Awesome place, REALLY GOOD coffee and some of the most diverse, interesting breakfast things I have tried in a while. If youre expecting waffle house or IHOP then this is not for you. Im not saying those are bad per se, but this is different. Staff is awesome. Try the veggie crepes

Ive always loved this place! Great atmosphere and a great place to get work done. Their food and drinks are delicious. You can get teas (iced or hot), coffee, smoothies, and more. They have tons of great baked goods and ice cream. I love their pumpkin bread and sausage balls and also really enjoy getting their spiced chai tea latte. I definitely reccomend this place!

I love this small Cafe. It is always so welcoming and beautiful. 10/10 recommend this adorable little restaurant.

Extremely slow service. They had one girl taking orders and making drinks. She takes a few orders, then stops and starts making drinks. In this scenario you should expect about a 10 minute wait for an espresso drink. The latte was very good once I got it, and so was the carrot cake muffin.

Love this place! Having daughters at UWG, I have had many opportunities to get my coffee fix here. Their coffee puts Starbucks to shame, and their baristas are always friendly and super helpful! Thanks for being such a great place to get a delicious coffee and spend time with my sweet daughters.

I am new to Carrollton and wanted to check out the local barista. Went at lunch for a tea. Got strange looks coming in, maybe black guy in a COVID mask. But the peach tea, zucchini bread and service were excellent. I can see myself frequenting this spot. Looks like they have everything for my coffee/tea needs. I did not ask if they had a good Oolong though. Next time!

Awesome place and atmosphere for meetings or getting some work done! coffee and deserts are always great and their pumpkin chai is amazing!my only thing is that they often only have just the 1 barista behind the counter who is taking orders and preparing the drinks/food. this can make for a little bit of a wait so I wouldnt go if I was in a hurry. but for days where I am just chilling and studying this is perfectly ok!

Beloved coffee shop enjoyed by locals and visitors alike! This coffee shop serves quality coffee drinks, many types of tea, sandwiches, and baked goods. They always have a rotation of monthly featured lattes and beverages. This is one of my favorite coffee shops to study or work and also to meet up with friends. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. They regularly feature local artist pieces on their walls that are available for purchase. There are couches, high top tables, and larger tables for groups. There are also a few outdoor table options. Great location right in the center of the square and in walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking behind the square, parking deck, and also right in front of the store front. This place stays packed most of the day so if you are wanting to do some solo work or studying, be sure to get there early to claim your spot! While they do have quite a bit of seating, they absolutely could probably expand and still stay pretty full.

Been around forever with no signs of stopping. I love Gallery Row. The shop has never had a bad barista behind the counter and the stores always clean. Theyve even updated their menu periodically to include new drinks and things. You can get an authentic coffee shop experience here, or you can go for your jumbo 20oz. American style hybrid drinks if thats what you prefer. Breakfast bagels and things of that nature are also excellent, especially when served with the fruit garnish. For many out of towners, Gallery Row is the face of Carrollton. Its a good face too, owing to the friendly atmosphere and diverse range of clientele that are usually in similar good spirits. Never had a bad fifteen minutes or more in Gallery Row in the last fifteen years.

One of the best coffee shops!! It was my favorite during my college years and STILL is as awesome as I remembered it! Pumpkin loaf with cream cheese is amazing!

This is a quiet place to get work done and it is the best coffee in Carrollton. But that’s not all, their food is delicious and can make up just about anything if you ask. Good smoothies too. The nitro coffee is power packed and delicious.

I stopped here my first time in Carrollton, and Kathleen was the most wonderful server Ive had the good fortune of dealing with in quite some time. I dont normally leave reviews on Google, but her kind demeanor and warm attitude were worth noting.

I like my coffee how I like my woman strong and as bitter as my attitude. The baristas are not afraid to make a strong coffee and I love that. They also have really good scones I highly recommend the blueberry scone.

Great location 👍, mediocre coffee 😐, poor service 👎.I was on a business trip last week and had a few days until my next meeting. While staying at the downtown Marriott, I googled local coffee shops and internet cafes. Thats when I decided to try Gallery Row as it was within very close walking distance.Great building appearance. Reminded me of this great hole in the wall coffee shop in Paris I went to a few times.The first thing I noticed while walking in was the lack of greeting from the barista as I was approaching the counter. It was also at that time I noticed what the barista was wearing. She was wearing a t-shirt that didn’t have any apparent/prominent logos or flair from the business itself, and sweatpants with crocs and no socks. Besides that probably being a health code violation (it is from my hometown), I felt like it was not a good look for the establishment.My coffee was over $6, which is close to my usual Starbucks/Tim Hortons price, so I didnt mind.The credit card machine was different than any I have ever used, and the barista was really condescending when I messed it up the first time. I dont usually have to press buttons to answer questions BEFORE inserting my card. Its a quirk, but most places are universal and this place has already shown its uniqueness.The barista pulled back the card machine to face her as soon as my card was removed, pulled out the receipt, and began to walk away. I had to speak above my normal range of volume (being an introvert, that was very embarrassing to me) to get her attention through the what seems like 3 shield of plexiglass hanging haphazardly over the counter.I got my drink and realized you needed a secret code to get on the internet, despite already purchasing a beverage (not on the receipt I had to loudly ask for). I went to the counter to ask about the wifi, and the barista rudely asked me how long I planned on being there. I wasn’t sure, but said maybe a couple of hours? .... she gave me two tickets with codes. I guess the internet privileges are timed?I felt like I was welcome only a very limited time (if at all) and I better not dare get up and ask for another code if I over stayed my welcome. While I was there I also noticed the barista charged a customer for a cup of iced water (not bottled). That seemed extremely petty.Next time I will just go to Starbucks because they are more welcoming, and dont try to control my stay with internet codes. This place is not warm or friendly and the coffee is mediocre.For being in this beautiful southern city, with an amazing assortment of shops, restaurants, and just pure history represented in this town, I am not impressed with the professionalism or quality of a shop on the downtown square.

