I cannot say enough about Eric! He is the store manager that we had the pleasure of purchasing a phone from. He was so incredibly helpful and attentive. Going to the Apple store is one of our least favorite things to do, but he truly made it easy. Highly recommend visiting this location and getting help from Eric!
Just wanted to highlight the great service and attention provided by your greeter, host and repair team all of who were very professional and nice. However, the lady that was assigned to do my phones diagnosis was rude and impolite. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or maybe it was personal problems but she definitely wasnt having a good day for customer service. Her lack of concern and borderline rudeness was somewhat discomforting since she wouldnt listen to what we had to say or our questions about the phone and gave us dry answers
That was my 3rd visit to that store and the 1st two visits left me wondering but I guess they say 3rd time is the charm.. Dylan you rock sir and I will only ask for Dylan going forward, very knowledgeable and understanding to my situation.....GOOOOO DYLAN!!!!!!
I recently went to this store after checking on my laptop for maintenance issues. I was matched with Corey who helped assist me along the way! Corey was such a joy to work with. I was really down about my laptop but he remained optimistic and changed my mood for the better. Hes very knowledgeable about his job, was very swift in the process, and offered many great alternatives. I dont mind driving 30+ minutes out of the city of Atlanta to this location! Thanks Corey for a great experience.

Needed a new iPhone battery. Made an appointment but was 45 mins early. They said they couldn’t check me in until 15 mins before, fine. Came back a second time, got things ready for replacement in about 15 mins. Told to come back in an hour. Came back in an hour, and asked to wait another 30 mins… the new battery seems fine so far. Staff were friendly and helpful but seems a bit like organized chaos going on in the store
Ive been coming to this apple store for years whenever my MacBook pro 2014 would have problems. They were always kind and helped out and over time, Ive actually had every single part of this computer replaced. Finally this MacBook came to the end of its life. When I brought it into the genius bar my specialist was more preoccupied with helping someone else. They said they could transfer the data on my old SSD to my new MacBook pro 2021... and the next day I had to pick it up because they could not. They said something was wrong with the partitions? And did not give me any detail. I ended up taking the hard drive into a data recovery service, who let me know that my SSD had been initialized (which you don’t do!!!) which ended up screwing up my data recovery leaving me with missing, unorganized files. The specialist should have immediately knew that initializing would screw up my hard drive. It was like they made a mistake, and tried to blame it on me as if I did not know anything. I am so disappointed and upset. Even the first question they asked when i brought my drive in was do you want to buy a new computer? I know that hard drive back ups are not a part of their services... but they went ahead and should have known it would ruin it. Countless sources say so. If you computer crashes and you need to retrieve you hard drive…DO NOT go to this store. Go immediately to a data recovery service.
I really like apple store becuse when i comed first time on 2016 they had ipads some iphone 6 iphone 7 and yep on 2021 i cheked ipad pro it had keyboard it was cool then i telled owner to test it how does it work owner says: no problem I like the apple store as always
Just met with Susie at the apple store, Mall of GA. She was absolutely the perfect choice for my 95 year old Mom and myself. She thoroughly demonstrated and answered all our questions regarding the new ipad
There is no point to go here EXCEPT! If you have apple care and tried to fix your phone then you might have to make reservation before visit this location [(if you dont have “apple care” they are going to tell you to buy new phone which is unprofessional :)] . If you want to see the Displays then its perfect to play around the different apple products. I made reservation yesterday to buy Iphone13pro/Max. My house is about 30 min to drive there which is very uncomfortable traffic. As soon as I get there the receptionist told me that they out of stock the Iphone 13pro/max. I dId not understand what was the point of making reservation. Also, they wasted my great time. People know that time is gold to everyone. The fact that whoever working in front the store, need to tell the customer properly. I was very upset when they don’t care about having a customer which is VERY RUDE MY GOODNESS! And there is no IPHONE THEN WHY YOU guys want me to make reservation? Think about it they wasted my time for no reason… (sigh) So I decide to buy IPhone on app store on online. It takes 3 weeks to get to my house but its better than having bad experiences or loosing your time.
Typically Apple has superior customer service! Today was NOT an example of that! Very disowning the lack of help I received at the Buford Apple store today by Blake. My problem was not resolved and the only solution provided was to purchase a new cord for a brand new phone that I have not had one year! Very disheartening to spend thousands of dollars on apple products and when they no longer work Apple won’t replace! Even with my warranty! I’m truly appalled. Please do better in serving customers and their needs ! Instead of trying to make a extra dollar! Lost my business for good!
Don’t go if you can help it. Friday afternoon at 3:30pm - there’s a huge line to the store. Better to shop online.Genius bar appointments are automatically canceled if you’re 15 minutes late - and you’re late of you didn’t check in with staff on time, which could take a while. Awful and unreliable
The Mall is nice has a great variety of stores.Its highly traffic meaning a lot of people and its not the cleanest environment if thats matters to you extremely unkempt.It matters to me its unkempt but over all I would recommend it. Its truly a good mixture of diversity and thats great. Thanks

