Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and received a call the night before appointment asking me to call them back as soon as possible. Did not see the call until after 7, their closing time. Went in at 7:00 am for the appointment and they said they called me. The guy on the phone did not say why they were calling. They did not have the hitch, why on earth would you not say that in the phone message? Wasted my time and then the lady in the morning says the hitch guy wont be available for the next week. What a joke... If you need a hitch, do not use Uhaul at Burnsville.
Still sitting here waiting for hitch to be installed 2 hours after appointment time. Called yesterday to confirm appointment made weeks ago when parts were ordered.Staff could care less! I should have read other reviews before comitting to this place. Dont make the same mistake!
Fire the manager made 3 separate appointments they said I wasnt iin the system 3 weeks in a row I I talked to the manger every time I said its been 3 week he had no solution and hung up
They sell propane but they dont like to and treat you like second tier customer. They will make you wait outside until they have no truck rental customers.
Zero StarsThe only thing this store excels at is wasting its customers time. I scheduled a hitch installation two weeks prior to the appointment, the day of the appointment I show up, and they dont have the parts to complete the job. Are the employees helpful, do they apologize, do they come up with a solution? If you answered no to all the above you are correct! Their attitude was oh well, best of luck to you. I had to walk them through different options that could end with me getting my hitch. What was supposed to be done and completed at 2pm wasnt ready until 4:30pm.When I complained to the manager John about how long the install took and how they didnt have the parts ready at the time of my appointment he said that he didnt have to get the parts I needed he could have just cancelled my appointment and made me come back some other time. This is how the manager thinks about customer service! If he has the parts for your appointment hes going above and beyond for you!I would not recommend them, go anywhere else because the worst that could happen is that theyre as bad as these guys!

I had an appointment at this location for a hitch install, when I arrived I was told the hitch was not in and the person who installs hitches was not working. No attempt was made to contact me to let me know this. The people working at the location were very rude and had no interest in helping me resolve the issue or reschedule. When I asked to speak to the manager they told me I could call 1-800-gouhaul. I did call U-HAUL Customer service and after speaking with 3 different people for over an hour and half UHAUL confirmed that the hitch was shipped to the location a week earlier when I made the appointment, but it appeared that the store did not Check in the hitch so it was showing up in their system as not there. Another appointment was made through the corporate office and I was told that the store manager would call me after I filed a formal complaint. I never got a call from the manager so I called the store to confirm my appointment and confirm that the hitch was in fact there. The person at the local store told me they saw my appointment on their schedule but still insisted that the hitch was not there. At this point I was beyond frustrated canceled the appointment and went down the road to Burnsville hitch who got me in the same day, treated me with kindness and respect and did a fabulous job on the hitch installation. I will NEVER use U-Haul again for anything, worst customer service I have ever experienced!
