I just wanted to add my two cents about these guys. I also echo everything that has already mentioned here. It was recommended from a coworker that I check them out, to help with the ongoing issues that I was having with my phone. The level of professionalism and care that was shown to me by Jermaine and Chris went well above what was expected. They’re fair and honest. I loved how fast the task was completed and appreciated being updated throughout the process. And these guys really do stand behind their work and because of that, they now have a new long term customer.

I got the logic board on my 2017 Mac completely repaired for $125 less than Apple quoted me! The service was super quick and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone with apple products who is looking to save money on repairs. He also got all the data on my computer saved which Apple told me they couldnt do!

These jokers offered me $300 for my brand new MacBook with top of the line specs. It was over $2000 new, and worth $1500+ used. Be very cautious, they are apparently fine with blatantly ripping people off.Update: I sold the laptop 10 minutes later for $1700. Thats how the used Apple market works.

Dropped my iphone for the millionth time and the screen finally cracked. My husband suggested this shop since Apple are was an annoyingly long wait. They fixed my screen in 25 minutes and threw in a screen protector! Very nice guys and a nice little shop! Fantastic customer service!

This place was very helpful. I didnt actually have anything done here or buy anything here but the people who work here were very helpful. Called about getting a screen fixed on a macbook pro and they were able to quote me over the phone. Then they also had a bunch of macbooks that I then went in to see if mine would be good trade in value towards and when I got there they looked up my macbook and realized it had applecare on it that I was not aware of. Instead of taking advantage of the situation they saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend just based on their customer service alone.

I had a problem with potential malware and had no idea what to do to remediate the problem. The tech who helped me, first off, very calmly reassured me that this was easily taken care of. He downloaded a malware detection site on my laptop and also a search engine that would help prevent future problems. Took about 10 minutes and I was back in business. I thought I would not have my laptop for days. Would I go back to Experimax if I ever had another problem? ABSOLUTELY!

What can I say that hasnt already been said about this store and Jason, the owner? I was at wits end with my business coming to a complete halt because of my iMac computers (lack of) performance. Jason understood what I was saying right away, and explained everything to me in a way I understood the game plan for how to go about solving my problems with my computer.From the time I dropped off my computer at the end of the business day, they had it finished and totally overhauled by the end of the next business day. I couldnt believe my eyes when Jason powered it back on and every program opened effortlessly, and the simultaneously with no issues. I was in the market for a Mac Book Pro and Jason had exactly what I needed. He had refurbished a mid-2014 model with low use. Jason took time to ask me questions and listened to what I told him. Additionally he was able to guide me to a monitor and docking station that would meet my needs. He did some research and emailed me with his recommendations. I am thrilled to find a store that can service all my Apple products and help people obtain high quality refurbished items at a lower cost.

Excellent and quick service, spilled piping hot coffee all over my MacBook air and they were able to have it back to me cleaned up and good as new within 48 hours, I was amazed it was even salvageable because we tried to turn it on a dozen times in a panic after the incident because we didnt know any better.These guys do excellent and honest work, could not recommend them more highly.

I had a very positive experience with Jason & his team at Experimax. They were recommended to me by Apple support during these Covid-19 days. My system was *really* slow. Experimax installed a flash drive on my iMac, taught me about some other system configuration issues that had slowed the system down ... and it worked! My ~4+ year-old low-end iMac became peppy! Then my system failed (unrelated to 1st issue) so I took the iMac back. They diagnosed the problem (power supply failed) and installed a spare they had at no charge. Jason even drove the system to my house ~2 hours away. (I think he was sympathetic because of a bad shoulder injury I recently suffered.) All-in-all, it was a very positive experience and I give them a big thumbs up and recommend them highly.

