Price gouging via bag fees. Minimum fee you charge for bags is 10 bags ($2.50), site states that will be refunded if you do not accept the bags. I refused the bags and only .50 was refunded. This is ridiculous as when the order is bagged, they know exactly how many bags are being used for that order. Bags need to be a separate line item that are refundable, like any other line item. Also, my order consisted of one bag and the delivery person brought an empty bag as well.

Ive shopped here for about 3 years now. The only issue I ever had was when I was trying to get help and the two employees were talking about their party the night before. I stood there, and after a couple of minutes, I cleared my throat and politely said, Hey ladies, Im so glad you both scored last night, but would you please assist me? They turned bright red and helped me. Now when I come in and if I see either one of them, theyre so wonderful. Tommy, the greeter at the door is super sweet and everyone is fantastic and will go out of their way to help find things.

The one register open is just not ok. Huge line for self checkout too. Where is the manager to help out this one person at the registers??

My girl and i love target with a passion and frequently use the pick up option for when we buy our groceries today we put in a order since 7:30 said we’ll pick up today it’s now 9:36 been calling constantly since 9:20ish and no answer they keep hanging up after a couple minutes

Many things often out of stock at this Target location. It is sad because it is the only one nearby. The store could be better run and kept.

The manager on duty went out of his way for me. Cant tell you the details as it is a case by case thing they can do. It was evening, he was Latino and I wish I remembered his name. Target in Capitola has it all. The store is rather new so its always clean and stocked to the nines. Its also located at the end of a mall, with koles and Macys right out the door. I love that. The Chiles is also close and I love to take a quick Breck while I shop there to catch up on sports or to have a refreshing margaritaThe staff can be alittle busy but when they do get to you they are always pleasant and knowledgeable. This target has been a great addition to out city and mall. I shop here when I want a large variety of things all in one place. 💘

I hate this Target so much. Theres stuff laying on the floor and trash in the aisles. Something I need is always out of stock but there are carts of random items all over. The Starbucks has trash on the tables and over flowing in the bins. This is the only Target Ive been to where the items on the app rarely match the items in the store. Ive learned that if an item is out of stock, theres a good chance its in the back room if you have time to wait and can track down an employee. The line upstairs sometimes wraps around because its both the returns, online pickup, and check out for upstairs parking. The only reason I feel like it needs two stars instead of one is because some of the employees are really nice and try to help.

Ive never been to a 2 story target before!!! This store was incredible. It connected to a mall in the way that a regular department store would, yet it is Target, so it is practically priced goods where you can find everything you need! They even have a parking garage for easy access to both levels of the store, and checkouts as well on both sides. Unfortunately, I could only find restrooms on the first floor.

My Pregnant wife asked for help. The women Said she’d be there in a min she never came back. Then she asks 2 more times and each time they said they would send some one and if no one went they would go. No one showed up . So I asked my wife to leave since her back was hurting . What a shame on you target. 30 mins and more and no one to show up.

I live near the Santa Cruz harbor and have shopped at this Target about twice per week for the past 2 months. They are ALWAYS out of stock on many items. When I ask employees about the next delivery date, most are rude and do not find an answer for me. Not recommended. Check my reviews for other places and you will see I’m always positive... but this place needs serious help on inventory management. Don’t waste your time here... I won’t anymore.

Update: 1/3/21 I tried to submit a drive up order to avoid going in. I had 13 items all available through pickup in the app. I waited two hours and my whole entire order is conveniently out of stock. What a waste of time. I hate this store so much.This store is very unorganized and very lacking to say the least. I’ve visited this store a few times and have left empty handed. I went there today in search of clothing for my toddler and they literally had 3 shirts in her size. Considering they are the only store in the area selling infant and toddler items you would think they would have more stock on hand. This time they didn’t have any clothing, last time it was diapers and the time before that I had finally found an umbrella stroller in the whole city of Santa Cruz and after purchasing it, items in the box were missing. They need to improve their stock or put another target in the area.