Expect a short wait. Very busy. I had a return of an online order and did a direct return in store. I got in quickly, busy. So, I waited about 15 minutes.After that the return was 100% hassle free. Hand product, paperwork, and ID. 5 minutes later the return deal is done.Warning: Not everything is printed in the fine print. An Apple watch is not smart. It requires an iPhone for operation. The watch is actually a slave device to the phone.
They need an area for delivery drivers so they don’t have to wait in the extremely long line. Especially when they’re delivering three products from their store. But hey, their loss of someone cancels.

Horrible customer service. The manager, Jeff, was very nasty when I asked questions. My phone has a battery issue ⚠️; he told me to replace my phone’s screen to get a new battery. I told him I did not want to replace my screen. He was very condescending. Hes not a nice person. He demands to spend more money at the store. Very nasty and demanding! He talks at people.
If I could rate the specialist that helped me higher than a 5, I would. I am pretty sure his name was “Marvin”, but it could have been “Martin” (almost positive it was Marvin though). I had a very complicated set of requests and he handled it with grace and made the whole experience very fun. He knew how to make it as easy as possible for both of us and I left the store wanting to buy him a coffee haha! The other workers were also all very helpful and nice. I had a great experience here!

The Apple Genius told me that the Macbook Pro Ive been having issues with for the past 7 months has been defective from the factory. I added a star due to the honesty.After contacting Apple support and corporate. They took their sweet time to finally send my MacBook in for repair.Ports and battery replaced supposedly, but the battery still has issues. Such an expensive machine, yet defective with 8 hard resets in 7 months with persistent issues.
Staff was not friendly did not let us go in although There was like 7 minutes before closing. Best buy would not do this they lost a customer and two future customers and about $1400 on equipment. I will never buy an Apple products at the apple store just from beat buy.
The apple website says I can handle AppleCare claims in store or online. I went to the apple store to handle my claim. I had to wait 20 minutes for a “genius” to come up and tell me that they can’t handle claims in store and I had to do it online. Once I told her I couldn’t do it online she told me to go to sprint. But sprint told me to get it done at apple since it’s “AppleCare” they should be able to handle it. Seems like you guys don’t have enough help in the store to get your customers the right help so you just send them away. Terrible way to run a business. The customers in front of me had to drive an hour out to the store and they sent them away too. The apple geniuses are just lazy

I arrived to my appointment (after a short and reasonable wait in line) knowing what I wanted, and he helped me get it exceptionally fast and made sure I had all the relevant info – all without trying to upsell me on anything. We also just had a pleasant chat, which is pretty valuable for those of us who rarely leave our household bubbles. Far and away best experience Ive had at an Apple store.
Went to get my iPhone and charger looked at and left with my problem unresolved. Blake didn’t try to accommodate me to make sure my issues were resolved. I left feeling very unsatisfied with the service I received. He was very obnoxious. I’m shocked at the subpar service received.
Ameris is amazing. She was the specialist that helped me at the Genius Bar today and she helped me solve an issue with my new iPhone. It’s my carrier who has the problems. I recommend seeing her if you have this chance. This store is also very clean and knows how to keep customers safe. 🥰

