My favorite local grocery market. Staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. The Simple Truth brand is outstanding - highly recommended by a registered dietitian. The self-check out are convenient, efficient, and easy to use. I love my local Ralphs.

Nice wine selection, and the wine sales associate will help you select something good for a good price. Good selection of organic produce. Were vegan so we were happy to see lots of nice vegetables and fruit, as well as some variety of tofu and other vegan packaged products.

I go to this Ralphs every time we stay at S. Carlsbad State Beach. The store is massive and well stocked. The checkers are always nice to deal with too. Big John in the deli makes great sandwiches that we eat on the beach. The sushi is always fresh and also goes well on the beach.

After dealing with the store director, I will NEVER step foot in that store ever again! I watched him belittle his employees and a Boars Head representative! I cannot believe this company lets him treat employees like this.

Absolutely the worst grocery store ever. They consistently under deliver. First off. They never have more than one person working the register. They want you to self check everything. The store services many elderly people and having them self check everything is time consuming and a giant hassle. For example-I saw a women yesterday in the self check line with a bag of sugar got had a cut in it the two men working the front then continued to talk and she asked if they could get another one. The responded go ahead.... I was dumbfounded... I worked as a bagger boy when I was 14 I would have never said that. A child has more manners. Shame on you Ralph’s.

Convenient grocery store location, it has everything I need, the hot food selection was great, fruit and veggies department is fresh, we got some beautiful flowers.Coffee place inside the store too.

Just moved to Carlsbad after two years living overseas. We were excited to get back to our original favorites - Costco, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. We’ve tried them all and other grocery store in the area but this quickly became our favorite. The prices, variety, and quality are unmatched. The staff we interacted with were very friendly.

Great supermarket. They did a huge renovation and greatly expanded the selections. There is a wide variety of cheeses. Good selection of produce including organic. Wide choice of wines and liquor. Large selection and variety of fresh flowers. Very helpful staff.

I’ve called 3 times to speak to a service rep about ordering a turkey dinner for 4 and rang for More than 2 minutes each time with no answer. I’ll just have to order some place else

I have lived here my whole life in Carlsbad and we have always gone to Ralphs. I have pretty much memorized where anything is too. Ralphs is an amazing store, the staff is super friendly and if you dont have a mask, they give one to you. There are super good prices too.

Quite literally my favorite grocery store for late night shopping. The employees are mostly kind and the manager Javier is extremely kind understanding and generous!

If it was possible for ZERO stars Id rate them for that. Got told I was required to wear a mask to enter the store while I see 3 people walk out with no masks on F this Ralphs will be calling their corporate number to complain. Trash communism company!

Thank you to all the employees of my local Ralphs store for being there for us during the covid19 crisis. For having products available that are hard to find at other stores. And for excellence in sanitation for customers, store and employees.

This was everything you might expect in a Ralphs Supermarket and so much more. It also had kitchen appliances, cooking tools, kitchenware and bakeware that were all wonderfully arranged. The store was immaculate and the produce was fresh. It also had a large fresh seafood section which was impressive. This is a high end store that has been thoughtfully put together with the customer in mind.

The employees are all awesome and they work very hard. Added self checkout Lanes usually has only one lane open. Lots of customers are unhappy. Wait time is longer. You cant take a full cart through self checkout, its ridiculous. I used to love this place. Not too happy since the changes.Since quarantine has ended Ralphs has once again become my favorite place to shop for groceries. I believe thats true of many people since a lot of the time the shelves are needing more stock and theres always people there working on it. Plus I absolutely love the employees that work there!

I always shop after 7:30 pm. For past year till present, I have not run to an employee with friendly face, not once. Thay all have a robotic facial appearance when you ask them a question.

There are a lot of hard working staff at this Ralphs. However, Nadine is one of the kindest and hardest working people I’ve ever met. She makes sure all the customers feel at home, remembering our names and getting to know us. She’s on top of everything! Smiling at every chance. The world needs more people like Nadine!

I have no idea why anyone would go to Vons instead of Ralphs. It is so much cheaper to shop here, there is more food to choose from, and there is a clearance section. They are not far from each other, yet people still refuse to see the greatness that is Ralphs. I have a friend that prefers Vons over Ralphs, and I really dont understand why. Everything here is just great. Very good place to buy food. Also, the receipts arent extremely long, which saves paper.

Looks like all cashiers are awesome on this review post so I guess must have got the one rotten apple on December 21 2019 at 730 pm. Whoever the gentleman was overseeing the self checkout...try exhibiting a little customer service next time.

Have always shopped at Ralphs. Being 75 years old, I wanted to start delivery or pickup for my groceries. The website was almost impossible (and I have worked on computers for 20+ years) and guess what--there are no times listed for pick up or delivery. They are booked and there was no place to sign up for future deliveries. So basically, I wasted a hour doing my grocery list online and now I have to go shopping anyway. And senior shopping from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. is ridiculous. We dont get up until 7 a.m. We have compromised immune systems and no desire to go to the market at this point. I will shop elsewhere. But thanks for the memories.

This Ralphs is a fully stocked store with beautiful flowers as you walk in and lots of varieties of grocery items. The staff is available and friendly. This is a great place to shop. Often wine tasting is available.

One of the best supermarkets Ive been to. Great baked goods/breads, seafood, meats at reasonable prices. Olive bar, prepared foods and very nice employees.

