This place is the best way to minimize the amount of plastic you waste. You can get all kinds of products in bulk like laundry detergent, dish soap and lotion, and they also sell bar shampoo, and beauty and skin care products among other things. I didnt even know I could get plastic free floss until I went there!

I absolutely love this store. Truly useful products that have been thoroughly vetted. And always something new! The greenest of the green. Wash out your refillables and go now.

Welcoming, and knowledgeable staff! It is always a pleasant visit even if I dont always find what Im looking for. From sunscreen, to toilet cleaning supplies, and cards. They do their best to have the all the essentials.

This company is amazing. I live in Denver, CO and have been looking for good toothpaste tab for a few years now. Ethos is my go to. Their customer service is AMAZING as well. In my last order, I received a smaller amount than ordered and they IMMEDIATELY responded and send me a whole new pack. Couldnt recommend more.

I really wanted to love this place since I’m so in tuned to being ‘green’ and watching my carbon footprint. That said I was a bit annoyed to find that I paid such a high price for some Stainless Steel straws and one bamboo unit. I was charged $32.00 (roughly $8.00 each). I saw a similar selection on Amazon for $6.00. Oh well…. Live and learn. Also, I never received my receipt that was supposed to be emailed to me.

Ethos is a zero-waste shop in Downtown Capitola. It gets a mix of curious tourists and dedicated eco-friendly regulars. We loved it so much the first time as tourists that now we keep coming back and even brought our own jars to refill.We came with a list, the girl working today noticed and was super encouraging and helpful, she answered any questions we had and helped us navigate the variety of products they carry. The girl did offer to custom order anything they didnt already carry for us too, as my wife is pregnant and they dont have a large baby / mommy section yet (but theyre working on it).This was also our first time bringing our own jars to fill up and using their FillJoy system. I had a blast using it as its really intuitive. It lived up to its name.We have visited a few times now and its always been a fun place to shop, feels good knowing were being more eco-friendly and zero waste. They have never been pushy about why or preachy, and they simply stand behind the products they carry.

I was so pleased to find this gem in downtown capitola, selling products that I believe in. Everything is designed to be reusable and refillable. This is the way the future needs to be. I did my part by buying a stack of washable facial cloths. They have all kinds of refillable items like CBD oil, laundry detergent, body lotion and more

Beautiful store with great products and great service! The recycling bins brought me in the first time - they have bins to recycle things that arent accepted in the SC County recycling system. The products keep me coming back - theyre top quality and prices are on par with other shops online so I shop here to support a great local business. Thanks for being part of our community!

My favorite store in Santa Cruz! Ethos has hit the mark for birthday presents, Christmases, baby showers, and thank you gifts. Everything Ive bought for myself has been fabulous and functional. The owner and employees trial all the products so they give great advice! Favorite products: shampoo bars, frisbee from recycled fishing nets, block of dish soap, cute whale wax wrap.

The shop is absolutely beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and every thing is curated to perfection. Every time I go, I have to stop myself from buying everything in the store! The focus on local/sustainable goods is also a major plus.

Zero Shop staff was great!!! The people working were very nice and easy to talk to. The selection of items for reducing plastic waste was incredible and it looks like they have some more exciting things in the works. It is very exciting to have a great new shop in the village that is doing good things for the community and environment.

After spending the afternoon relaxing on the beach it was time to wander the shops of Capitola, so glad I stumbled across The Zero Shop, a lovely shop full of products so you have zero waste.There girls were very friendly and helpful.I picked up a few gifts also 😃

The people there were so nice and the building was spacious and simple, but also cozy. I think they’re new, so they weren’t perfect. But they said sorry for taking so long. They were energetic and polite-which makes me love it there.
