Truly the most delicious chocolates and choices - will not disappoint. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Very well organized, even if its really busy, they get through that line of customers quickly.

I hadnt been to Wahls since I was a little kid, but saw they were open a couple of weeks ago and decided to stop in and see what it was like. The shop is nicely arranged, spotlessly clean, and the staff was wonderful. I ended up getting a couple of boxes as gifts, and a few little candies on the side for me. My friends liked them so much that Ive since gone back for more gifts. Id highly recommend them.

Going to Wahls Candies on Palm Sunday was a family tradition growing up, going to Wahls today brought all those great memories of all that great Easter chocolate in the side room just like the original store on Genesee St. Im a senior now but it made me feel like a kid again HAPPY EASTER

When I was very young my grandmother would order chocolate and candy from wahls candies for easter every year for all of her grandchildren. I would have a stash of easter candy for months. Recently she has past on, and all of my siblings and cousins have passed on the tradition to their children. For me it’s been 30 years of family memories and I really hope Wahls Candies is around for generations and generations to come. This chocolate still brings me back to my childhood, and for that reason is priceless to me and our family.

The Chocolate was really good good but was disappointed that they dont make their own Ribbon Candy! I wanted just Peppermint Ribbon Candy since they announced on their sign that they had Ribbon Candy. I was told that the Only place that makes Ribbon Candy was in Rochester, NY. What a Bummer!

Best CHOCOLATE ever! I have been going to Wahls Candies for over 30 years and even drive from Rochester now. During the Corona epidemic i missed going inside the store with all the great varieties of Easter candy and the great chocolate smell. So I took advantage of curbside pickup. Customer service was great as usual . Two of my recommendations are the Sponge Candy and the Bark (Almond or Pecan).

One of the absolute best places that you can purchase candies from. Ive visited most stores in/around the Buffalo area, and this arguably has the BEST sponge candy. The consistency is hardly questionably, and the chocolate is always uniform.. Never overzealous, or under illustrated. This place earns my ultra exclusive 5 star rating.

Greeted our kids with complementary chocolate, which was unexpected and kind. Great chocolate and a quaint little storefront. Will enjoy their shop whenever our budget permits :-)

The selection and quality of chocolate is out of this world. All of the staff is very kind and helpful. If you need to ship some of the wide selection of candies to a loved one, ask. Makes it easier since they will put notes on the package to ensure it arrives non-melted. They ship all over the country.

Their chocolate is good, but the lady helping us out was very rude!! Every chocolate in the display that we wanted just happened to be sold out, and when we asked what was available she kept saying whatever is in the case is what they have available. It would have been nice if they put a little sold out sign or removed it from the display so the customer would know before they would ask for it. She gave me the feeling like I was bothering her, when I should have been the one annoyed because you didnt have what I wanted to buy!!

They make the creamiest milk chocolate Ive ever had. Home made filled creme eggs at Easter, delicious sponge candy, its been a staple in my family for years !!

Not inexpensive however, high quality. Its been the place for chocolate my family has visited for more then 25 years. It is worth the trip.

During the Easter and Christmas seasons they have chocolate for absolutely everyone! They are pricey (expect to pay around $20 for 1lb of sponge candy), but it definitely is worth it!

We all know that Wahl’s Candies has wonderful delights and they are an honored WNY mainstay, but did you know they are outstanding patriots as well! They went above and beyond to make sure an order of Easter goodies got shipped off to my son and his Air Force crew deployed to Iraq. Thanks so much for personally getting it to the post office and completing the customs paperwork. The smiles on their military faces were acknowledgement that they felt the love from the folks back home!