Store was nice. Wish I could say the same for the checkout experience. Being forced to self check was difficult at best. And getting support was from a checker was not easy. Machine was not picking up the bar codes. While process needs improvement!

They didnt have the apples I was looking for but its a clean store and when the lines backed up multiple tellers showed up to fix the lines quickly. Seems to me like a well managed operation.

This store had great things to buy here. There is an olive bar, wow very fancy. I think all the Ralphs should be designed just like this one.

This store was fantastic, but they ruined it by closing all but 1 checkout lanes and forcing everyone into the self checkout. After shopping at this store for 15 years weve had enough and go to Vons or Gelsons now. The inconvenience of the drive is more palatable than the inconvenience of the self checkout, which completely sucks.

This is a well stocked grocery store with a good selection of foods. I didnt spend too much time and didnt compare prices. They had a decent beer selection and the staff was very friendly. It did look upscale though.

Just bought a Rotisserie Chicken for dinner. The chicken is completely raw inside. How’s this possible? Don’t you have some quality control not to put out uncooked chicken? Very disappointed. Never coming back.

Wonderful, quaint and quiet. Nice view and a great chance to escape the urban headache. Tent or RV sites are large and offer firepits with the shade of trees and shrubs to provide semi private spaces.

Been there a few times. they have everything you need. the service is amazing. I even called on the chance of them knowing the name of another business in the same shopping center, and they actually sent someone down there to get the name and phone number of the place. absolutely amazing service. thank you ralphs

I am a regular customer at Ralphs Twin Oaks Valley Road across the street from CSU San Marcos. I came here today to grab a salad for a party at a friends house in Carlsbad. I have to say that considering the affluent neighborhood, the store is dirty and unkempt. The floors were grimy and black, the checkout belts filthy. I will definitely rethink my shopping options in Carlsbad next time.

Nice people! One person working the ENTIRE Deli, Pizza and all hot foods area during the busy late afternoon. I was in the store and hour...never saw another....even the deli manager walked right by me without asking if I needed help. Done.Salad bar was an embarrassment. Kidney beans right out of a can without rinsing. Thick and gushy. Peas out of a can, green brown and mushy (use frozen peas). Sliced radishes browning and curling up. They need to be in water. Sliced celery disgustingly green and brown....other customers agreed on all points. Ill stick with Lazy Acres salad bar. Always out of my favorite bread that I must get at Stater Bros or Vons instead. So bummed, because I really do like the store. Not going anytime soon now. :(

The staff is always great and helpful. The deli service staff make great sandwiches too. They are currently renovating so it. May take some time to find where everything was moved around to.

Sadly Ralphs has become too modern. I no longer get ads from them, now were supposed to use their app; but that doesnt easily tell me what is on sale. I used to go there a lot, but now not so much.

Has kitchen supplies with lot of new kitchen gadgets. Also a very pretty layout of there seasonal display.And of course produce always fresh.

I have been a loyal shopper for may years at Ralphs. The selections are good, the store well stocked and the help is always courteous. But I cant stand the DOGS in and around my food. Two weeks ago, I saw an owner yank his dog away when he started to lift his hind leg. Yesterday, I saw a lady with two dogs in her grocery cart. Stop this madness. NO DOGS IN THE MARKET!

Waited in the bakery section for someone for ten mins. No one showed. Then, got a number at the deli section and waited ten more. Was then informed the that he couldnt helped us at the bakery section and that someone might show up.. no one did. Sweet.

My 30 year local food store. but now its smart n final i shop at. way lower prices.

We have never been to this store before. Today, we needed a cake and were in the area, when I looked up nearby grocery stores. We bought a 1/4 sheet cake, marble, with buttercream frosting for $18.99. Tonight, we had literally one bite and it was so bad we threw the whole cake in the garbage. 1 BITE! It tasted like combination of chemicals and like it was spoiled. It is cake! With buttercream! How anyone can make a cake taste that bad I have no clue but they managed to do it. So bravo to them.

Its a very Lovely Store. However, the acting Manager Sisto at the time is rude, ignorant and ill-knowledgeable of a simple policy. He was not going to seek out any information either. He just stood there to make me look uncomfortable. He is an idiot. He over talked me and he spoke too loudly, he fronted me off in front of others. I just quietly walked away.

A nice enough Ralphs. Its kind of dark inside which isnt great. Prices are on the high side unless you use their loyalty card. They also have self checkout, but it doesnt work all that great.

Best ralphs you will visit...they have plenty of help....you will not wait long to get checked out....they have everything...but somewhat on the expensive side unless it is on ad...huge parking lot....be careful of the wild ducks when driving..they have adopted the parking lot....

About the best customers service Ive ever seen at a grocery store. Occasional inconsistent availability on certain products, but they usually respond quite well.

The staff is courtious, but the store Director is a PIP! Ive never seen a Manger berate a employee publically in the manner this lady does. I grew up in retail, and my father would have fire this woman on the spot for treating the employees in the manner she does. Ralphs would be better off with out her.

Great produce, excellent selections, many options, deli is fab and they have a lot of fresh salads and great Boars Head meat and cheeses.

The employees are quite helpful, especially in the self-checkout lane where you might struggle when finding items without barcodes. I usually come here for dry goods, but they also have a good selection of produce and meats. If youre looking for a particular cut of meat though, you might want to come early to make sure you find it. I usually am unable to buy beef shank here coz its gone whenever I visit.
