My car was there 3 weeks after date I was told to bring in and was never touch . Jerry was rude and unprofessional . Needless to say my car was never touch and I had to waste more money on another tow to another shop. Thank you Jerry great job at wasting my time.

Jerry used to be a good valu but he’s as much or more than the dealer these days and won’t take credit cards. His English gets worse when he’s trying to BS you. Once he figures out how much you know or he thinks you trust him your done, he’s replacing the most expensive part connected to your problem and he’s marking it up 500%. The word must be getting around his lot used to be full all the time ride by not anymore, I think he’s looking to retire now.

I’ve been going to K&A auto for over 20 years, I had the privilege of working with Jerry and his dad at the time and now it’s Jerry and Kyle. I have recommended my mom, dad and other family member’s including my uncle and our police force friends. Everyone has been very satisfied with their pricing and quality of service. It amazes me when an individual (Pete Seger) states that he charges 500% over the price. People should really provide evidence before tearing someone’s business and livelihood apart. These gentlemen work very hard to help people and I highly recommend them for all types of vehicles.

This is my go to mechanic. I’ve been going here for 2.5 years after shopping for a decent mechanic. I had some ok experiences elsewhere but still wasn’t thrilled with any particular mechanic. But, I finally made it to k&a and Jerry has taken excellent care of my car, my wife’s car, and us in general. He never overcharges us. He’s very honest about what he thinks is going on and what the options to fix it are. He knows how to treat his customers. Would highly recommend you make him your mechanic. Great work!

I have been having my cars serviced by Jerry at K&A for about 8 years. He has regularly cared for our 94 Volvo 850 Wagon and 95 Camry for about 7 years (we have upgraded now). These were old cars both with well over 150,000 miles and needed regular maintenance. Jerry almost always was able to take care of problems the same day they were dropped off. Yes he only takes cash, but if he knows you he may take your check.We have a new hand me down now a 97 Caddy. I dropped it off this AM with a non functioning drivers window, cruse control dead, brakes lights not working, oil change needed. Window needed a new motor, which Jerry replaced with a rebuilt one. I appreciate that he will use reconditioned parts when available (and let you know), I have never had a problem and they are less expensive. Everything was done at the end of the day. Not the most complicated problems but I am very happy to have that window working again. Not to mention it is good to have working brake lights.I have returned to this shop time and time again because it is hard to find a mechanic you can trust.

Extremely unprofessional. My car sat in his lot for over 24 hours and he never even gave me price quote. After 3 undelivered promises to call me back, I had to physically come there and he insulted me by saying he didn’t provide me a price because he didn’t think I had enough money!! He’s probably a racist, which allowed him to come to that conclusion. I took my vehicle to Firestone on Sheridan drive, which may have cost me more, but the pleasant service they provided me was worth it. He’s knowledgeable, but I wouldn’t let him work on my lawnmower!!!

Great shop! Jerry is an authentic and trustworthy person who would never steer you in the wrong direction. Hes very attentive (he doesnt make you feel like a number) to customers and his prices cant be beat. He makes sure to use original OEM parts and communicates effectively with customers. This is my go-to mechanic.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY MORE BUSINESS!!! he is very sneaky with your BMW or high end cars he will make sure you have to come back! but not only that you will have to pay him about the same you would have paid at the dealership! if you don’t want to be Manipulated into thinking that you have a good deal or he will take care of your car please do not go if you own a BMW or a Mercedes or any sort of high-end foreign car you look for someone else or even take it to the mechanic who made the vehicle not this guy he’s been doing this for a long while now and he knows how to get People who don’t have much knowledge about little to no knowledge about what’s wrong with your car.

Ive always had really good experiences with Jerry. Hes forthright and charges fairly and transparently -- lightyears from a corporate chain garage. K&A is the first shop that comes to mind when I have car trouble. Ive been bringing my cars there on and off for about three years and recommend it to friends pretty frequently.

