Since they moved to the mansion the aesthetics of their restaurant has changed. The food is still as good and the coffee is even better. The place now has a sense of locality if that makes any sense.

This is a nice spot to visit. We buy our coffee beans here (which is amazing). We stopped to eat and had a burger that was really good. Nice friendly laid back environment. They have live music and a little shop to browse.

I really like the coffee at this place. They do different varieties every time, fresh ground. I have seen this place getting steadily busier on Saturdays, guess the secret is getting out. Honestly, I dont think its in a great location but its getting a wide clientele based on quality. More than enough separation between tables if youre concerned with distancing

The food was good but the service was terrible. We werent greeted when we first arrived. They took a long time to take our order. Once our food came out they didnt return to ask if we needed anything else. We stopped another waitress to ask for some condiments and never got them. My husband had to go get his self. They had vegan options.

Hey man! Im seriously digging the new spread. Shane and crew have done an amazing job converting the back half of the old THE MANSION RESTAURANT AND BAR, into a cool rendition of the newest 4AM Coffee Roasters! Lots of extra space means more tables further apart, an amazing coffee bar where you can belly up, a small stage frequently with entertainment and a side room large enough to feature local made crafts and local farmed goods! As sad as it was to see the old location get demolished, this IS a better site! Cheers! Heres to good coffee and locally farmed foods!

Came at about 10:45 a.m. I felt like I was walking into a weird religious cult where everyone knew each other except for me. I did not feel welcome and the atmosphere was less relaxing than a night club. The place was packed and there was an entire daycares worth of kids running back and forth to the play pen (yes, theres a play pen) cranking their loud toys. There was live bluegrass music, which would usually be a plus, but it really only added more noise. I could almost overlook this if the service and/or food were good, but they were not. I waited 40 minutes for a biscuit and a veggie wrap to go, and the food was cold and had a hair in it. The biscuit was as dense as a brick and more akin to a scone. If you think youre going to come here for a peaceful breakfast, youre better off at waffle house. If you must come here for coffee, Id only suggest coming in the afternoon when the kitchen is closed. As for me, I wont be coming back ever again.

-Sweet potato biscuit was AMAZING! The sausage in the middle was over cooked and dry. Kids AAI it was a little spicy.-Berry Crepes were perfect—the compote berry filling inside topped it off-Egg casserole didn’t have much flavor at all-Servers we’re nice but service was slow (don’t go in if you don’t like waiting. Just enjoy the music and laid back environment). Truthfully, the quickest part was them cleaning off your table when you are done-Love the kid playing area (which helps occupy the kids during the wait time)-They we’re out of the majority of baked goods by the time we sat down at 10 AM. Originally order an orange cranberry muffin but were informed that they were out a few minutes before we received our food. Just go early if you are banking on their doughnuts, muffins, etc.-it appeared you can call ahead and order; something I wish we had done to speed up the process a little. The family behind us came in 30 minutes after us, sat down and had their food at their table a good 10 minutes before us.-My one pet peeve is when a waiter asks if you’ve been taken care of and when you mention something like “we do still need drinks…it’s been a while” and they come back with an excuse. Please don’t give excuses, just say “let me check on that for you!”There are your pros and cons…hopefully these remarks will set you up for a pleasant experience!

The iced creamy coffee is amazing. I had the grit casserole and it was ok. I think had it had a little more sausage and less gravy it would have been awesome. But if you like iced coffee give it a chance!

Horrible vanilla iced late. It has 5 iced cubes so its luke warm. I asked for soy Im pretty sure its regular milk. Staff is not too excited to be at work. Very low energy like they need coffee themselves. Definitely didnt satisfy my craving. Ill stick to gallery row next time.Edit sat here and waited with a empty drink and debit card on bar for 15min before he finally came and asked if I wanted a check. This vibe here is weird. Other customer at the bar had same issue.

This place has excellent coffee, food, and service. The shop is very roomy and perfect for doing school/work in. Perfect atmosphere and great people! I would recommend this for anyone! This is one of my favorite places in town.

Went here expecting to have a nice, relaxing brunch with my sweetie, and got greeted with an absolutely chaotic environment. Kids running around everywhere, loud music that’s not very fitting of a coffee shop. Waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, got it and it was lukewarm. Also found a hair in my meal. Had really high hopes for this place but sadly had a horrible experience. Typically let things like waiting slide, but this was just inexcusable.

No longer just a donut and coffee shop! Pleasantly surprised by the new menu and new owners. Awesome new menu that is great for foodies. Such as: sweet potato biscuits, kale slaw, keto coffee, cold brew, purple sweet potatos, local organic sausage, crêpes, and more. They offer both organic and gluten free options; as well as locally source their produce, meat and eggs... all for a reasonable price. They even list the local farms they source from. We got the Nutella Crêpes, Monte Cristo Crêpes, Keto coffee, regular coffee, nutella donut, blueberry cake donut, and the donut holes for around $30.00. My girlfriend and I had the 2 egg plate. It was excellent, even down to something as simple as the way the oatmeal was prepared - had the perfect mix of granola and brown sugar. I’d say the buttermilk and sweet potato biscuits were the staple of the entree. Loved that they required masks for customers to enter.

I love the coffee here, and I always get new things. They are a great local shop and super friendly. I have had my coffee come out differently sometimes though. They have great stuff, just some inconsistency. I LOVE this place though. I definitely recommend it.

My husband and I ate here for the first time this morning and I am so sad I didn’t know about their food options before!! I’ve been gluten free for 2.5 years and was thrilled to see that had g-free options. The breakfast and gluten free biscuit were AMAZING! We’ll be back for sure!

