Diane at Auto Zone on Hanover St in Carlisle was amazing!! She sold me a battery and replaced it on the spot. Because of her, I will shop at this Auto Zone for all my automotive needs. Excellent service here!!!

We had to emergently stop here over the weekend on our way from NJ to Ohio. An employee, Nathan, went above & beyond his duties by not only pointing out our brake issue but also connecting us with his friend, a local mechanic who was available to help us outside of business hours on a Friday night. Had it not been for Nathan, we would have been stuck in PA for the night (with our grandma & our dog) & subsequently missed a family reunion the next day. AutoZone is truly blessed to have an employee like Nathan who makes you realize there really are genuinely good people out there in the world. Thanks Nathan!

The people who work here are friendly enough... But that being said no one in this store is motivated! Yhe service is so slow every time. Always 6 or 8 staff members visible but no one seems to want to help anyone. Takes them 10 mins to acknowledge your existence even when theres only one or two other people in the store. This could be an amazing store if somebody just lit a fire under the employees backsides

Pretty good store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to be sure youre taken care of. Usually dont have to wait too long. Cant beat the small tree services like battery install, diagnostic test etc. Overall good shopping experience

Always get what I need here. If they dont have it theyll order it for sure and it comes in quick. Cant say Ive ever had a bad experience here. Sometimes the employees could act a little more professional but it is what it is. I mean this is AutoZone lol. Highly recommend. Will always go back as they are my go-to since 2011 and still are to this very day.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Constantly recieving wrong parts and I have to look them up my self before I go in to get the right ones. Line is always to the door and it always seems under staff or the staff has a lack of knowledge on vehicles. I will not be returning to this location anymore for parts. I will pay more for parts and go to a more reputable parts store from now on.

I went in today for a new car battery. The line was long but the wait was short. Isaac was the associate that waited on me. He was very quick and efficient. When he came out to put in my battery, he discovered that I needed a different battery. He took the wrong one back, gave me the correct one. He gave me a discount for the inconvenience.

I have to thank the young man who helped me last night, Adam. He was very knowledgeable and I will definitely be coming back .

Ive called three separate times. Ive been on hold each time for over 20 minutes. As soon as I think someone is going to answer they hang up on me. although a guy named Tony has always been very helpful.

Have gone there several times recently. All the guys I dealt with were knowledgeable, quick and helpful. Needed their diagnostic tool for my check engine light issue, a PCV valve, special electric grease, non-seize lubricant and each time they took care of me.I highly recommend this store due to the people that work there.

Harley was such a great help. She was very attentive to not only my automotive needs but also my 4yr old daughter. While in the rain changing my car battery she was even talking to my little girl to keep her preoccupied. Then stickers. Was just a great experience. Plus the price was very comparable for what i needed. Thanks again.

The place has gotten worse over the years. The parts people have no knowledge of finding anything in their store unless its factory equipment. They just get the car info and find the part number. One time I was getting wheel Studs and nuts for my car with a no OEM, beefier rear end. I gave them the size and thread pattern. I waited almost 10 minutes. They couldnt figure out how to get the ones I wanted. I worked at AutoZone a long time ago and I knew the boxes had the sizes and patterns on them. They brought me behind the counter and had to show them how to figure it out. AutoZone used to have people who are knowledgeable about cars. Now we got parts pickers who only see parts number and pull them like they only have experience working a Wearhouse and grabbing what the computer tells them.

My Husband Shops At This Place All The Time And He Has Never Had A Problem With Them Looking Up The Part He May Need And The Staff Is Always Nice Saying Hello To You And How Can I Help You As Soon As You Walk In The Door! I Would Highly Recommend This Place To My Family And Friends.

Can get a bit busy at times with limited people at registers. But this place is much better than the neighboring store customer service wise.

Place is full of incompetant unknowledgeable wortless employees that cant read or understand what the computer says drove an hour for nothing after being on hold for 25 minutes and them saying they have 3 in stock

So I called in about an hour before closing and spoke with Adam and told him my dilemma, had a head light out, I do not know how to put it in and my son is going for his drivers license test tomorrow. He told me to come in and that they would take a look to see if they could help. Upon arrival, Adam had the bulb already pulled and ready to go when I got there. Jason, the other store associate, then proceeded to go out to the parking lot and installed the new head light for me within minutes. These two gentlemen seriously saved the day for both my son and I, thank you so much for all of your help!!

Found item cheaper at another store

My rotors where ceased and i couldnt remove then. It trued with a hammer and nothing. I called this autozone to rent a gear puller. She suggested i got get a rubber mallet and go to town, can get one in home depot 25-40$. If i didnt care about the rotor wack it a few times more with the hammer. Also use heat. So i drove about 200(im from nyc) then it be hot enough wacked it out. Instead of just taking my money she stood on the phone about 20mins really trying to help me which they did. “Awesome Sauce!!”thanks alot Autozone team!!