I’ve visited stellar Apple stores, and I’ve visited poorly managed ones. This was the latter.I first waited about 10 minutes or so to speak to a sales rep in order to just purchase a phone. I already knew what I wanted, but still had to wait for someone so they could play their part in trying to upsell me. All while there were at least four or five “geniuses” standing around.They still require face masks to be worn even though the CDC’s guidance has been updated. They require masks even if you’ve been vaccinated and/or have health issues which would prevent you from wearing one.They claim they are so concerned about your health and safety, yet don’t care at all if wearing a mask has health implications for certain people?! Sounds more like political banter than anything.

This will be my third time going in to fix the same issue that has yet to be solved. Getting into how this has messed up my phone and deadlines I needed to make would take too long to get into.
Apple.Inc needs to be a shamed of themselves; my last phone was a 10s although I have been dealing with apple products for a long time this package bites the dust!! I ordered the 11 and when I received it I was angry😡why is apple trying to get all your money? Let me go on..there was no Headphones and no Charger!! just a middle piece; that wasn’t like the current phones I had 😩so my phone was going dead I had to run out and buy a charger.. if I’m going to spend money with you; don’t slack on the pieces.. I miss my 10s.. you wrong Apple you wrong SMH...

Went to the store after picking up a new iPhone 12 the previous day. I was told by phone agent to go back to the store to get the issues fixed. Instead the security was very unprofessional and would not let me through. They basically told me to leave and handle it online. I called again and the phone agent apologized and said they would try to assist, but that it would of been easier for the store to handle. They will make some inquiries and get back to me in a couple days. What is the point? Why even have a store if you cannot handle customers.
Got my battery replaced. What more can i say. Typical apple store. With a wait no matter which one you go to i try to avoid instore purchases when its time to pick up they act like CIA.

I have always been a big proponent of Apple’s architecture and the quality of their products. That said, I will never return or do any kind of business with this particular store. Their customer service reps are definitely not geniuses and they treated me like a criminal when I visited recently. You’d think they would treat their customers better, but when you have a bunch of inexperienced, young, entitled children representing your company, what do you expect? This experience may cause me to consider alternative solutions in the near future.

Just another opportunity for Apple to try and shine but instead to leave the customer holding the bag. Will never buy from Apple again due to the lack of true customer support.

Absolutely horrible experiences here. This use to be a great store with very nice customer service but over the years they have become very unhelpful and even rude at times. Really need to get there act together. They dont resolve any issues and make you get multiple appointments, if this is how they are managing covid it’s probably better to close the store down all together. Managers were a lot nicer though. Try the Avalon store if you want to get stuff done.

Wasted a whole day, my in-laws were there for a simple iCloud removal, had receipts and everything They needed, had set 2 appointments to insure both phones were taken care of, only to be turned away and referred online. Called apple and were told to go back in store because they never asked for receipts and were turned away again. Absolutely unacceptable. Manager took no responsibility just blamed other people. We will be contacting corporate directly.

After waiting in line for 45 mins with an appointment (was there a few mins before my appt time), the lady at the store gave incorrect information about Apple gift cards. She said that Apple gift cards that I had from 6 months ago were only good for buying online Apple apps or iTunes but not Apple products. I left and googled how can I redeem the cards, found out that Apple recently stopped selling gift cards that are separate for iTunes and products, one can interchange and still purchase Apple product with either of gift cards. Looked at official Apple website and it said the same. In short, the lady working at the Apple store was clueless of Apple products/policies. Obviously they did not train her properly and wasted my time. I was able to purchase and have my Apple watch delivered from online order. Apple associates at Apple store in Mall of GA are completely useless!
Pick up online purchase. Because of Covid19, an appointment is needed for pickup . Despite the current conditions, the level of service is still 5 star. My merchandise was ready, it was quick and easy no contact and as always very pleasant.
The Apple store is now an Apple Express, which takes people by appointment only. They would turn away people in line if they didnt have an appointment which kept the line moving fast and efficiently. Also, stations were wiped down after every customer was serviced.
Absolutely bad customer experience. I came to this Apple Store location to fix my ipad screen and glitchiness and they said their store only fix iphones and not ipad. I am never coming back to this location.