Honestly, and hands down, one of the BEST small town coffee shops I have ever been to. I had a Belgian waffle with bacon that was Delicious, and she had the Blueberry Bagel that had REAL blueberries. The coffee is smooth and fresh. A warm and welcoming community cafe. I cant tell you enough about this place. We will make it a destination every time we pass through Georgia.

The young lady that helped us was so sweet and very generous! The idea of this place was really good... The vibe in there was nice and the servers were cool. But not only were they almost out of everything (11 in the morning) when I did get a donut it really wasnt the best. Neither was my husbands or his crepes. We just moved in the area and wanted to try it, but I dont think we will be back. It was a cute place but the food just wasnt that good.

Fantastic little doughnut shop! I’ve gotten doughnuts from the place many times over the year and even though the name and concept has changed since I bought my first dozen some 20 years or so ago the quality and price is still the best in Carrolton! On my last trip back home a few years ago I stoped in here at around 5am and wasn’t at all disappeared! I’ll definitely drop in when I get back home again one of the days.

I went on a Saturday a little after lunch time. It was my first time there. When I walked in the place was packed. Someone was at every table. I came for donuts and coffee witch was great. I saw some of the other costumers plates. The lunch time food not only looked great, it smelled great. They were running low on donuts. I got three chocolate covered and two apple fritters. I ate most of them before I got home. The coffee was good too. I want to go back and try the food before I recommend this restaurant but i definitely enjoyed the donuts and coffee. God bless.

I love this local spot! The service is ALWAYS friendly— nearly every employee makes it a point to say hello or ask if we need anything. The community tables are neat and gives a homey feel. The food is amazing! The sausage is so fresh that after trying for the first time I literally talked about it for days. Do yourself a favor and order the grits casserole! The only “downside” is they do run out of pastries rather quickly, but in my opinion, good for them for staying so busy! My husband fell in love with their Keto lemon bars and has been impatiently waiting to go back for more. We love 4AM!!

This place has top-notch coffee! They also have great baked goods. You can also purchase their multiple blends of ground or whole bean coffee. I would not classify this place as a coffee shop. This is a coffee roasting business. While they are most known for their quality coffee, it is more like a coffee roaster and small cafe. You can find baked goods and also many vegan and farm to table meals. This would not necessarily be a great spot to camp out with friends or do work on a laptop for an extended amount of time because the inside is quite small. There is some outdoor seating and also a drive thru. The parking is fairly limited and it’s located at a busy intersection. While I do love the coffee from here, I often find myself not wanting to fight the traffic to try and find a parking spot or squeeze into the drive thru. I know many many locals in the area who regularly purchase their coffee to use in their home and business!

Awesome place with awesome people. The staff is very friendly and make it a point to learn your names. The food is largely local with high quality ingredients that are responsibly sourced. Heavy movement towards using recyclable/compostable cups instead of one time use plastics. They roast their own coffee which is always on point. I try to support them as much as possible. One hell of a great local business.

The best coffee you’ll ever drink. Their cold brew, hot brew or something fancy, it’s all amazeballs. Whether you’re into something sweet & yummy or something more healthy that’s gonna make you feel fantastic they’ve got you covered. You won’t meet a nicer bunch of people than the family who owns it, the people who work there, or the customers. Every time I go there I ask myself why I don’t go more.

Lackluster service and coffee! Finally stopped in and the employee working register was more interested is chatting with a female customer than helping a growing line of customers. Ordered a latte and was told they hand press them. Definitely not worth the $7 they charged (no prices posted for coffee drinks!). Quality was watery with little flavor and temperature was lukewarm, at best. Much better coffee available elsewhere in town!

A wonderful place to get a bite to eat and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Not only is the staff the best but the customers mix and mingle and new friendships are made. Where do you find that anymore? And that is where we get the coffee for our own shop!

This is my go-to for coffee in Carrollton! My favorite is their sweetened iced coffee with coffee ice cubes. The environment is friendly, cozy, and eclectic. My husband and I love the gluten-free options when weve been there for breakfast.

Delish is one word,, fresh is another. Combine them together and youve got a winning combination. Nice to have this down the road from work. Better than fast food for sure. And oh the donuts are always fresh. Gluten free options as well were nice.

This place is great. It just kinda bothersome that its not open at 4am. i work nights and the hours they are open make it hard for me to get to you guys. Love the food and drink, its just at 4am the only thing open is McDonalds. I know its just a name of the place but, i have had myself and many of my friends try you guys when you first opened, go at at 4am to see you closed. lol just find it all funny.

My family and I love 4am Coffee Roasters. Their coffee and variants, food, and doughnuts are all very good. Also, its one of the only places in town that use actual local meats and produce, and they tell you what farm its from. There is no other place quite like it in town!

So, the burgers here are pretty much whats up. All of their beef comes from local farms and they have Keto stuff on the menu as well. Their coffee is fantastic, and ima have to go back and try some of the other things they have to offer.

Nicest people in town, and great treats to boot.If you havent had the sweet potato biscuit, your life is incomplete. Be sure to get it Louisiana style.

FINALLY, Carrollton has a place to eat with really fresh, really GOOD food. And they offer Indian food, which I love. The doughnuts are outstanding as well. Didnt try the coffee yet but will definitely be back- often. Dont judge whats on the inside by what the outside looks like, thats what we did for a long while. Im regretting that now, cause we have been missing out.

THE BEST COFFEE. Try the Costa Rican blend when they have it. The sweet potato biscuits are REALLY good too. All the donuts are fresh and tasty. I love this little gem!
