend enjoyed it and they were friendly enough.

Not overly impressed. Having worked in the coffee industry for 12 years, I can’t relate to baristas who come off as rude or know-it-all’s. They’re job is customer service. I ordered a matcha, but received a matcha latte, not what I ordered. However, the barista was too rude to try and deal with so I took my drink and left; never to return.

Modern, cozy coffee shop in a great location with awesome coffee, fresh, same day pastries, and an excellent staff. Maya was so kind and helped me pick great coffee. This is a must go for any coffee enthusiast in Dallas.

If you have not yet been to the best coffee house in North Texas then you are missing out! They just opened their new location in the Carrollton Town Square. Their locally roasted coffee is beyond any you have experienced so far, and they have a beautiful menu of wonderful food too. Soon they will be roasting the beans in house so how could you possibly stay away!! Pop in to say hello and enjoy the atmosphere or just stop by for your morning cup on your way to work. Just don’t let this gem stay off your radar for too long!

This is such a good place. I wish they had more branches in the Dallas area. They roast their beans here, which is great. And an awesome atmosphere.

The Lemma Carrollton location is clean and bright. The staff has always been friendly and the coffee is excellent! The offer a variety of non-dairy options which I love and their coffee is roasted in house so it is always super fresh. I like stopping there on my way to work in Dallas.

The coffee was flavorful and well roasted. We were pleasantly surprised by how much food the offered and that it was quite delicious. We purchased their locally roasted beans and enjoyed those for our home brewing. Parking is always tough in downtown Carrollton but this place is worth it.

I recently moved to downtown Carrollton and was pleasantly surprised when I found this small gem. The FOOD is amazing. The Brisket BBQ breakfast sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had. The coffee is good too. This place has some friendly staff and great ambiance. Check it out!

I was looking for a supreme coffee that I could enjoy in my press. I google coffee roasters in the area and tho somewhat difficult to locate using google I was very happy I did. I met Daniel who allowed me to smell the different roasted beans. Tho not a retail store he allowed me to purchase a small quantity. I chose the Ethiopian bean and Daniel even ground it for me.Daniel was engaging and polite.Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Nearly cried tears of joy when I drank the first lavender latte. Its my regular drink order now! My very first drink was the seasonal horchata drink, which I also enjoyed. I got a free cup of coffee when I bought a bag of their beans and I drank it black. The flavor notes were delightful! All the staff is consistently friendly and helpful and I love the downtown Carrollton location. A VERY welcome addition to the north Dallas coffee scene.

They have a little shop at my school, UT Dallas. I pay close $5 for a cup then I have to wait 20 min while the two workers scramble around trying to keep up with the line. Its a good place, I just hope they either hire more staff or lower the prices at the utd store.

Lots of variety for coffee options and they have some excellent looking breakfast choices as well.

Small third wave coffee shop. There were two espresso choices, the Ethiopian was top notch.The baristas were great and brought the coffee to my table.

Wonderful experience stopping by Lemma...although I found out they typically dont sell retail at their roasting facility (although you can pick up on-line orders there), they went out of their way to make sure I had something to take home. They roast daily for the orders that were placed the day before and any wholesale orders so that they can make sure and have only the freshest coffee to sell - I totally get that and love that they arent roasting a bunch of coffee that sits on the shelf for days/weeks.Went home with some San Antonio Guatemala and the description fit it perfectly. Overall very pleased - support a local company and have as good or better coffee that you can get anywhere else.Note - its a little tough to find. They are located in a group of industrial buildings, just a little off of the main street. Logo is on the door, so if you pull in and drive around the various buildings, youll find it.

Daniel and the folks at Lemma Coffee Roasters the quality humans you can’t help but root for. Also, the coffee is top notch! Bought a bag of “Finca Tasta Peru” and have had it on repeat ever since. Keep It up, Lemma.

Lemma tell ya... coffee here is pure perfection. I started with a Cortado (espresso with flat milk), just to see how good these guys are. Very very very good! Next, I ordered an avocado toast and the helpful barista suggested I add an egg to it. Nirvana!
