Don runs a great shop. They are all very knowledgeable, polite, kind, and not at all condescending. Definitely our shop for good.

After 10 years with a mechanic that was a family friend, who eventually ended up retiring due to health reasons, I had to search out another mechanic to service my familys vehicles. I came to A & A Auto Services and Albert and his employees have done a outstanding job thus far. Outstanding customer service, outstanding staff that have the utmost professionalism, and they get the job done in a timely manner. Most important of all is the honesty I have observed with job recommendations. The hourly rate they charge is competitive to Industry standards, and Im willing to pay it to make sure the job is done right the first time. Albert the owner makes you feel like youre a part of his family. I would highly recommend this shop.

Don, and the crew are nothing short of AMAZING! Customer service at it’s finest, and Don goes the extra mile to assure customer satisfaction. I’ve known Don on a professional level for nearly 10 years, and have an unquestionable trust that the job will be done right. They are by far the go to automotive repair shop for all my vehicles.

I have been going to this shop for years, they typically have done a great job in the past but this last time there were new clerks and mechanics working. Only 1 of them was wearing a mask, the other was digging food out of his teeth with his bare hands (did not wash them afterward). They also had a construction team working on the remodel who were also not wearing masks.I went in because the plastic piece around my tire had started coming loose. I asked them to take a look at it, they said it was fixed, not even a week later the whole peice fell off resulting in having to pay for a tow truck to haul my car to another shop because ALL of the screws were gone! Im not sure how they missed it but I am really annoyed with the complete disregard of the global pandemic and the poor quality of their work with the new staffing changes.

Go elsewhere. Honestly. Please stay away. I was informed i would be charged only for labor, $130 for the hour. I specifically timed the “labor” portion and was charge $69.57 for TEN minutes of work. No parts. Owner Victor was unapologetic but was certainly aware of the dishonest nature of his business. I urge you, if you need honest work done, go elsewhere. Very dissatisfied and beings I am local I will certainly go elsewhere. If something as small as 10 min can be chalked up like this, one can only imagine how they are likely taking advantaged of their customers. Note: this is specifically related to the owner and his business practices. I’m sure the mechanics are very good but you WILL be taken advantage of.

Very reliable, honest, and trustworthy mechanics! We were leaving for a big road trip and came to these guys to get our car fully inspected. We ended up needing some rear shocks, which we had heard previously from other mechanics.

This company is a scam!! Don’t listen to these FAKE REVIEWS!! They take advantage of people that don’t know, and pay for new tires to be installed and misc repairs — that they didn’t do . Now the tires won’t keep air, the tires were fine prior to installation— now none hold air .The owner can’t keep up with his lies . Overcharged and then admitted they didn’t repair after 3weeks .

Needed to have my radiator replaced as it was cracked! I did not realize this was the problem, though they quickly identified the issue and had it repaired the next day. All this with a car that is quite a bit older. I am sure the radiator was not an easy thing for them to find. But, they did it, kept me updated on what was happening, and I was only out my car for less than 30 hours. When I picked it up the mechanic was there and gave me insight into other things on the car. Really appreciated this. Way to go Don and Faisal and the mechanic (sorry never caught your name). Appreciate you all!

I had an issue with my ABS and AWL systems. Brought my vehicle in for diagnosis, and later, repair. Service was great and very quick. Worked specifically with Brandon who was upfront with very fair pricing and also went out of his way to show me the exact part and what was wrong with it. I cant thank them enough for helping me out and being incredibly friendly and easy to work with.

Called around - I’ve had 2 oils changes here. Read these reviews. You get what you give and you give what you get - sometimes. Rather than discuss all of those - I’ve received great flexibility, general auto work, and customer service. I’m really not sure how they operate, but they deliver what I want and how I want it. I am happy to say that the customer service is usually great here. I have had multiple good experiences with my cars here. My parents are also returning customers. Today, however, after waiting to come in after my cross-country drive of 1,400 miles, I was disappointed to learn that they would not honor a “non-expiring” free oil change. I had proof on my email from a few months back, and was informed that people were building up too many on their accounts (I should have had one), resulting in them getting rid of the program. Unfortunately, I am not a rogue account with 10. I’m my opinion, it’s better to retain a customer than eat a $30 oil change bill. Sorry to say, but this is the reason I will not be returning.If you say something is “non-expiring” please honor it. I will no longer recommend your services.