The store had what I needed but there was a couple employees that should be fired. I over heard them talking about a customer as he left briefly. Customer needed a battery and needed it installed. Which is a very simple task. And they did not want to help what so ever. And they werent currently doing anything at all.

Brought my core back in and dealt with John A for the 2nd time in a week and he is such an awesome and knowledgable salesman here I dont want to do business anywhere else

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, funny too, and plenty of employees to help customers. Had everything I needed in stock (4 items) when every other place i called needed to order everything I needed, including the dealership. Next time Ill just start with them and save myself a bunch of time. I highly recommend going here.

Looked for sick spanner, asked, she asked worker to look it up, he walked back to where I told him I already looked. Then he spent 10 minutes looking down the isle before asking Can you tell me what it looks like? Then he asked if I have a part number he can lookup. AZ is good for fair price and local access to parts but know what you want before you get there.

Its a just a parts place ... The manager sure thinks he is smooth but its unfortunate that knowledge for things and good customer service is a rarity. Know what you need before you go ...

The store will have whatever you need but you might be in line for in an hour. Waited in line for about 15 minutes and the person ahead of me decided to call the store phone because we werent receiving service. Several employees walked by and completely ignored the line.

My car died at their parking spot so obviously I need a new battery which I will. Anyways, their service is great. The nice guy helped my car jumpstart because my car battery died

Check prices elsewhere. 5qts of oil $34. Same oil $22 at Walmart. Its the same with filters, tools, accessories, etc. Manager was unprofessional and made my returns very unpleasant. Will not shop from autzone ever again.

I called to make shure they had my part because I live a hr away. They said they had 2 in stock so i go there for them to tell me they dont have it there computer was wrong. An they had to order it for me.

The service is Ridiculously slow. I waited in line over 30 mins to checkout and there was only 3 people in front of me. It has been this way the last 2 times Ive been here it wouldnt kill them to hire some help to speed up the checkout process

There is a reason that advanced auto is always close by they are both pretty hit or miss the manager at auto zone is really cool but the guy I delt with last time qas almsot enough to make me wanna just say forget it and go next door

I had called to see if they had the part I needed. When I finally got there the part was on the counter waiting for me! I didnt ask them to hold it but they did. All the staff was welcoming and friendly.

I stopped going to Auto zone years ago, because as a woman I felt as though I was treated as though I was an idoit and was always treated poorly. I found myself there twice today and each time, on two different shifts, I was given the absolute best service. Especially by Katelyn. Thank you so much for treating me as an equal.

Ray the assistant manager is incredible! I came in for wiper blades and a battery. I was turned away over at advanced auto because of the type car and battery case. Ray took care of it. That all is stuff Autozone normally does though. The negative terminal on my battery was broken and covered in corrosion. Ray helped me outside in the cold for about an hour doing the replacement. ALSO, while we were outside he must have greeted at least 5 other customers by name, which just blew me away!

I bought a Gold Battery from these folks. It died in less than 2 years so they said that it was warranted for 5 years. Since it was dead they gave me a new battery but theres the dig. They replaced it with a 2 year battery which died to the day, in 2 years. Thats a pretty dirty thing to do.

Good place to go. You can even check online for the part you need. Not great at answering the phone because of the in store occupants.

Need more good counter people. long wait, some time the counter people are clueless. They have some really experienced people they keep in the back who dont help customers at the counter.

We broke down on the turnpike at 3 am. Made it to AutoZone at 3:30 am and slept in parking lot till 7 am. They wouldnt help us until they opened @ 7:30. They finally unlocked the front door @ 7:38 am. Only one team member ( Christian ) gave us the time to day. The rest were rude. Very disappointed in AutoZone. Definitely wont be spending and more of my money there.

Open 1 hour earlier than advance auto on Sunday so that helped me start project faster and get done sooner.

Worst experience ever. Called 4 times before I even got an answer, was told to hold, no big deal. Was on hold for 15 minutes all together. Went into the store and one person was working the counter with at least 3 other employees walking around in the back and at least 7 people in line. Stood in line for about 15 minutes and didn’t move at all so I left. Called Advanced Auto which was right across the street and was in and out in about 5 minutes.

Always helpful and courteous. Recycle used oil here and try to hit up the frequent sales on oil and accessories.

Always helpful with questions and polite, but because they get busy, if you have to call, you will have a 10 minute or so wait! Usually have parts you need.

I always loved the Service at autozone but this friday i had collapsed in their bathroom with 3 people knowing I was going to use the bathroom.. it is rules and regulations to check, clean, and observe all areas of the store before it closes, however autozone on Hanover carlislee pa by dollys landury mat did the exact opposite! I was left lovcked inside their bathroom building, un able to move, for 8 hrs .. if autozone would have followed their rules n stipulations, my extensive injuries could have been prevented! I will be looking into a law suit ..

They need qualified help for there busy time..... waited in line forever for one thing