Ive been going to Gallery Row since I was a teenager. Back then it was a nice place to meet friends -- now its a great place to work. The drinks are great and they have a fantastic collection of loose leaf teas! I actually buy the white tea with rose and cherry in bulk. The baristas are always friendly and the vibe is great -- overall I just love the place! Give it a try!

Love this place. Shes been there since 93. Today was my first visit and I wish that I had eaten lunch there. Coffee (Mexican Mocha) was very good. Lots of choices there. I definitely will return. Its going to be one of my new favorites.

The workers are super friendly and I havent had them mess up an order once. The whole shop is very laid back and has a very comforting atmosphere. It is a good place to sit and work on something or meet up with friends.I recommend the frozen coffee there because they make it with ice-cream and it is amazing.

A pleasant experience! Plenty of good options, and the staff are always vibrant and kind. I think the prices are a bit high, and I guess I would say that some of the furniture in the back needs replacing? Still a regular stop if Im visiting the square.

Gallery Row has my heart. Long before I had an office space to meet clients I would use Gallery Row as a meeting spot. The coffee is fresh, atmosphere inviting, and location perfect - right in the heart of historic downtown!

The first time I went here the experience was absolutely wonderful! The young lady at the desk helped me pick exactly what I was looking for and it was delicious. She also recommended the chocolate croissants which were amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone coming through Carrollton🥰🥰The second time I visited with my family, we got mixed feelings though.😓 The person who took our order seemed irritated with us vs with other customers.Im sorry if she was having a bad day and if our order was over stimulating her or if we just caught her at a bad time. She seemed rushed to hear our order when there was no one behind us yet. So, I began my order and apparently said the wrong thing(mocha Frappuccino🥺) and very quickly she said a bunch of things about the drink options which threw me off a bit😥. When it was my husbands turn to order he tried to ask what was good there and if they had any healthy food choices and with no words was just handed a menu and the person walked away. The next customer was greeted with smiles,conversation and undivided attention 😖. Our little girls even seemed a bit off put by the interaction,but other than that, we got our order and everything was good.

The food is amazing and if I were rating only it, I would give 5 stars. I love coffee, Im a simple folders gal and just recently ventured into candy (sweetened) coffee and love it. My friend and I tried this cute shop at the suggestion of mutual friend. I was not so struck on i, but I but my friend loved it. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, the people who work there were super friendly and very nice to us. I tried 4 drinks while I was there, my friend and I visited twice while in town, and I didnt like any of them, but I always devoured my food and has to refrain from licking the plate clean. I

The drink are typically of a local coffee shop. The gelato is not the best, however they do have interesting ice cream flavors usually. The staff is nice, and when its not over crowded it is a nice place to meet up for coffee.

As always a fun atmosphere in what can only be described as an idyllic small town coffee shop. The two guy baristas were friendly and approachable and they even helped me whip up a fun dessert coffee that ended a date night on a sweet, rich, and warm note.

Im a little old and country but this is a cool coffee shop. Met my son here for a pow wow, coffee was good and the staff was pleasant.

Stopped in today for the first time, I ended up buying lemon pound cake and a small hot apple cider. I paid almost $8 for these items, so I expected them to be delicious. I was incredibly disappointed. The pound cake wasnt moist, it was just soggy, like it was old. It also barely had any lemon flavor. The hot apple cider was nothing special, like youd think you were getting for $4.30 for 8oz. It was just microwaved cider from a jug. I definitely wont be back.

Stopped in for a single ice cream. Decided to get a small Kentucky Blend Tea. Add some honey it is fantastic! The ice cream was good also. If your visiting like me I recommend highly.

Gallery Row has become a home away from home. The atmosphere is perfect for meeting with friends/ family, relaxing or getting work done. To top it off, the workers are great. They all have positive attitudes and are very sweet.

Visited this while in town for work travel. Nice cozy interior with ample seating. Loved the lamps with extra plugs for my power cord. Had a turtle mocha latte which was good and lemon pound cake that left a lot to be desired. As a resident sweets pro I have thrown cake away, this was a first as it was heavy and greasy. Also had a smoothie which is just fruit concentrate.Not bad for a Saturday goal setting session. Stick to coffee and leave the rest.

To this day, the best cup of coffee Ive ever had was at gallery row. I typically dont do coffee shops, but I will definitely be coming back here whenever Im on the square for another amazing cup!

Im here every Sunday morning after church to study and/or do homework. The place is cozy with tables to eat at (or in my case, do homework) and sofas to relax in and read.Matt and Bri are the absolute best! Honestly, their genuine customer service skills are what made me return after my first visit. They are super sweet, extremely friendly, and keep the place clean. They always treat every customer like a friend.I never know what drink to order so I usually ask for something cold, caffeinated, and sweet. Everything theyve made for me has been perfect. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order and come out nice and hot, and the scones are deelish!

This is a wonderful little coffee shop nestled in a historic building. Tastefully decorated and a cozy place to hang out in. You can get hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, pastries and a variety of other snacky things here. Also has WiFi. Great place to study, hang out with friends, or take a break from the day.
