Took my Mini Cooper here to get something small fixed that would normally cost a lot at the dealership, but I got a great deal here! Sam, who runs the shop, called me back after I left a message over the weekend and was very helpful along the process. It was quick and easy. I got my car in a day later after we spoke and it was done by the end of the work day. Sam, I felt, was very honest and he gave me a better deal than all the other places I called. This guy knows what hes doing. Very competent and reliable. Im 75 years old and bought 25 to 30 vehicles in my life and known to be mechanically minded. Raymond is the best technician that I have ever known, hes very observant, will notice the least little things, like missing rubbers that makes the vehicle runs like new. For 17 years now Xpert Auto Repair is my one stop shop for my car maintenance and repair. I did buy a 2005 honda civic from Expert Auto not only the car was so clean condition the give me a grate price and the service is grate and whatever they promise me they did it for me i will definitely recommend my friends to them. on top of that Mr SAM was so nice to me that he deliver the car to my house. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Sam will rip you off. I was a Customer here for 5 years and I bought a Chevy HHR off of him. 4 months later the engine block cracked and the guy had the audacity to tell me it was my fault, that I had hit something. Hit what, a telephone pole going 90? Turns out he used cheap cylinder heads when he re-built the engine, another thing he wont tell you when you buy from him. But dont take my word for it. Look at any of the reviews from people who have bought cars from him. Not a single positive oneUpdate: In regards to Sams response 1) I brought the car over to Community Chevrolet in Burbank and they confirmed the engine block cracked due to the mechanic using cheap parts(in this case, cylinder heads) 2) All those cars I drove into the ground were all cars I bought from him and owned for less than a year. Anyone reading this post, see his comment to my review to understand how he treats customers after to coming to his shop for 5 years

No~ The car engine light went on!!! Right away, open my Yelp app & looked for the nearest and BEST Yelp reviews autoshop. Thanks to all those reviews that I was able to choose an EXCELLENT autoshop!!The Service: I called before I went because I wanted to make sure there was no long wait. Juan answered the phone. Very polite & professional! He was also the one helping me to diagnose the problem when I got there. Super efficient~ He was showing me & explaining to me while he was diagnosing the problems. He even showed me those parts needed to be replaced. I felt very comfortable that I wouldnt be ripped off.The Cost: Very reasonable price!! They dont upsale me any service that I dont need. I have read several reviews about the owner, Sam. After meeting him, he is a definitely a trustworthy businessman.I will absolutely definitely come back for other car issues & maintenance.

First, let me begin my review by saying I dont like giving negative reviews about businesses.Im the type of person that if I have a bad experience with an establishment I never return and let it be.But this is a WARNING to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a vehicle from here. I purchased a VW beetle with 48,000 miles last year around February 2014. They tried to sell the car for 8,000 but got it lowered to 7,250. I thought that I was getting a deal and I even asked them if there were any previous crashes they said only one minor crash. Of course I asked for the car fax and it seemed unclear.I must admit Im a young college student and I didnt really know that much about cars but I Read there reviews on yelp and google they seemed like an honest company. I trusted that the car was in good shape because they told me it was.Six months later my transmission gives out. I said ok that might be normal for a vw so I began to save money to replace the transmission even though I just purchased the vehicle from them.Then as time went by and my transmission not working well my timing belt ripped twice within 4 months.The belts were brand new everytime I replaced them. Turns out my car had some frame damage which in turn messed with my tensioners. I also noticed that the hood latch was held by a zip tie. Obviously something damaged the car to the point were it needed a zip tie to hold it. I know these are things that you have to check before. But I trusted that they would have informed me. But of course they didnt.They sold me a lemon and now Im trying to sell my car and can only get 1000 dollars. I lost 6,000 for a car I only drove for a year and a half.Please please beware before you purchase from here

I recently purchased a vehicle ( family van) feb 2014 at xpert auto repair. Within 2 months my vans engine light came on, the van began to give me problems. Funny thing is that once purchasing this van they showed me car fax, comments from the dmv, made it look like it was worth it. All they did in this van and all the cars they have posted in there shop is mickey mouse work. Dont trust these people they might look nice, they might give u a good deal but all they want is money. Dont spend and regret its not worth it. If you deside to purchase a car here take a mechanic with u dont trust these workers, also have good knowledge about cars because u can be easily tricked!!!!
