The Hook Dispensary in Capitola is at the top of my list of all time favorite dispensaries because of their playful, retro atmosphere and their rock bottom prices. Now more than ever the community can use a more financially friendly method of sourcing cannabis medicine and The Hook is the place to find it! Friendly service. Cheapest prices around (on great product!). I recommend ordering online and ringing the bell when you arrive so that you can skip the line. There usually is a long one!Because its an outlet, there is no reward system (see cheap prices above). However, there is almost always a deal going for $1 prerolls or other fun prizes to try.I dont know what their process if for bringing people inside, but I have noticed that some pushy people walk-in ahead of me even though Ive pushed the bell. Thats kind of a bummer. Its mostly old white guys who do this.

A real destination location! We just moved here from Houston, Texas, and this is our favorite store. We came here for the first time on a visit a few weeks before we moved here and we have not stopped coming back! As an outlet store, the prices are incredibly reasonable and the selection seems to cycle in and out but there is always something good. I absolutely love The Hook! I am not saying this lightly, as someone who does their own research before any visits to a place, I really want you to believe me, definitely go see them and their work! Each time I’ve been, the employees have always always been kind, smiley, and so knowledgeable! I feel safe and everything is safely distanced! On my first time here, the helpful Hook employees helped me search for the “Teas” my favorite new consumption method! They didn’t just say go on a website, they literally looked up menus for me and found them for me!!! I bought a complete tin set with their help! The prices already amaze you and the quality is just as amazing! I’ve explored a lot of dispensaries and the Hook is without a doubt a top choice any and every time! Tried this place for the first time last week, and my order had a product with a bunch of seeds in it! I called them immediately to see and they told me to bring it back in and they “would see what they could do”, but when I returned to the store there was a line of 10 people waiting so I said screw it and drove away. This might not be their fault but it was a bad experience and I probably won’t be going back there, I don’t like paying full price for a subpar product.

Im so sad I never give bad reviews:( but I wanna let ppl know if you have a temporary license they will not let you get anything even if your just replacing your license instead of going in their system to look up your ID they just look at the receipt of the temp license which says its not valid because well its a receipt.... very disappointing and made me feel bad not going back because of this

I came in twice not particularly in my best mood. I made a mistake on reading an order and it set me off a little (I got issues). Nonetheless they are professional, provide good merchandise, and I always come home realizing how good I got it living near by HookOutlet. Hook is an amazing spot and I hope they keep doing what they are doing and do not change. So far my favorite spot in all of California (and I do not take reviews lightly). I am often too lazy to make a review if I have a good experience. But I want to give Hook the credit they deserve. Cheers and happy smoking.

While I admit to having a terrible attitude, I only wanted to buy something for a friend. I felt like instead it began as an intrusive scenario. Scanning and copying my license then where did you hear of us. I mentioned unhappily that I did not want to be interrogated. If they had something to sell me I wanted to buy and leave. You would think a weed shop would have better customer service, however it ended with me issuing an FU. Than the employee refused to tell me his name as I was leaving. What professional establishment refuses to identify the name of an employee. Like I said I was no peach and could have reacted differently. I think many things could have been done differently. Needless to say I will take My green somewhere else.

I had gone to this place a few times but today is interaction has cut me off from you forever never again. I come in in the morning with a fake 20. (Mind you I didnt know it was fake) I order my stuff once we find out its fake I apologize profusely and tear it up in front of their faces I come back a few hours later with my card not only are they visibly treating me differently but they have now changed my name on the login in between my first name in my last name is now an emoji 🤑. Recommend this place most definitely everyone I come across that happens to be in the 420 World youve got great prices minimal selection but we got to remember this is an outlet so theyre not like your regular store going to have choices of the same all the time with that said why am I applying to 3 and 1/2 * for this visit compared to many other, beyond and beyond the five star rating but on this particular visit I finally did the option of online ordering as I had a decent sized order just wanted to make sure it was ready you know time is of the essence for me and I got the confirmation order it was being processed and all of that but when I got there it wasnt ready even though I had received confirm that it was being processed so which even bothers me more is when I see a ton of bag sitting on top of the shelf waiting to be picked up and then you have people that are not busy so my order could have been process I could have gave you the money and went on my way and then would of remembered my stickers at least !g So I it give three stars customer service this day, because its really the product and the prices is 5 is hell its 10 stars all day but customer service thats the key for your business to thrive now its going to thrive anyway because people want this product and they wanted at a good quality and a good price and where they feel like theyre getting over and not the business, 😎but for me if youre just asking me about how customer services yeah I didnt like that because of my package had not been processed as it had said in my receipt that I have and they were at least remember to getting my free stickers or is it hey we ran out say something, I might be doing too much or maybe nobody even read this but thats just my biggest complaint whether Im spending $0.40 or 4000 sense 40000 cents if I do it online and it says its ready it should be ready when I walk in the door just point blank. Budtenders were good, store seemed to have options but due to COVID I assume, we werent allowed to see anything. We had to shop via a tablet while the budtender just scrolled and recommended things he liked. I am sure this is a cool shop due I wouldnt go back due to how I have to shop.

My new one and only one stop shop for all my cannabis need I was told about this place and haven’t needed or wanted to hit any other dispensary since so as a local and avid cannabis patient it’s totally affordable and top quality.

The biggest plus to me is the insanely low prices here. Dont think youre getting low quality schwag just because youre paying less. The place has a super fun vibe and nice people working there.

Payed my third visit this morning ... very kind and efficient staff ... checked their menu online so i knew what i wanted ... picked up a 1g cartridge from Skunk Feather Concentrates called The Ville which turns out to be a mix of Strawberry Kush and Bubblegum ... the very pleasant young lady who helped me requested some feedback since its a new product ... first of all upon opening the package was surprised to find gold hardware with a black ceramic tip and no stickers on the cartridge ( for some reason this bugs me) ... so it looks nice and feels solid ... I have a select battery that you just take hit to activate (no button) ... had no issue with it fitting and the draw is very nice ... was Immediately struck by the Flavor of fresh strawberries ... the effect is very pleasant, very little throat irritation ... Ive tried several brands and am a fan of Heavy Hitters ... Im really glad I went ahead and tried the skunk feather and plan to try other strains ... anyway ... The Hook is awesome ... and the prices are hard to beat ... great location great people ... will be back :)
