Krispy Kreme is the only donuts I like but after the last few experiences at this location, I am willing to part ways and call it a health benefit! I was there this past Sat around 8:50. There were 10 cars ahead of me and as attempting it was to drive away, I decide to be patient for the kids waiting for it at home. It took me 50 min to get to the speaker after 2 - 3 cars in front of decided to ditch the line. When I got to place my order, there were no pleasantries or thanking for the wait. However, I was told I can only order glazed donuts as thats all they had. So hesitantly I ordered a box and now with only 2 cars in front of me, it still took 15 min to get to the window. No pleasantries again, so I asked whats going on and was told they were short staffed. That cant be true as I counted at least 8 people in there and the front door was locked so 2 - 3 were roaming in the lobby. What made me more mad at this point was even though they only had glazed, it still took them 3 min to get my box while staff were walking here and there. I am never going back there again and the next location is not as convenient so I am done with them!
45 minutes drive to Krispy Kreme just to realize that they are not even open they have a sign on the door saying due to short staff we will not open up until 7:30 AM they are supposed to be open 24/7. See about three people inside of the building and two employees outside smoking a total of five people. Trash is everywhere dumpster doors are wide open need to get this place clean as soon as possible Buford Georgia. So I waited until 7:30 for them to open. And then I was told I’m the only person here drive-through only and we got about 20 cars waiting park and now you wanna say just drive-through only. if you knew better you do better.. just ridiculous!!!!!!
I love Krispy Kreme, it this seems to always be a bad experience every time I come 🤦🏻♂️The light is never on, they don’t take your order at the drive-thru (must be at the window), they rarely have any of the donuts other than original glazed, attendant seems to hate his job (God forbid, his life).So sad. For consumers and retail investors.
I order pick up to not wait when I got there but turns out I have to go to the drive through to pick up my order like no thanks they should at least open their doors for pick up at least this is absurd wow
They need to change their hours on the website. It’s showing open but no one’s picking the phone up and last time I went they said they are now closing at 2pm because they were out of doughnuts due to staffing issues (website says closing at 8pm), so which is it. It would be really simple and really helpful to change that so people don’t drive there for nothing granted not everyone is close to the very spaced out locations.
They closed early. When asked why, they said they didnt have enough staff. But there were at least 7 employees sitting in the lobby, eating donuts. I was in the parking lot calling and not one of them answered the phone. Another customer got out of his car to ask what was going on. The doors werent locked but after he walked out, empty handed, one of the employees ran and locked the door behind him.
This is the most disappointing Krispy Kreme’s ever. The hot sign is never on. They never have an adequate supply or selection of donuts.
This is sooooo sad. It started with them not ever using the hot sign to the point where I had to guess if they were making fresh donuts. Now they don’t even make fresh donuts. What made me finally write this review was due to them not being open the last three times I have came here including today. How is a place that’s supposed to be open 24hours now closed all the time. But I’m sure it’s a staffing issue. Can someone at least update the website to reflect when the store will be closed.
Lately this location is having major issues. One Saturday at 4:30pm; couldn’t go inside due to low staff and only glazed available drive thru. Came another Sat at 8:30pm and it’s completely closed. We’ve never had issues in the past with the hours or selection. I would call ahead before you make the drive over.
Not sure how they stay in business. Food quality and quantity it poor. Never any hot and ready or ice coffee machine is always down.
Went there at 9:00am, the drive-thru speaker is not working. Ordered at the window, they are out of most of the things on the menu (including original glazed). No hot doughnuts. Guess I should have read the reviews before going, I would have driven down to Pleasant Hill Road.

