Alex’s sub has been my go to for a year, always great. Al at the front counter is the best, so friendly.

The staff is friendly and helpful and they have great subs and sandwiches. My favorite is the Alex with banana peppers and steak sauce. Check them out for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Older guy who works at night is rude,makes everyone feel very uncomfortable. Would have left if I didn’t already pay for my food.

I always enjoy the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich from here. The options for a quick bite are good. And the staff is very warm and appreciative of any of their customers.

Stinger sub and breakfast sammies with hash browns are my personal favorites, but everything here is excellent and reasonably priced. Big beverage selection, mad snacks, and the kindest folks around town.

The BEST subs in town! I am addicted to their beef on weck, chicken fingers and cheesburger subs, oh and the cheese fries are also the BEST!

Al and his team here are wonderful, and even after moving I try to stop by at least once a month to support his business. The store is always clean, well stocked, and the Deli makes the BEST beef on weck in town.

I’ve been a faithful customer since they first opened and I appreciate what they’ve done for the corner, however they need their employees, especially their cooks and stockers to learn customer service and not be rude to customers simply calling an order or picking up food and WEAR MASKS RIGHT NOW AS ITS A STATE MANDATE. Countless times now I’ve seen this here and with this attitude change, I’m taking my money elsewhere and you should too.

I had a issue where I ordered breakfast food here and there was eggshells in my food I called in and spoke to someone I was told no problem come get your money back or new sandwiches just throw those out (covid 19 is going on) I then received another call back from this store about 10 minutes later stating I needed to bring the food back the guy I spoke to wasnt allowed to make those decisions I explained I had already threw them out as directed and was in the way for a refund I was then told to pick the sandwiches out of the trash to bring them back or I will not get anything for thiS mix up very rude and unprofessional and as a customer who has spent plenty of money here and has sent people here to eat to be treated and spoken to in such manners I am appalled and disappointed and I have to say I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EAT HERE

No price tags. Isn’t that illegal? Also the guy who works the register at night is just a nightmare for autistic people. He insists on looking you in the eyes, shaking your hand and if you don’t he gives you the stink eye. He becomes really condescending and suspicious if you don’t engage him. It just struck me that he behaves in the exact opposite way an autistic person is comfortable with. Especially the alienation for not being social.

This place can definitely be a 4-5 star market if it where managed better. I understand the saying, Good help is hard to find but the search should continue. The gentlemen at the register are just that; Gentlemen. They are the reason why I still go back but unfortunately that great experience ends when you venture over to the deli and hot foods end. Ive order from cold to hot sandwiches from here and its a hit or miss experience. Sometimes you get what you asked for and sometimes you dont. To make a long story short; the worst would be the first time I decided to try theyre breakfast sandwich. I ordered 2 sausage, egg, hash brown and cheese sandwiches and in return I got one with everything I asked for and the other without the hash brown; ok I could deal with that! I sat down and took a bite and Crunch! In an egg sandwich there are two things I could not deal with and thats egg shells or an over fried egg to the point where its crispy! Behold both sandwiches had burnt eggs in them to the point where I would of never put it into someones sandwich. I was so discussed that I lost my appetite and threw them away. I still go here because its on my way to work and as I said the cashiers service is excellent. Occasionally Ill order a sandwich if I see this particular person behind the deli because he has yet to destroy my sandwich and I have hope for the rest of them but I dont order anything egg anymore.

Completely screwed up a sub order for me. one sub took close to 25 minutes to be prepared.... shocked

Love this place. Best breakfast sandwiches ever. Really good subs. Fair, good prices. Service is overall pretty great. People remember you when you come in. They have a decent selection of craft beers and essentials as well. Bonus Tim Hortons inside (although sometimes they can be a little slow and distracted by their phones).

Normally I am a supporter of Elmwood Market but if you sell me a $75 bus pass that doesnt work because they magnetic stripe is bad and refuse to exchange it, you just lost a customer and Ive been shopping there for years. Your loss really because Ive spent literally hundreds shopping there

Excellent, upscale neighborhood convenience market! Prepared foods are marvelous, but their grocery prices are rather high.

The first breakfast sandwich I got from here was top notch. Subsequent ones werent as good, but still decent. They have a buy one get one half off.All the footlong cold cut subs Ive gotten from here have been good, big, and a good value. Id probably give 5 stars if their breakfast sandwiches were consistently excellent and if some of their employees were more professional (they tend to complain about the workload in front of customers).

Good food but the service always sucks. Rude employees, constant changing but not updating menu prices and some man running the register for years who still barely knows what he’s doing.

Friendly staff, fresh food prepared while you wait, better than average pricing, or call ahead. Quick turnover of dairy, grocery and beverage items means quality at your fingertips. Also a satellite Tim Hortons location.

I come here daily for coffee at from their Tim Hortons, which is consistently good.The store has a decent selection. I comr here for veggy burgers, which are not sold at the surrounding stores.The deli food is usually good, but sometimes the wait is long.

I used to like Elmwood market. On a recent visit, though, I decided never to return. The cooks prepared food, answered the phone and handled raw fish (friday night) with the same pair of plastic gloves.