I visited Experimac recently because I was having a lot of issues with my mac that I used for work. I was really impressed with how knowledgable the staff was. They were able to resolve my issues quickly and they presented me with appropriate solutions. They were extremely fair (arguably generous) with their service fee too! (I personally havent had a lot of luck with other electronic retailers, especially the big ones. A lot of times I feel like I receive little to no value from the services they provide.) I was so pleased with Experimac that I decided to purchase a new Mac for personal use. Experimac was a new and better experience for me, they did not try to sell a bunch of nonsense to me or the most expensive model in their store. They listened to my needs as a mac user, as well as my frustrations with my current circumstances, and directed me to some great options. I was so impressed by the quality of their products and how economical their prices were. I could have never purchased a device like this off the Apple store shelves on my current budget. Beyond fixing my old work mac issues and helping me decide on the product best suited for me, they also offered to help me set up my mac and transfer some files - free of charge! I brought my Mac laptop in for a battery replacement. When it as returned to me the mouse pad did not function, and the supposed new battery would not charge and various functional problems. After being rudely spoken to by a bad smelling young boy and a run around the Owner tried to assist and apologize for the problems. First I question if the battery installed in my machine was new. Battery life has been only a couple hours compared to 10-12 when new. The internals of my machine are loose and can be heard moving around if treated like a normal laptop. Despite this companies rating be aware that they very possibly are seeing fake reviews.

A few days ago, I spilled water on the keyboard of my MacBook Air. I took it to the Apple Store to have them quote me $755 plus tax for an entire new motherboard. I felt that was too much, so I figured I would see what Experimac had to say. I was blown away by my excellent experience. I spoke with Zack and he addressed all of my concerns, and went above and beyond for me. He was honest, understanding, and obviously experienced with Apple products. Since my spill was mild, I was very lucky and all the motherboard needed was a good cleaning. Zack took time to give my board a great cleaning, and my laptop is as good as new! The price of the repair went from $755 plus tax at Apple to $133 out the door at Experimac! I cant thank these guys enough. I would recommend this company to any of my friends/family. Dont waste time at the Apple Store, go here first!

These guys rock! I have a 4.5 year old Mac Book Air that was I was having issues with trying to connect to my printer just out of the blue. I was getting the spinning wheel. I tried everything but could not get it to reconnect. Then I was having the same spinning wheel issues in Word and Excel. I took it in to Experimax and Jermaine and Zach knew immediately what to do to fix it. It turned out that an old anti virus software was bogging everything down. They took care of that problem for me and also did an entire CPU refresh for me and even cleaned up the outer case of my computer. It looks and runs like a brand new machine now! I also talked to Jermaine about the battery life being horrible on my iphone 7. I was wanting to know what would be the best phone to upgrade to. He just recommended that I replace the battery on my phone and use it for as long as I can. All of this work was done within an hour to both my computer and my phone. This was by far the best experience I have had with anything computer related. These guys are honest, friendly, knowledgable, and trustworthy. And the prices are extremely reasonable. I will never go anywhere else for my Mac related issues or purchases from now on. I cant say enough good things about the entire experience. Thanks again for the great work guys!

Timing is everything! About two weeks ago I stumbled upon these guys and decided to follow their page out of curiosity. Boy did it serve me well! My MacBook Air display died on me and they got me back in the game super quickly, and for an excellent price. The service is top notch! Great communication throughout the whole process and they went above and beyond to take care of me. I am incredibly satisfied and recommend these guys without hesitation.

Staff was helpful by phone and store experience was as described on phone. Also mentioned that no one in their right mind would help us. They suggested we spend $1000 on a newly released item...In just 2 short hours, Experimac replaced the upper casing of the keyboard to repair 2 broken keys, replaced our battery, and all of the necessary screws to hold everything together for only $200 plus tax!! Took my MacBook Pro here because it was having a battery issue do to the battery going through soMany charge cycles. The people working took care of my battery twice replacing it and trying toFigure out the issue for a fair price. When a resolution wasn’t meet they then installed my old battery and gave me a full refund no questions asked. Although we didn’t come up with an answer i left as a satisfied customer and would still send people their direction for Their Mac needs!

Saved me $2,400. Apple store told me my MBP was not fixable. Not only did Experimac fix it but they upgraded the RAM AND the Processor so my machine is now faster and like brand new. This place is a gem.