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I grew up eating them. They are still my favorite doughnut.BUT!!!!The Buford location is the absolute worst. Today at 7:30 they are ALL OUT of everything except glaze. For the last few times (no exaggeration) during the day, they have been out of something.Tonight they had only glaze. What!!!Maybe they just had a great day. (I hope so)I am wondering if this location is going out of business!!! But I hope they are not If so, the staff act like they couldn’t care less.I hate to leave negative reviews but sometimes that’s all you can do in order for owner/management to pay attention. I am hoping that management will do something to ensure better service. Oh, one more thing. What is going on here? I have been trying to get some donuts to bring to the office but they are not open until 8AM — but they did not update their website or info in google. I tried twice to no avail. Can u guys at least update your information everywhere. A lot of ppl depend on KK for bfast or perfect partner for coffee and now we cannot rely on you. It’s so sad😩
Donut sign never lit up hot n ready, staff lack customer focus, drive thru speaker doesnt work, and the iced coffee machine doesnt work. What is this place good for if I cant get a hot donut or coffee? Close the doors and make room for a business that can actually serve the community. Zero stars!
Ive been here for 2 Saturdays and I will never go back. First I have to wait to get to the drive thru because the inside is closed. And this is around 1030 in the morning. When I get to the window they say all they have is custard and original glazed. Which they said was made earlier that morning. I bought an original glazed and it tasted like it was made the day before not that morning. If this place cannot be run properly then just close it down.
Please be more thoughtful to your customers, your store is closed right now when it should be open, no signs saying its closed and a drive through full of people, that are all getting upset by the time they make it to the order spot. Unacceptable.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! ordered scary sharies donuts at 2.30pm on line. paid via credit card, Scheduled pick up for 6.30pm as they close at 8pm. Arrived at 6.15pm and employee tried to not let me in line, said they are closed. After arguing with me for awhile let me in drive thru. Pulled up and they were out of scary sharies, only have glazed. They tried say I did not order early enough, showed receipt that I ordered earlier, they said oops sorry. Finally asked for refund, manager helping me said she could not refund only THE MANGER? Then asked if could pick up donuts the following day and manager said i do not know. So did not have my order, will not let me pick up next day and will not refund me, horrible service!!!
We were there Sunday afternoon- 1st of all- the girl at the drive thru window was very nice.Per an employee- Krispy Kreme (Buford) closed its doors because they didnt have enough staff and they had run out of supplies.. they only had a few doughnuts left to sell and no way to make any more. We were in their drive thru lane for about 45 minutes. Incredible.

Terrible service and when I tried to order by drive thru, it didn’t work and the person behind me, or that’s at front of me are saying the exact same thing or some of them just left because they got mad. Customer service at the Buford location has become very poor. They are frequently out of donuts the staff have a lack of hospitality and the wait times for something that should be fast usually extend into the 15 minute mark..
This has to be one of the worst shops! They never have anything other than glazed, their speaker never works, the workers have attitudes. You would think since they only have 1 type of doughnut the drive thru line would move quick but its so slow. Krispy Kreme needs to get it together.
The kids love them, I find the glaze to be too sweet. But Im not much for sweets anyway. A half dozen wont last a day between my two boys (15 and 19) so they must be good!

I just went to this KK today... we always stop by here on our way back from Atlanta... it’s like a tradition you know? Well, that’s ruined! As soon as I walked in there was a couple leaving with nothing, complaining ... then I went to the restroom and it was flooded... then when I went to get the donuts for my kiddos at home there was none! There was literally 4 donuts in the display trays. It looked like there were racks of them in the work area but the worker told me he was out. I’m not sure what is going on at this KK, but it’s a Shame because we loved stopping by here and getting a couple dozen as a special treat. I hope they are able to work it out and get it back up to snuff... we would love to see them back to bring that great place where we can get fresh donuts, better than any place else!
The kid at the drive through attempted to fight me over a coupon. This was the worst experience I have ever had at Krispy Kreme or any fast food place!Long lines, poor service, violent employees.... wow I wont ever be back.
The hot glazed donut never disappoints, but wish they had some or at least one other option like a chocolate or Reece donut shown on their menu. Also, no worries about slipping on their floors... but be sure you dont loose a shoe.

Nasty!!! I ordered a dozen of doughnuts. When I received it. It had so much icing on the outside of the box. Like are you all picking up the doughnuts with the glove, or bare hands instead of tongs or something?! Why was the box so nasty n sticky?! I will not be back to this location..
Ive been here twice and both experiences were less than satisfactory. The selection was limited and the staff appeared to not want to be there. Not the customer service That makes me want to go for a 3rd time. Thats unfortunate as much as my family loves their donuts.
Went to the drive thru Saturday night at 9 pm. Guy was rude, wouldnt take order at speaker..hastily said pull to the window. Got there to order 2 dozen glazed...he stated they were out of glazed. Seriously? I said can you make some? He was hateful and said no and slammed the window shut. This place needs to be closed down!
This location just needs to be closed permanently or you need to hire people that actually need to work. I sat in drive Thur for about 5 minutes no one greeted me. We heard the phone ring inside then someone answered it and said they were closed. 10:45 am. There was about 10 cars in the parking lot. Anytime i have come to this location service has been horrible Any time you have a coupon they will not honor it. Never have the speciality donuts!!! Really need to do something here.
The donuts were fresh and tasty. They had a large selection, even though I visited later in the day. The employees were friendly and efficient.

This is the worst KK I have ever visited and I have gone here for years. About two years ago, it was the best. The service is absolutely terrible and they do not ever have any doughnuts other than regular glazed. They do not even keep supplies of drinks. I do not know how they stay open.
Understaffed. Mid afternoon first of June. Went for summer special collection donuts but they ONLY had traditional glazed. One type of donut? Of course we took a dozen and enjoyed, but one type of donut??? Only open for drive through.