I just set up my vehicle to get new tires because my vehicle had a flat and the others all had slow leaks.I called 4 different locations.Only this shop that handles tires that I called even bothered to ask if I was ok. And took the time to fully explain the benefits and draw backs of their different tires they quoted me with.As reference I spoke with Tires plus, the good year across the street, and Auto Center across town.Only this place gave me a range of options meeting different price points, and again explaining the differences.When I arrived to drop of my vehicle this morning they were very friendly.I would recommend this shop to my friends for really any service. But especially tires. Because seems like every other place is trying to rip you off.

Ive only been here twice, counting today, but they took great care of both me and my car during the most eventful oil change appointment of my life, so far.TLDR: Their prices are competitive and its a convenient location from my new home in Eagan. They offer flexibility with appointment drop-offs and have gotten me scheduled for same-week service both times Ive scheduled oil changes. Not only is their service game on point, but their customer service is attentive and caring to an unparalleled level, in my experience. I highly recommend this business, specifically for oil changes and ethical care from both employees and the owner.The long-story-short version started when I came in for a scheduled 10am oil change and tire patching/repair. I had an encounter with another customer in the store where he made a vague, soliciting comment while the auto desk attendant was away assisting another customer. When I told him thats sketchy, no thank you, he quickly left without an explanation or buying anything inside. I didnt say anything to the employees at the time because I hoped it would be a one-time incident.After getting checked in at the auto desk, I sat on a blanket to read outside by the large light-up sign on the south end of the property while I waited. About half an hour later, while I was on the phone with one of my bosses and taking notes, the same man stopped his truck on CTY RD 11, about 20 feet away from me, to yell out a similar question out his window at me, then speed off when I yelled in response.After my car service was finished, I went inside and warned the employees, who were equally offended by the audacity of this creep and continuously offered condolences for his behavior, then they notified the owner. They were incredibly compassionate and offered up photos of security camera stills so I could get a license plate number. (One of the employees, I believe his name was Don, MADE SURE THE OFFICE DOOR WAS OPEN WHILE I WAS IN THE BACK WITH TWO MALES SO I WOULDNT FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. Thats the kind of mindfulness we need in the world; thank you for being you, Don.) The owner also gave me the phone number for the non-emergency Burnsville line so I could pass on the details, in case this guy was a repeat offender. They were SO WONDERFUL and Im extremely grateful for the response, from both employees and the owner.I wont second guess where to get my car services done in the future because I know there are kind and hardworking people at Burnsville Auto Repair. I would have loved to have shook each of their hands today while thanking them, but COVID, ya know?

Cant Trust These Crooks. Cody told me a tire band that holds the air sensor in place within the tire was 100 to replace. Plus $30 to mount and balance which I paid them for them only for. Verified this with my brother, who is an ASE Master Mechanic, out of state said the band cost $15.00. Gas station down the street quoted $30.00 and told me the tire A&A just mounted was out of balance approx. 4.75 ounces. However, Cody did refund when I brought receipt from other tire shop. Figured I would give these guys a second chance with a small thing. BUYER BEWARE!

Easily the best car shop in Burnsville. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had them replace the struts in my car and they had it done the same day (YMMV). Their prices are good too.----------------Followup: After 1 year and 1 new vehicle, they still have outstanding service. I trust these folks with my vehicle and so do my family members. Theyre honest, knowledgeable, and polite.----------------Follow up again, on 8/28/18: still take my vehicle here. Still very happy with the service they provide. Thankfully with a newer vehicle I make less frequent visits but they always take the time to show me whats wrong, how it was fixed, and are happy to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this place.

I had my truck in the shop for a radiator flush that turned into a head gasket job and rebuild of the whole coolant system and upper engine, Yikes! To make matters worse, the service manager Cody, quit in the middle of the process. I had a trip to leave on the 30th of August and things werent looking good! But hallelijah, the new service manager, Steve came in and got everything done in time and saved my vacation.Steve is a real pro!!!

Even with their parking lot being repaved, they still managed to get through the repairs to my car, and all four tires being replaced within a morning and early afternoon. To top it all off I got a free loaner car to run my errands.

I dont normally leave reviews, but the service I received from Burnsville Auto Repair was outstanding. My car had been making a terrible noise when it got up to highway speeds. Loud enough that I could not hear the radio. I brought the vehicle to Burnsville Auto Repair, and was blown away by the customer service I received from Corbet and Bryce. Corbet is very to-the-point, but its obvious he knows his stuff. After a very short wait, he and Bryce stated that new tires should solve the problem. I was so relieved since I was told by the dealership previously that I needed a new suspension system. The dealership never once mentioned tires. Corbet showed me on the tires themselves what was causing the noise, and then listened to me when I explained what I wanted from a new set of tires. I asked about the suspension since the dealership said I basically needed a whole new system, and he said that everything there looked good, and did not need to be replaced. I walked into this shop expecting the worst, and walked out extremely happy. My car is back to normal, and rides beautifully. It turned out to be a simple fix, and very few repair shops are that honest. Would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here.