I purchase most all of my household and personal things from Target but I mostly purchase lots of electronic goods there. There’s a certain young man named Cesar who is always there to greet me with a smile on his face! No matter what I’m interested in purchasing he ALWAYS takes the time to go over the details with me! And I guess what really is so endearing is the pride you can clearly see that he takes in his job as a Target Team Member! It’s not very often you meet a person who genuinely loves his job...however, I assure you that Cesar is one of those people! It was fast and easy. I ordered online the night before, and picked up the next day. I liked that I didnt have to necessarily have a set time to pick it up! I could pick up when it was convenient to me. I used my redcard, and that was easy too. I didnt wait long in line, and the woman was nice at checkout.

Related to ordering online for in-store pickup. Yikes. Have yo go inside to second floor then wait in line with everyone who is returning stuff or complaining at customer service

I loved the Target when I lived in Spokane, WA and it was my go to store. The Target in Capitola, CA where I now live is so much more than disappointing, I would never recommend it to anyone! Lots and lots of empty shelves. example: today, looking for a specific brand of mens underwear the only sizes available were XL, XXL and S. And very few of them. I needed a Medium. Even though I keep hoping, it is not worth the drive - ever!

Cashier, I believe her name was Stephanie? Older lady. Was incredibly rude, and judgmental. -- She was looking at me and my husband (a construction worker) who had just gotten out of work w his work clothes on as if we had no money. AS WE WERE PAYING. Spent over $400 and she still managed to continue being rude. she snatched my own target bag out of my hand and said it wasnt mine. The bag was dirty and bent, so I took it from her and asked her to look at it again. She did not apologize for this behavior. She also made my husband pick up a 30lb dog food bag from the bottom of the cart instead of having him move the cart around to scan AS SHE IS TRAINED TO DO. -- My husband and I both worked for Target years ago and know the procedures. She is not a person you want representing the company. I am very upset over this. -- We go to Target regularly and this is the first time weve experienced something like this

This is--hands down--the BEST Target on the west coast. The service is utterly sublime. Everyone complaining over lack of product must be mistaken. The workers are always putting in loads of effort, but this location is probably just understaffed.

I live in the neighborhood so love this store but very poorly managed. They had at 4pm Wed. May 13th about 15 of us waiting in one line. Of course they accomadate us by haveing (1) thats ONE singular cashier open. They had the self checkout but not moving. So pinched nerve in foot as a permanently disabled person it literally hurts to put us in a line of 15 miserable souls. Of course a boy of 16 tells me I have to wait like this. He never had pinched nerves. No accomodation and no common curtesy we need more cashiers. No brainer. So more than once I have to leave store and buy same stuff milk and bread at CVS they have cashiers available.

For what the store is, an outlet, its great. It doesnt have everything a regular target store has, but it does have quite a bit of items. Everything from food to clothes to electronics to toys. The staff here are pretty good especially some of the cashiers. Only issue is the stock of electronics.

Good shopping spot for general food ie fruit, frozen dinners, drinks, and chips. I love their gaming section and trading card selection. They have good make-up, shampoo/conditioner, hair product, and of course they sell awesome clothes for a low price. Furniture is pretty nice too for the home and decoration.

Was overcharged for two of the four items I purchased (higher than the price on the shelf tags for items that werent on sale). This store has a smaller selection than many other Target stores but it is convenient. Everytime I go to to the Capitola store, I notice how friendly it feels. Ive had plenty of returns, and theyve all gone smoothly back to my RedCard.You seem to have everything we need!

Pretty decent target, if a bit small. Unlike most targets it is a two story store, and you can checkout and park on either floor. If you are only coming for housewares, mens clothing, kids stuff, toys or electronics, save some time and park in the upper deck, as there is nothing for you downstairs.

The store is close to my house. The associates that assisted me were friendly. I can find almost everything that I am looking for in one place.

This is the dirtiest Target. Ive been to and I traveled around the USA to see the difference. Employees huddled talking and not helping customers .. Texas is the cleanest so far . I would have 1 star but I do love my target retailer.

