I was referred to this shop by my brother in law. I was in a panic as my Ford Explorer was hesitating in shifting gears yet no diagnostic light appeared. I searched online for the symptoms that I was experiencing and pretty much was lead to believe I needed a transmission rebuild or a new transmission. I called Don Brown and spoke with Stacey, who was very informative and ran over the process with me. She gave me a price of the diagnostic upfront. When they did the diagnostic they found that my transmission was in great shape...it was just a transmission leak!! They could have told me I needed a rebuild and I would have believed them as thats what my online research had pointed me towards. They gave me a price before doing the work. They are honest and reputable. They have a new, loyal customer for life!!

Don Brown Sr was awesome years ago before he passed away. DO NOT TRUST DON BROWN JR.I am in the process of taking don brown jr to small claims court.

Drop off service was very timely

This is the most wonderful auto repair shop I have been to by far!! The customer service was just exceptional!! I had to leave my vehicle with them and the woman in the front office was so kind as to give me a ride where I needed to go in order to leave my vehicle with them. Soooo sweet!! They diagnosed my problem in no time and their prices were amazing! A special thank you to Matt who helped me understand every issue my vehicle was having. What a sweet guy also. The staff at Don Brown were nothing but helpful to me when I came in to get a car checked out before I bought it. They are very trustworthy and told me not to buy the car for various reasons which they explained to me. I will definitely return for services when I find a new car. 12/10 would recommend.

I had a terrible experience with this shop. Hidden fees that they won’t tell you about until you go to pick up your car. You definitely want to skip this.

Wish I had heard about Don Brown Automotive earlier. They are honest, reasonably priced and very knowledgeable. Matt was so helpful, and my sluggish Camry now runs great! They will not try to sell you anything you do not need, I will be recommending them to all my neighbors, coworkers, and friends!

Im back to stay. I returned to Don Brown after going to a repair shop closer to me. The other shop tried to over charge and sell me repairs I just didnt need. Very unprofessional. We had a warranty issue with a Ford transmission. Mr Brown went almost a week before calling Ford with the codes, and then when Ford told him that we would need to take the vehicle to a dealer, cleared the codes. He refused to call them with the codes he had received and the shop took an unannounced week long vacation the week after. We will not return or promote this business.

Family oriented, exceptional mechanics that you can both trust and always depend on. If you havent been before i highly recommend you stop by if you are in need of a trustworthy mechanic... That isnt out for the $$ like most auto repair shops. Love this shop!

I was there a few days ago and it was the best and quickest experience Ive had with an auto repair. I have been a customer for years and never had any problems. They do a good job.

At my ripe old age I have commissioned hundreds of auto service companies and I found Dons Auto and Transmission Center to be at the top of my list. All of his personal were overboard friendly. Don explained my van problems and took me into his shop and showed me my issues. He worked with me to save money when he could have just manipulate my problems and made a larger profit. I had a solenoid go bad on my ram while visiting my parents. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day I called and had great service.

We have been here for transmission service several times with different vehicles. They are always helpful and courteous.

I have brought numerous vehicles to Don Brown auto and they have always serviced them in a timely manner and have done the job correctly.

All Im going to say at this moment is if you care about your vehicle, dont bring it here! They broke parts on my car and is refusing to fix them. Not to mention the poor customer service they have. The guy donny the owners son cant even talk to you with respect and finds that my car being messed up at there shop was amusing him. Im not wanting to argue with anyone about it just telling the facts so maybe you wont be the next person having to deal with this!

I went to Don Brown after another shop had worked on my vehicle. They were very helpful in explaining options and not trying to upsell me.

Today was the first time I used Don Brown Automotive. I had my oil changed. I just moved to this area and they a close to my house. During the work Matt noticed I had OEM hoses on my radiator. My truck is 13 years old and I wouldnt have thought to check the hoses. They gave me an estimate, and I felt no pressure to buy anything just a good mechanic looking out for his customers.

Would NOT recommend. Don (the Owner) has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. He makes you feel like you are inconveniencing him all the time. Would never go back.

Don ripped me off bad one day. I took my car to him and looked at for a couple days and charged me $300 for a transmission part. I found out weeks later with another tech he didnt replace it and did wiring on it with improper tools and wingnuts under the car where exposed to water and wind and dirt. The mechanic couldnt believe it until I showed him the invoice. Don charged me for a transmission filter on the invoice, but I found out and confirmed my car doesnt have a transmission filter. It has a screen with no filter. Don probably cares the first 24 hours your car in his shop but gets angry as it lingers and he cant figure it out. Either way he has to charge you for his time and will even if he doesnt fix it.

Always taking care or me and my fathers trucks for years. Never any problems good hard working mechanics

Took my van to Don brown automotive for a power steering fluid leak. Was told by another shop that I needed new pump other stuff for like 1000.00 bucks. Donny got me in and out in couple hours for less than half of other estimates. Thanks
