If somehow youre a Buffalo-native and you dont know about Ko-Ed Candies, what in the world have you been doing, living under a rock?! This is the single best candy store Ive ever been in. The candy always looks awesome and tastes even better, and theres a darn-good reason theyre famous for their sponge candy! Its simply the best around. We even go here just to get candy to send to family members in other states because they miss it so much. Seriously, if you havent been there yet, get there YESTERDAY! You absolutely will not be disappointed!

Tanya is very knowledgeable and very helpful. And of course the candy is wonderful! Everything is immaculate and well-organized, and I especially love the enormous choices in the smaller prepackaged selection section. My daughter is here visiting Buffalo from LA because her father ( my ex) is in the hospital. She didnt know about this candy store, and I thought I would add sponge candy to the list of items everyone that visits Buffalo should must purchase. She just had to have Buffalo pizza, chicken wings, and Webers horseradish mustard. Sponge candy ( we love orange) is a staple on that list, and this is the go+ to store to get It! Its a definite must-have for former Buffalonians of course! I got a small package of coconut clusters as a little gift for her father. Hell love them!

BEST Sponge Candy in Western New York!! Every time I visit, I try to stop by and get some. I love that they ship all year round now. I send it regularly to my daughter and grand children in North Carolina. When I give Ko-Ed Sponge Candy to some one as a gift in Western PA, they LOVE it and say they’ve never had anything like it!!

Wow! Amazing sponge candy. I got the peanut butter version and it did not disappoint. I live in PA and had it shipped to me. That’s how good this stuff is!!

Delicious candy, my partner won’t eat any other chocolate now that we’ve had it from here. The people that work here are personable and always helpful. The store is a little small, but they’re usually pretty stocked up on their inventory. (Get there a few days to a week early for holidays, they’re a hotspot!)

Always great chocolate, have come for years and wont give my chocolate business to anyone else. Converted from Watsons after I moved from kenmore and never looked back. Helps that my aunt used to work there and always gave us some at holidays. My wife loves the chocolate drizzled popcorn bins and sponge candy is best in Buffalo. Kids cant get enough of chocolate covered pretzels and oreos.

First time here as it is not as close to where we live. However I have read a out it so wanted to give it a try. We moved back to Buffalo 5 years ago and have been happily trying the wonderful local family run chocolate stores. After todays visit I have found my favorite milk chocolate sponge candy. It has a thick creamy layer of milk chocolate and a wonderful sponge that is crispy and delicate with enough molasses flavor to stand up to the chocolate. Perfection.

Ko-Ed Candies is a great neighborhood candy store that offers a great variety of chocolate treats. Milk chocolate and dark chocolate choices of treats such as sponge candy, nut clusters, raisin clusters, chocolate covered popcorn, chocolate jellies, and even more! The staff is always pleasant and will even wrap your treasures if you ask. One of the true jewels of South Buffalo!

I absolutely love love love this place! The best chocolate I have ever had in my life to the point I now cant stand any other chocolate so I await being able to fly up to see family and go there! The store is adorable, prices are great, staff is great and I cant wait to go up there again this year! My favorite things there are sponge candy and chocolate popcorn! Its a wonderful place to go to be it you live there or are visiting the area! Also they have online shopping on some of their most sold items so for sure I will be taking advantage of that now its available! 5 star all the way for this location!

I love this store! Its nice to have a shop near me that sells just chocolate. Its a nice, small Shoppe so you dont have to go wait in a huge line at tops just to get sponge candy.

Best place in South buffalo for chocolate. I go at Valentines and Easter. Big selection of Easter candy they have milk, dark, orange, and white chocolate good prices and they have flats, solid, hollow, suckers. My grandsons favorite is the chocolate covered Oreo

My family has been getting chocolate from here since I was super little.. just bought some chocolate today only to be totally disappointed and disgusted. They definitely changed the recipe and ruined it entirely, it taste like cheap family dollar chocolate now. What a shame.

The best dark chocolate sponge candie that I have ever tried. The first time I stopped there, I bought two bags: one for my wife and another as a gift for a friend. The following day I had to return for another gift because the previous night my wife and I ate both bags.

My final.Christmas gift to my family members in Florida every year is Lord sponge candy my grandbabies call it nighttime candy because I keep a stash and they are allowed one piece when they go to bed.