Best experience Ive ever had with auto repair shop! No credit check financing.. my family was in a bit of a pickle when our car was having troubles and they were so nice and courteous! Albert was so much help! They even provided a car while ours was getting repaired! Theyve made forever customers out of us!

I didnt have service done, but my cars engine gave out across the street. The manager at A & A saw that I was having trouble and helped me. After I couldnt get my car started I used my insurance to tow it to their garage where Don gave me the unfortunate news that the engine needed major repairs. I decided to not do the repairs, as the car was already quite old. Through it all he was very helpful and showed genuine empathy towards my situation. With great merit and character A & A easily earns 5 stars.

The staff are very helpful, and prices are certainly fair. They do great work and have a good waiting area, even with young kids. I have had oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, balances, and more serviced on my 2010 Mazda and 2013 Toyota Hybrid.

Staff were easy to work with and were very honest in their services. They assisted me with the whole process of trying to repair my car and work with me when it was time to scrap the vehicle, as well. I would recommend their services any day.

Friendly service. Seems like a hole in the wall gem. I got a Welcome to the neighborhood coupon for an oil change. Each oil change comes with the works of getting fluids topped off, tire pressure checks, light checks, etc..I also asked about a squeaking in my engine and they assessed and asked me first if I wanted the belt changed. I didnt feel bamboozled. They were upfront with prices and giving quality work. Average prices. Door is just hard to find.

I have had work done several times from these guys and they consistently exceed my expectations! It is really hard to find a shop that not only has fair pricing BUT has amazing customer service. Perry and his crew are proactive and always deliver on what they promise. And the fact that I get a free car wash coupon with any service is a bonus perk! I will be back!

Albert and the staff have been taking care of my families cars for a number of years now and have always been great. I always get a fair price with timely service. I have even purchased coupon cards that have saved me a significant amount of money. With the card, I can always get the regular preventative maintenance done without breaking the bank. Stunning lack of professional accountability and expertise. Here is a summary of my personal experience and some things to consider before you visit this shop:1) Shockingly disrespectful.2) Lacking professional accountability.3) Either a gap in automotive expertise or ethics - hard to say which.(also)4) You have much better options near by.I came to Burnsville Auto Repair for a quick part replacement. After paying my bill for this service and getting into my car to leave, I was bombarded with warning lights in regard to my ABS system.I returned with my concern, and was immediately met with nothing but denials, contempt and condescension from both the owner and the technician on duty. They denied the possibility that an error was made but would take a look. After plugging my car into the their computer, they quickly updated me that there was an issue with my ABS system (citing a slew of possibilities that would require further diagnosis) and again reaffirming there is nothing they could have possibly done to cause this. They even went so far as to blame me and claim that I did not see and/or was ignoring the ABS lights the entire time. (side note: due to my original issue with my car I was actually LOOKING for service lights - there were none. There were also 4 blaring warnings which were impossible to miss... though somehow, the technician who worked on my car did when he pulled my car out of the garage..hmm).Poor customer service aside, the extreme coincidence did not sit well with me, so I called a dealership and another nearby shop, receiving confirmations that there is quite a bit that could have happened in the repair process that would have caused this issue. I brought my car in to be looked at by another party, and within minutes they found that the fuse for my ABS system was removed from its correct slot and was housed in the vacant slot next to it. The other shop also pulled the codes and code history, showing that this issue read as an OPEN CIRCUIT for my ABS system (which clearly points to the fuse).When I returned to tell the owner what we discovered (as sort of a professional case study), he continued to deny the possible error - even going as far as to walk away from me mid-conversation. In my entire life, I have never been treated with such utter disregard and disrespect by a service provider.In my opinion, if you are looking for a shop that has both professional expertise and accountability, visit a different shop. In fact, Master Automotive down the road fits the bill for both - they will be earning my business from now on.

My sister had brought her car here for an oil change. And one of the technicians lifted the car on the rocker panel which pinched the driver side fender. One of the individuals by the name of Korbet denies they did anything and says they will not cover any damages done to the vehicle. It was quite evident that this shop did the damage because in the morning there was no issue with the car at all and immediately after the door and fender were damaged. It bothers me that a dishonest shop like this will not own up to the issue at hand and make things right. I would never bring any vehicle there and will never recommend them to anyone in the future. We will be speaking to our lawyer in regards to this issue.