Beware! Apple does not provide the service it used to. I spoke with the manager Richard, he was extremely rude. I have purchased two MacBooks and they both overheated.I was asked to leave my computer for up to two weeks for repair. They did not care that this is my business and I can’t take two weeks off nor did they care about digital learning. I will never purchase another Apple product.

Currently open for appointments only (10/1/2020). Ive had 2 not so friendly experience here at this location. Once was a few years ago where I went into repair my iPhone with a Genius Bar appointment. I turned in my phone and the staff member gave me a time of 2 hours and I was off to look around the mall. When I came back to pick up my phone after 2 hours, I was told that they did not even start on my phone yet. He just stared at me with a grumpy expression on his face with no apologies and no explanation to when it will be ready. I was so angry and I could feel the tears well up and so I walked away and hid my head in my arms as I cried (embarrassing). As I was crying, I could hear the staff joking that he made me cry oh whoa etc. I got back in line to ask when my phone might start to be worked on and he told me that he will check. ... That was the gist of my first experience. The second was more recent in this year of 2020. I went excited to experience an Apple Watch. It started out great! They were friendly and animated. Then I saw that there was an address mistake with the shipping information, and I started freaking out in my head (because of a previous experience where my things were sent to an old address). The member was calm, which I appreciated, but he was just too nonchalant. I checked if I could cancel or change the address and I couldnt. He said to call the apple services and I could do just that. He asked a co-worker about what number I could call. I was worried cause I thought time was of the essence. With this experience it was just I guess the attitude that he did not really care, but that is my opinion. He was just done with me kind of expressions and again this couldve well been in my head. The second bad experience is more of my opinion, at least I didnt cry. I did go back and apologized for being freaked out and thanked him for his information. I just came out with a bad taste. My wifes iphone began to run extremely slow, and after about 8 hours on the phone with Apple support, she was told that they needed to wipe her phone to reset it, and that she could then recover her data from the cloud. Last Friday they wiped her phone, and she lost all of the contacts she had there, including all of her family in Brazil, and the number of a 97-year old relative who lives in a remote part of Brazil and whom she had only met last year.Apple said that her account would be verified by Monday (four days ago), but it was not. When she called them back on Tuesday, they said that they would help her recover the data, but that has been impossible, for reasons Apple cannot explain. Their reps have been very friendly and worked diligently, but the bottom line is that she has now been on the phone with Apple for over 20 hours, over nine days, and she still has not recovered the data.Her hands shake when she is on the phone with them, and she has tears in her eyes from the extreme stress of dealing with this and being completely cut off from her family.DO NOT TRUST APPLE with your contact data. Make sure you have a back-up that you yourself can access. Do not put your whole life in their hands.

Worst experience at an Apple store. Every employees have a different answer for my questions. I just wish that their answers are more consistent. I scheduled a pick up order @10:30am, but got my order 6 hours later. There was a lot of miscommunication.
These people use every excuse they can create not to provide reasonable service. It is interesting how they are open to sales or upgrades, but will not provide any service or repair. They want you to make an appointment with Best Buy to get your apple phone repaired.Why would anyone ever purchase a product that they factory store will not provide service for there products.

While standing in line to check in for my 1:30 appointment, instead the helping me the employee pointed me out to a group of security guard’s standing out side the store, and one of the security guards came at me with his hands out toward me yelling that I need to back away. I was wearing a mask and social distancing so it wasn’t a covid issue. I’m completely dumbfounded about why I was singled out and treated like a criminal. I called hr and hopefully they terminate everyone involved.