Every single time i go in here they NEVER have any of the donuts i want. the last 3 times they only had 3 kids of donuts available in the middle of the day. And than they refuse to cancel my order after I asked 3 times. Third time they sent a manger or someone he didn’t introduce himself but either way, he didn’t feel like he needed to provide a cancellation receipt,said out of paper.

Arrived at 6:15 am and they were not ready to serve fresh donuts. They opened at 6 am. They informed me the red light would be on at 7am and they only had old glazed donuts. Not cool at all. I drove out of my way to get fresh donuts when they opened.
Ordered 2 chocolate glazed doughnuts and a bottled water. When I arrived at the window the person told me they didn’t have bottled water. I changed to a bottled Coke. Didn’t have that either and suggested a Diet Coke! NO! I told him I would just take a cup of water instead. The water tasted disgusting. I thought maybe it was the straw. After I stared to eat a doughnut I was shocked that they were actually COLD and even tasted a bit odd. I took a drink and then two to wash down the doughnut and realized the water was horrific. This place needs to be closed down! A bunch of young kids running it, no customer service, no doughnuts, chocolate milk in refrigerator was nasty and covered in stuff. We ordered a milk shake and was given a cup filled about 3/4 of the way and when we asked if they could fill it they said no. Took them even longer to give us our money back.

The worst ever! I was there to pick up a delivery for a customer. I waited over 2 1/2 hours for the order. Never received the order because it finally got canceled! They are awful!!! So many customers left because they had almost nothing and the workers didnt seem to be in any sort of rush.

My family and I stopped on our way to Atl spent $50 on doughnuts and coffee. The doughnuts were nice and warm but they tasted awful and the coffee tasted like dirty water with some mocha and caramel added on top. It took them 30 minutes to make 3 coffees because they were standing around talking and playing on their phones.

Ordered and prepaid Easter special donuts online for a party to make sure they would be there and ready. Left all my contact info with the order. Drove the 25 minutes there at the noon order pick up time and was told nonchalantly that they stop making them earlier that morning. No one called to let me know, no one apologized, nothing. And, then, to make it worse, they told me my refund would take three days. So, I drove round trip 50 minutes and then had to wait three days for my money back. The cashier told me they knew they werent going to fill my online order as soon as they got it in hours before I got there and no one thought to call me and let me know. Why order online then!!!! Awful service!!!!
A slew of bodies in there working. Ordered a iced latte which tasted like dirty dish water over 6 ice cubes. My wifes mocha latte had no flavor and then they handed her a cup of cream and sugar. Please train your employees properly on how to make simple menu drinks. 9.00 was just wasted. Guy was nice and friendly but between 3 workers this is what was given to us.

My name is Ben Sulcer, I ordered using the Krispy Kreme app. It all started here, said the strawberry iced glaze was unavailable until 4/23/21 and to remove it from the order. I arrive to pick up my order and the lobby was closed so I proceeded to the drive thru. Got to the speaker to tell the workers I was there to pickup my order as was told we only have 4 strawberry iced glaze was available and original glaze only. I told them to cancel my dozen and give me a refund. Placed a order for the iced glaze and 3 original. I asked for a recipe since in all the confusion I didn’t get my rewards . Didn’t get a receipt for canceled order or the new order. I don’t know how much I was charged and they were unable to give me a receipt for the canceled order. I would have stayed home if I knew the items I ordered were not available. Want someone to contact me and make this right. Update I received the refund for the app/online order.
Called the store at 9:10-9:22 pm No one would answer phone and they kept hanging up!!!! Tried to ask if the drive through closes at 10:00 and if the store is still a 24hr Open store during this Covid Pandemic. Need to know becuse my husband was heading in that direction and I wanted him to stop IF it’ was still open.... 40 min. Drive 👎🥲I just wanted some boxes o’ Krispy Kreme !
Lousy experience waited in a LONG line for a 1 day only promotion for pumpkin doughnuts at 3pm. The boy at the checkout said they only had glazed. What kind of promo is that? We just left....

After a lot of miscommunication and frustration with the staff at this location on how to purchase the promotional Reeses donut for my moms birthday, I finally got ahold of their manager, Dewayne. Well Dewayne is amazing!!! He went above and beyond to make our poor experience a much better one! Especially during the holidays, it is so nice to find people like him that care and are willing to go the extra mile. Dewayne, my family and I thank you so much! I know it was first just about a donut, but the overall experience and kindness you provided are what really matters. 🍩👍🙏