Very trustworthy mechanics! They went above and beyond when replacing the plugs and cylinder coil on my 2004 f150 truck.This is not an easy replacement on these engines but they did whatever it took and communicated with me the whole way through!Very happy

Do not go here I came to get my car repaired and I ended up having to pay for a motor in which I got less than two years ago. I went to get my car done because it began heating up and afterwards everything went down hill. My car then started making shuttering noises when starting up and whistling when driving so naturally I went back. That was a big mistake because they told me it would cost 600 for them to get and put on the exhaust manifold so I got the part for them. They charged me 400 after that I went home and the noise was gone but the next day the noise was back. I went to them again and this time I was very curious but I set my appointment. The receptionist to me in these word exactly “I’ll schedule you when my good mechanic will be working” I should have just took my keys back. Later that day they called me telling me they wanted 800 to fix the car claiming that it was old and breaking down and that the exhaust manifold was not letting air go through. At that point I was done and just told them I would pick up my car. My car got worse and started whistling louder and I went to a better mechanic that told me the put the exhaust in wrong and I would need a WHOLE NEW EXHAUST. Then they told me that they messed up the motor when the put a drill in and it broke off, WHICH THEY LEFT IN, and now the motor is messed up in which I will have to buy a new one. I called to tell them what they did wrong and they told me that their mechanics would never do this because they are a “professional establishment” and they would have to see paperwork to know if they did it or not. All that I got out of this response is that they can still say they didn’t and I haven’t been to any other mechanic except for the actual Chevrolet company and this time I wanted to go the cheaper route and it obviously was a bad idea. So please heed my warning and don’t ever go here for you car getting fixed. Also this is the correct repair shop. I live right near it and thought it would be best for convenience.

Hands down one of the best place Ive been to in a very long time. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Offered me coffee and showed me where to sit while waiting and even had a short conversation with me even though they were busy.The whole reason I came in the first place was because we got a coupon in the mail but they secured a lifelong customer without question. They didnt over charge me they didnt try to scam me and they even told me how to do some basic maintenance on the car if I wanted to fix things myself.They do everything but paint apparently so if you need any work done on your car Id highly recommend going to them.Grade A service. Seriously Im very impressed and hard to please.

Stopped in to have a screw lodged in my tire looked at. They came over and looked at it right away, removed the screw free of charge, and even offered to check my air pressure the next day to make sure the tire was fine. I would definitely return if my car needed work!

Both my vehicles serviced there for the past 10 years. NEVER NEVER NEVER experienced anything but honest, straight forward advise and work, including 2 separate instances where the problem was eligible for warranty coverage with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. This hadnt occured to me either time and both times they could have just fixed it and charged me, but THEY suggested I check out my warranty FIRST. They were correct on both instances. I thanked them for their honesty and will continue to to be a customer.

Worst place ever. All they do is bold face lie and everytime we took our cars in to get fixed they came back more messed up then before. Do not trust these people. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in all my life.

Oil Pressure light came on a Friday afternoon. Called around Saturday, everyone was booked. Called these guys and owner said hed get it done, even stayed open to late to accomplish his promise. Great place, glad they are close to home.

The employees at this shop go above amd beyond in their strive to keep the customer happy. Free coffee while you wait, free car wash after every service, lowest oil change around. Will only have our car serviced here.

I had Burnsville Auto swap springs on a pair of front struts. The Tech there used a vice grips to hold the shaft when tightening the top of the struts. These pliers marks scored the strut seals causing the oil in the struts to leak...the struts went bad in week. I then purchased replacement struts. When removed...and after inspecting the faulty struts it was visually obvious what had happened - Burnsville Auto were the only people that touched my struts - the tech used a pliers on the shaft - plane and simple. I called Burnsville Auto Repair and explained to them the situation. The guy who answered was a new employee (not even there when I had the work done) yet did not believe me, did not care to see the faulty struts if I brought them in, told me that using a pliers is not the process (I agreed with him a pliers on the shaft is wrong!!). Regardless of their process the tech DID use a pliers on the shaft. I am an Engineer so I like to think I can come to educated conclusion off an observation. They basically told me I was out of luck and I can talk to the owners if I had a problem. So not only was I out the price of their spring swap, I had to buy another set of struts, and replace the struts AGAIN!!...all because their Tech took the lazy way and used a pliers in my shaft...Im not happy with Burnsville Auto and I suggest you go elsewhere.