I continue to have bad customer service experiences at the Target Store in Capitola Mall. Its happened for so long that I can no longer support Target. Tonight I came to purchase a microwave. I had called and was assured that the one on sale was in stock. When I got to the store it was not. So I continued to purchase some soda and some cheese. When I got to the register, there was a Target employee just SITTING at the register, and telling people that he was closed and that they had to wait in line After checking out in self-service and paying, I discovered that one of the soda bottles I purchased had been leaking and was flat. I told the Target employee who was sitting down AT the register that I needed to return it as there were no more in stock. He sent me upstairs, where I waited for nearly 15 minutes. When I finally reached the check-out person, she processed my refund. The amount I paid originally was $5.94. The amount refunded was $$5.62. The register person could not account for why this was different. Even though the amount of money was not significant, it is significant that a refund did not match. The check-out person could not account why it was different. When I asked for the name of the manager, she said, Oh gosh. Theres lots of them. Your best bet is to call tomorrow. I will not shop at the Capitola Mall Target, and will probably not shop Target itself anymore based on my experiences there. The aisles are constantly cluttered with broken down boxes, carts, and items waiting to be stocked on shelves. It is very difficult to find employees, and when you do they are often unhelpful.

This shouldve been made right😳I was shopping at Target yesterday They had a special if you bought $17.+ dollars on foil,plastic wrap, or baggies you would receive a $5.00 Target card I was out of almost every item listed so I spent $21.96 on the listed items. Upon arriving home I realized I had not received the a-fore mentioned card. I phoned the store to see if they would honor it next week when I would be able to go shopping again. The manager said I would have to return on the same day. I explained I do not have my own transportation. I would not be able to do that and to go on another day I would have to take Paracruz which would cost me $8.00 He just the same as told me T.S.I feel the store is at fault. They should have a method to alert the clerk that a gift card to due to the customer. I feel Target cheated me out of $5.00 When you are on a limited income$5.00 is important to you. Please tell everyone you know to be aware of this problem if they are Target customers. If you can copy this & post it to your site so the word can go nation wide. Thank you

Placed an online order for an in-store item. Drove almost an hour to find that my order had been canceled by Target. Now have to drive an hour or so over the hill to hopefully get my order fulfilled.

This is got to be one of the most unfriendly places for the disabled I have been to in a long time. Carts lock before you can get to your vehicle. That means leaving your disabled person standing there with out assistance while you get your vehicle. Of couse there are no loading zones so you have to park in a red zone to load the disabled person. Did I mention disabled slots are full. I saw no disabled placards and one young girl getting out with a stroller.So trying to head off an issue I asked if there was someone to help or a loading zone. The clerk giggled, I am sure it was a nervous giggle, but she said she did not know. She eventually called a supervisor, another little girl who also giggled. I was was told by Hanna that I could park in the red zone and run in and get him as long as it was fast. My disabled guy cant move fast, I pointed this out .... more giggles! Of course being an LE, I know better, first patrol comes along and I have a ticket. Think he will honor my request to give it to the two inappropriate giggling girls?So I left him sitting inside and drove around until I could find a parking space close enough for the cart not to lock. I am lucky this guy is a three year old going on 62. Can you say obstinate? Not only is he delayed he is physically challenged and has seizures. The time they spent giggling could have been spent helping.

The employees are ready to help and find me what I am looking for or if they dont have it give me options of what to do next.

Kind of a weird Target.. it has two stories and an escalator in the middle. Parking is no issue. Wish they had a little more variety in products. Also, the holiday items do sell out fast.

This is a nicely stocked, well-maintained, two story Target store. It also has a cart escalator, which is always a hit with my kids (and me too!).

I walked up to a register where three (yes 3) were standing I was immediately told register closed as they continued to laugh and talk. They did not guide me to the self check out. Disappointment!

I realize we all need Target. It has fun shopping and anything you need but this location has been a disappointment. Every time I go in, something is being re-merched. I know this is necessary but the employees doing it are not helpful or friendly. Also the trash cans there, inside and out are full and over flowing. Gross, hard to enjoy your shopping experience with that neglect.

This location continues to go downhill. Food is often expired and the selection of items is small. Items are typically out of stock as if staff do not inventory in the right way. The people working are seemingly confused most of the time, and cashiers act like theyre doing you a favor by having you in their line.

Found a wet vac online. Called and was told it was in stock. Showed up and after 20 mins of looking the pretty lady never could find it. Place needs more invintory control. Wasted hours on this trip for nothing.

There were tons of people in line and only two staff members ringing ppl up. After I sadly chose the slower of the two I saw the woman at the front of the line and the cashier both looking at their phones doing nothing related to payment.However they did have an over the counter medication that CVS did not so 🤷‍♂️
