My r/hearing aid developed issues the day before scheduled surgery for my back. My wife stopped in to see if anything could be done for them. Thanks to Sound Point, the issue was corrected and I was able to hear the surgery team, during the Post op recovery process!
My experience was GREAT! Thanks to Dennis, my hearing and confidence has increased!
The people at Sound Point are good, competent, caring people.However, for the SECOND TIME during the warranty period my right aid is being sent back to the factory. My wife!s ( same purchase date, brand, make and model as mine ) is also being sent back for similar reasons. The Sound Point people get why we are disappointed in this performance; time will tell if they ( are able to ) do anything significant about it.
I was just at SoundPoint today! They are all so friendly and knowledgeable. Dennis is the best, knows his stuff that is for sure, and fun to talk to.
First they said it would be 20 dollars to change my tubing on my hearing aid. When my husband got there, we were told that there would be an additional 60 dollar fee that was never mentioned as the scheduler forgot to inform us of the office visit fee. My husband had made an appointment to make sure we were able to quickly get my tubing changed. The audiologist informed my husband he would have to wait 2 hours before he could even pick my hearing aids up! He was with another client and was too busy to help us. So 2 hours later, my husband was informed that the tubing was glued into the hearing aid. He could not help us. The audiologist was rude, acted like we were bothering him by being there, and the fees are way too high for something as simple as a tubing change. We will not be back.
Dennis helped me out tremendouslyfixed my hearing aid and took care of the other oneappreciate his hard work and dedication to the business of helping people hear.
I am a long time customer -all with Kathy. If I didnt know better I would say she has a customer service chip implanted in her. She is is extremely knowledgeable and professional, who listens to her patients needs. All in all I can recommend Kathy specifically and SoundPoint as well.She has met my needs and helped me a great deal.
Not to happy with accuracy of pricing. Was told one price for a pair of Starky Livio’s on the initial visit to replace my aging hearing aids. I went in to start the process of updating then the new price has come to light. The new price is $1,600 MORE than what I was quoted originally. Was given the standard apology... but, no honoring the original pricing. VERY disappointed when I left. Next step is to call the person in charge and see if they will make this right.
I have had three good experiences at Soundpoint. The first testing with with Renata, who was substituting at that time for Kathy. She was excellent and careful. The second was with Kathy, who is very careful in explanations and helping me learn everything I needed to know to wear the new hearing aids. She is also good at knowing the client, for example, she knew that perhaps given my age I might have difficulty using an extra device on the hearing aid in the beginning. I was also extremely late for the appointment and was most embarrassed, but Kathy was kind about this error. She is just a delightful, understanding person, as well as a person I will continue to trust as I go back. On my return, Kathy was once again kind, friendly, helpful, just a good person to sit across from and tell her everything.
I have always had a great experience when I go to have an annual ckd up. Katherine does listen to what my needs are and always help solve any problems. I am wearing my hearing aids more and love. Being able to hear sounds I never heard before. What a wonderful experience.
I really dont think the hearing aids are worth what I had to pay for them. Does not separate background noise from others.
I am very impressed with SoundPoint Audiology - Burnsville. Katherine Young is an expert with Starkey products and was very helpful getting me fitted with my new Halo hearing aids. I am confident any issues that come up in the future will be taken care of completely.

I have been going to Soundpoint in Burnsville for 4 plus years. When Kathy was there the service was Excellent. Now they are changing everything and want to start charging you for your appointments. I feel if you purchased your hearing aids with them the same services should be there until new hearing aids are purchased. The most recent visit left a sour taste with me and I will not be returning there. When I need new hearing aids I will look to a company that values the customer and not the almighty dollar. As if they dont charge enough for a pair of hearing aids in the first place. I do not recommend this outfit for hearing aids.
I just came from an appointment with Katherine Young and was very impressed with the thorough exam and testing. I felt that I received an honest evaluation and explanation to my hearing situation. I would recommend Soundpoint Burnsville highly and will go back in the future for follow up. Thanks
Everyone is happy and friendly. Kathy is perfect audiologist so knowledgeable and easy to talk too. She is the best I have gone to.
I have been using hearing aids from Soundpoint since 2010. Glad I have them. Kathy and her staff have always spent time listening to my concerns and suggested ways to improve use of my aids. I recommend other people to her, because of helpfulness and follow up services.
Oftentimes I wonder if I am receiving all that I can from my hearing aids. I often cannot hear what people are saying when there are others in the vicinity. People appears no to be speaking up as far as I can tell, but I am not certain that this is true unless someone else says they cannot hear. Is it rude to ask people to look at me when they talk? That does help.Also, although I have told you that I dont hear well on the TV, I still dont hear it well. I know, I can just turn it up if I am alone, but if others are with me I wish the hearing aid would help me hear without turning it up, thus making it too loud for others.

Kathryn is very helpful and interesting. I do wish I could hear better on the phone when I am wearing my hearing aids. There is always some buzzing or background noise.
They are most helpful and nice to service your needs after the purchase. They set the bar high for customer care.