I normally like to work on vehicles myself but when I dont feel up to it, I go to AA in Burnsville. These guys and girls know what they are doing and get the job done in a timely manner. This is not one of those shops where you need to worry about getting hosed, they dont sell you stuff you do not need. As a bonus this is the only place I found in the South Metro that sells nitrous!

I’ve had work done many times here over the past decade. Stopped in from out of town for an oil change and was greeted by some of the friendliest people in auto repair business. Todd and Arianna were very helpful. This isn’t the type of place that will upsell you, just give you what you need to keep you moving. The owner Perry has always had ethical employees and out of all 3 of his shops this one is by far the best.

The owner Albert is a crooked. Brought in my BMW for water pump repair and ended up charging $ 140 more on parts. Called BMW dealerships in town so he can simply charge me the same pricing. The sign outside of the door says Match all pricing because the lowest is all BS. He will adjust labor and part costs in order to charge you the most money. DO NOT GO HERE. Owner is scamming people.

First of all if I could not give a star I would!! This place is a joke and the technicians and especially the service manager (Corbet) are not experienced enough to diagnose or fix things properly!! I brought my 2010 GMC Acadia that has had a check engine light on and it has been checked out by a dealer. The dealership specifically said your are going to need new timing chain and guides...(it is common on these). Me being a former mechanic didn’t want to tackle this myself. So i thought I would bring it to a local shop to get a estimate on getting it fixed. So brought it here big mistake!! First corbet called me and said oil was low 1/4 of a quart and the engine oil is slugged up....hmm funny dealership didn’t say anything 3 months ago when they did oil change. So he proceeded to tell me that he is positive it is not the timing chain or guides and he wants to do a oil flush and change out spark plugs because check engine light was showing misfire. So with it already being there and me not having time said fine get it done. I asked him again do the timing chain and guides need to be replaced and he said no this will solve your check engine light and issues. So I said great it is cheaper then a new timing Chain and he said yes, we don’t want you to spend your money on stuff that is not needed...this will fix the issue. So next day he called said vehicle is done everything is running great went and paid $941.. told me there is a 2 year warranty on work any issues bring it back. So got in vehicle started it up and no lights were on drove it maybe one mile check in light is on, called corbet up and turned around and he said that they need to relearn the camshaft sensor...red-flag. I asked for what reason you just changed spark plugs and oil. He said because we unplugged battery and some sensors for spark plugs. Already frustrated, I said ok. They kept it for another day because first time didn’t work on the relearn. He said ok this should fix it now. Drove it off lot and again check engine light on again. Drove it straight back and he said he will look at code again. At this point I am pretty aggravated because I spent $1000 and nothing was fixed or diagnosed properly. So left the truck again another day, didn’t receive a phone call so called them and someone answered phone and said corbet tried to call you and left a message on mine and wife’s phone... ummm ya never happened anyways I went in there next morning to se what is going on . He is now saying I need to replace timing chains and guides the first thing I brought it in there for and waisted 4 days of my time and still chad e $941 dollars. Long story short nothing was fixed horrible service. I asked to get a refund of some sort for nothing being done and he said he will check to see if we can credit it towards fixing the timing chain. I told him ya right like I trust this company. I wanted my refund. He told me he can’t do that. So I have been trying to get a hold of owner but not getting any real response. So I will be getting a lawyer involved to solve this situation. Just don’t want happening to anyone else.Corbet also said they have videotape of everything they do and I said great I want to see them because I want to verify you did the work and he said well I can’t do that... what a joke..Plus he also told me that my truck was under gmc warranty for timing chain and wasn’t true.

Ive been going here for car maintenance for over 6 years and have always gotten great service. They are not pushy, let you know about any issues they find, and give great advice.

Quick service and friendly staff. But the waiting area is just a bench inside a gas station and there was a lingering smoke smell. But free carwash!

I took my car in for repairs on Wednesday June 8th I needed to have a left front bearing assembly replaced. The service I received was excellent, the car works perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone in Minnesota.

My brought my 02 Saturn here for a stuttering & idle problem. I work with the manager Alex who seemed legit. He advised me on $600 of labor to clean the intake manifold as carbon build-up was the culprit. I asked him are you %100 certain this is the problem he confirmed his master mechanic was certain. After I picked up the car, the problem still existed. Chris was working this day and claimed the mechanic said it is running 10x better than it was... He also accused me of refusing one of Alexs recommendations (he stated I declined to replace EGR valve). He was unwilling to stand behind his work and total cost was $700 down the drain.I followed up with Alex to let him (the manager) know about my issue with the service and with Chris. He would not contact me back.Avoid this shop, they do not honor their service.