My cat knocked my MacBook Pro onto the tile floor and I thought she completely killed it- but I brought it in and not only did they let me know that it just needed a new screen, but they happened to have the part on hand, and they fixed in less than half an hour and it was hundreds less than I was planning on having to spend! My MacBook stopped charging and I almost cried. I had to use an old PC laptop, and it was torture. Apple was going to charge us a ridiculous amount of $, but then we found Experimac. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They showed us the issue (water damage) and had it fixed by the next day for a quarter of what we would have paid. CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!

Experimac was truly a great experience. Although I wasnt interested in purchasing a product today, my buddy was looking for a MacBook. Fortunately, these guys have been popping up on my Facebook occasionally for some time now and I suggested him and I go give a visit. The half hour drive was worth it.The folks here clearly showed and explained very well what products were available and we werent pressured or trying to be sold a better more expensive laptop. We were told what was exactly being shown. The capabilities, power, how long itd last, and what services theyd perform (which, mind you, are many).I expected this place to be a scram type of business but truly theyre something great. My buddy and I were the only ones in there at first until several more showed up and told me this place must treat people well. If youre looking for a great Mac for any sort of work, schooling, ect, youve found your place!

I went into the Canton Expericac location about a couple weeks ago and to say that I am pleased, grateful, and relieved is an understatement. I spoke with Zach and told him about my MacBook (2011 15 MacBook Pro) that I had recently purchased from the Akron Experimac store. I had only had it for about 6 months (still had my receipt and everything from July 2018) before it stopped coming on. Zach took a look at it, asked me questions about its functionalities and with every question he asked my MacBook fit the description of the listed problems. Basically my $800 MacBook was completely useless because of a known internal failure that stopped it from turning on, had white screens, and was dead. There was nothing that could be done for it.Zach explained to me that the 2011 15 MacBook was known for that problem and a lot of stores stopped selling them for that very issue. Of course I wasnt able to take it back to the Akron Experimac store because they literally no longer exist/closed. He told me that I wasnt the first and wont be last person to come in regarding a garbage laptop being sold overpriced and doesnt work after a short amount of time. Not going to lie I completely lost it and burst into tears, I was out of $800 and couldnt even hold the store I bought it from accountable.Zach reassured me that hed do everything he could to help me. To make a long story short he literally gave me a 2010 15 MacBook Pro off his floor, put in my hard drive, and gave it to me. He explained that he personally worked on this computer (just like any computer in and at his location) and if I was to have any problems and hed fix it for me. I was so shocked that hed do this because please understand that he didnt have to since Experimacs are independently owned and operated he had no obligation to even help me beyond telling me what was wrong with my original MacBook. He said to me that Id rather have you leave my store with something and make you a lifelong customer than to leave you high and drive over a store that gives Experimac a bad name.. this is hands down the best customer service Ive ever had. LET ME BE CLEAR -- this wasnt because he gave me a MacBook but because he genuinely answered all my questions, heard my problem, explained thoroughly the situation from the Akron store, and then gave me a solution that was appropriate for my situation. I am forever grateful to Zach for his kindness, knowledge, and thoroughness.. so if you need ANY MacBook or Apple product needs come see Zach first.. hell be able to tell you anything you need to know. My brother and I had taken his laptop here and they did a fantastic job breaking down the issues and options in way more honest and strait forward detail than the Apple Store folk. No up-selling, just direct answers and affordable solutions. His 2012 macbook pro is 50x faster now. Before we came here he was thinking of scrapping it and buyin new. The guys at Experimac saved him about 1-2k! Turn around time is also super quick - they had my iPhone 5 screen fixed in a half hour! Seriously cant recommend this store enough.

The guys at experimac were very personable, extremely knowlagable and the prices for repair were a relief. When I initially took my MacBook to the apple store, I waited an hour (even with an appointment) just for them to tell me I needed to buy a new MacBook Pro and that I could finance if I didnt have the money that day.. no thanks. The guys at experimac informed me to the contrary that my older (mid 2012) MacBook pro was one of the better builds and that if I just upgraded to a solid state drive she would be up and running fast again! Sure enough, my laptop seems brand new and I am having no more lag when opening programs or hopping online. And the best part is it saved me a thousand bucks! Ill be bringing all my apple devices in here from now on.
