Im passing through town and stopped to get my hair done. I went to HM Beauty bc they were close to the salon. While I was there picking up the hair, my stylist canceled.I asked the store for a recommendation and they helped me find a braided who booked me for a same day appointment. They also had the perfect match hair for my style among the vast array of choices. The prices were great and the customer service was above and beyond. I dont live here but I will be back!Note: my replacement, emergency appointment was done by Beauty by BeeCee in the Phenix Salon Suites a few doors down from HM. Highly recommend both.

I never rate beauty supplies for multiple reasons. But I honestly was pleasantly surprised by how polite and helpful the people were at this particular store. Sad that we have to be surprised by customer service lol. But I was. They were pleasant and helpful and seemed to value their customers business. On top of that they have an awesome selection. Everything I needed as well as a host of stuff I just wanted to try or buy was their. This is my new favorite beauty supply. And even though it is much farther than the one up the street from where I live, I will be coming here for the customer service and the options.

UNPROFESSIONAL!! SHOP WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATED NOT TOLERATED.The store has a great selection of hair but the older Asian woman that runs the store is not kind or professional. I purchased 2 packs of hair and called to inquire on exchanges 2 days later (wanted to exchange for more expensive hair)and was hung up on twice. Take your money to a black owned beauty supply, I found one:BPOLISHED BEAUTY SUPPLY 4145Belt Line Rd ste 110 in Addison.They are super helpful and will order things for you if they dont have the stock.

I purchased a wig for $117.00 from this store when I got home the wig did not fit because the cap was small. When I back to exchange the wig. The lady look down and said no exchanges on wigs. I said no problem. I Will never purchase hair from them again. We as black peoples need to purchase hair from professional people that know about hair. They should have told me before purchasing there product. I am done with these people. They just take our money they don’t give a dam about us/customers.

Ill go in there and get the product that I need for my hair and also my husband hair as well. I love the location of this beauty supply. There are not many beauty supplies to choose from close to my home. The owner owned another location by my last job and they keep me coming back. Great service and fully stocked beauty supply, on the far north side.

I love going to this beauty supply because they are different from the other ones in the area. They do not stare you down or look at you like you are trying to steal something. I am serious...you all can confirm this when you visit the other beauty supply on frankford rd near the 99 cent store.HM beauty supply is amazing. The owners are courteous and welcome you. They also help you with your product search and do it all with a smile. I visited them before and after they downsized and their service is consistent. Good selection of hair and hair care products.

Always check your receipt when shopping here. They have a tendency of scanning things twice and not refunding the money. The receipts are not itemized and you can only see the price of your item.

Big selection of beauty needs. Aisles are spaced decent enough but I was able to find everything I wanted and the items were not overpriced in comparison to other supply stores.

Its your typical Beauty Supply nothing special. This staff typically watches you like a hawk. But I guess you get used to that because theres not a lot of other locations in the area.

They actually have a good selection, as they are a larger beauty supply store. However, I personally felt their wigs are VERY overpriced! They start at $29 (not very appealing style) and quickly shoot up to 50 and 60 dollars. One lady asked if we needed help, we declined and she walked away. Next an older lady asked if we needed help. Declined again, but she just stood there, staring at us. I dont like being watched while I shop....

I had just got off work and stopped in and to my surprise was followed so hard that I ended up ordering my hair online. The lady could have offered assistance rather than follow me down every aisle. Maybe order some cameras and sit in the back like a normal retailer.

BEWARE!!Dont waist your money at this place. They dont care about you and only want your money. I have never been to a store where you cant get a refund. A lady helped me pick out hair that was incorrect and when i returned they had a select few of the correct hair. I am highly dissapointed that they didnt give me a refund. I will never step foot in this place again!
