El Torito Market was very good, we tried the ceriche, delicious. Found some good looking pork, planning to cube for Pork and Green Chili.

Love this place. They have everything. Its like a little piece of Mexican American authenticity right in the heart of Carlsbad. Whether its Shrimp Ceviche youre looking for, the best home made green chile, pollo asada, adobada, el pastor, or carne asada. This is the spot. All the meats and fixins you need tp have a bomb BBQ. They even have the corn tortillas fresh in a warmer. Need i say anymore. Check em out. And be polite. They are such nice people.

Quick! We need to pick up some last minute stuff for an event! Dont have time to brave the parking and lines at Costco (dont have a membership card)? Head on over to El Torito Market!! They have a great selection of items to buy in bulk, and for those who dont necessarily need so many items, they have plenty of smaller packages as well.The staff here are great. While in line, they asked us if we needed help getting all our things into the car. There wasnt a lot of stuff either. They had also asked the lady in front of us, who did have a lot of stuff. When we got to the car, we were loading the items into the trunk, and one of the guys who collects the shopping carts also rushed to us to ask if we needed help loading our stuff. So nice of them!