I have always been a big fan of apple, but ever since they opened up after COVID 19 the service at this particular location has been ridiculously poor. They make us wait for longer periods of time, making COVID an excuse, despite the fact that we book our appointments ahead of time. Once in the store, the customer service is below average, the sale representatives have an attitude and are not accommodating at all. I would much rather go to Best Buy.

Ridiculous how the Apple Store in the Mall of Georgia has people who had a reservation at the Genius Bar wait in line with the people who do not have a reservation and they were not honest they said to come five minutes before your reservation and I did however I still had to wait in line when I have a reservation at the Genius Bar. I will never come back to this Apple Store since they do not treat customers politely and those who have a reservation at the Genius Bar have them wait in the line.

Came into see the working Supervisor (Murad or something, African male with hard forehead wrinkles wears a lot of jewelry) for the third time of getting my MacBook repaired that I bought 3 months ago. Have repeatedly came with the same issue and refused to replace the laptop from coming back and forth to get it checked in for diagnostics. 3 times coming in - first time for a faulty Touch Bar, then a faulty speaker and now a faulty Touch ID.Come on man I’ve owned several Apple products but was severely disappointed for the first time with a Apple product and the Apple brand.Senior advisor on customer support said they would replace the laptop since the issues have came but he refused and argued for 25 mins.Update:Actual manager (Ian) I believe let us know we are qualified for a replacement for the reason: damaged during repair.Changing the 1 star to 3 star as this should of been our first option rather than stand there and argue for 25 mins. “Supervisor” wasn’t the real supervisor after all.Do better Apple Mall of Georgia.
Its a bit busy due to limited staff and customer interaction with Covid-19 still in place. But they are working fast to get everyone in and taken care of as best as possible.
Wow, as a top 500 company of the world, Apple hires such rude customer representative. Don’t understand. We are paying for the products instead of getting paid by these rude employees, please remember! Worst shopping experience ever at apple stores. Shame of this location!

As someone who worked as a creative at Apple for a long time, I’ve always loved the company. And I’ve loved how we take care of people. This store has THE WORST customer service. I’ve had 3 extremely negative experiences in a row. This place is a horrible excuse for an Apple store. Avoid this one.

All of these employees standing around doing nothing but I have to come back in 2 hours to pick up my iPad! I’m told this after already talking to 2 employees and waiting for 25 minutes. Seriously need new management here! How long does it take to grab the iPad I already paid for and hand it to me???? I love Apple products but this place is beyond mismanaged!!!

Great place for relaxation and good food. Many shopping outlets under one roof. Good scenery around the mall. Arguably the best food court in that part of town. Take kids to this place to unwind during weekends.
They treated customers in a rude way just like we came to beg for purchases. I have called apple that my order has been ready and I can pick up at any time even though my appointment is on next day. So I drive 1 hour there and they rejected my walk-in. I paid 5000 dollars wasting on these. Very bad service.

I went into the store to have my iPad 7 screen repaired/replaced. They told me they only replace iPads with broken screens they do not fix them. The iPad works perfectly fine other than the screen having multiple cracks. After about an hour I’m the store waiting and having them do their process they told me they could not replace it and I would have to send the iPad in for engineering review... they were unable to tell me what the review was for or why my cracked screen needed to be reviewed. They had the exact same iPad in stock and even brought it out to give to me before they decided it needed to be sent in. This would not be such an issue if my child did not need this device for school as they are doing digital learning. I even asked if I could have a loaner iPad and they told me they did not do that for iPads, they only did it for iPhones.... I am very displeased with this experience and I still have no answer as to how I can fix my iPad without keeping my daughter from learning. I have multiple iPhones, iPads, and Apple watches with Apple care and this has never been an issue before. I will think twice about buying another Apple product and I will most likely not ever spend the money on Apple care again. Thanks for not being helpful at all.