If you have a foreign car there is no one more qualified than Jerry and Kyle. No, you will not get your car back the next day. Maybe not even the day after that. The shop is in high demand. They specialize in imports. Im sure they would love to do an oil change, but if thats what youre looking for, go somewhere else. If you want someone to take care your valuable car somewhere that can be diagnosed and serviced properly, make this your shop. Many years ago I was in a car accident and allowed another company to fix my car, a company suggested by the insurance company. It was a turbo charged Audi. That other shop destroyed my engine. And destroyed two replacement turbo chargers while they were trying to fix it. They had to pay out thousands of dollars to me because they did not know how to fix it. The insurance company chose to total the car. I said no way and took it to Jerry; and 3 years later it has 140,000 miles on it and purrs like a kitten. He still takes care of it. You dont ever have to question his integrity. After I took it to him, he knew exactly what had happened before speaking with me and the cost was the same as the other shop, and yes he threw in a free oil change. If youre looking for a receptionist to answer all of your calls and call you every other hour to give you the status on your car, thats not going to happen there. They are too busy fixing cars the right way.

This goes out to all you owners of expensive foreign cars that are still having your car serviced by the dealer. I can emphatically say you are missing out on the best DEAL in town. This gem is located at 1784 Eggert Rd, Amherst, NY 14226, corner of Eggert Rd. and Sweet Home Rd., not far from Sheridan Dr. His name is Jerry Kaczor and he has a small work shop. No secretary, so whenever you call, you end up talking directly to Jerry. I have a 10 year old BMW. The first 8 years were serviced at the dealership and even though I didnt pay for any service in the first 4 years, I came to the realization that in the following 4 years I actually paid for all 8 years. These last 2 years have been with K & A Auto Repairs and my car never performed better. You get prompt professional service, excellent results and all at a very reasonable price. It is understandable when you consider youre not paying extra for a lot of advertising or a large supportive staff with health and retirement benefits. You are only paying for the service. Think about that the next time you drive into the dealership to drop off your car for service. K & A Auto Repairs deserves a 10, but Google only allows a top rating of 5.

My Mechanic for life! great guy, no garbage, tells you what needs to be done honestly and fixes it right the first time! Took my 745i to 3 different places plus the dealer. Well the dealer was just trying to get me into another car. The other 3 either had NO clue or didnt even want to get involved with it. I dropped my car off wend and got it back friday. In and out got the job done right and earned a customer for life. Thank you for taking the time.

Best place to fix your car

This is my autoshop. The owner is honest, hard working and a master in his trade. Been going to them for 14 years.

I called the place. Didnt really like my impression of Jerry. I called asking about one thing and suddenly he is bring up a whole list of other things he need to check before he can do a simple replacement. Sounds like a typical mechanic trying to find something wrong with the car in order to get people to spend more money. Cross this one off my list.

I went here to avoid the Stealership and he was no different!! I must say he is knowledgeable and will fix the issue you have but at the same time he will break something else to make sure you return!! My mother needed a simple coil and spark plug replacement which he fixed and slightly over charged for. However not even 24hrs after having the car back a coolant hose came apart and began spraying coolant all over my mother’s engine. He fixed that issue and then a Week later ANOTHER coolant hose just flew apart as if they were loosened smh mind you my mother car had no engine light or any major issues prior. Now we may have to trade her car in because he put sealant in the radiator for NO REASON and he knows sealant will mess up the radiator so we can return again. If you don’t want to keep dishing out money, don’t come here!

I needed an oil change, inspection, and my check engine light had just come on, so i took it here because it had decent reviews. REGRET REGRET REGRET. Im used to mechanics being communicative about what theyve done, what theyve found out, and what they need to do. 8 hours after dropping my car off on day one, I still hadnt heard from them, so I called because they would be closing soon. The guy told me to be patient (ha!) because he had to take it for a drive and the roads were snowy. I thought that was fair and asked when i should check back. He tells me to call at noon the next day. Uhhh. Okay. Noon rolls around and i call. Several times. Phone keeps ringing. Its 1 oclock and i finally get ahold of the guy. He tells me the SAME thing he had told me 20 hours prior (I just have to take it for a drive), but the roads have been clear all day. Why havent you driven it yet if thats all that needs to be done? He says hell call me. It gets to be 5 pm and i still havent heard from him and they close at 6. I walk there so he cant avoid me, and he tries to bullshit me. I told him how frustrated it was for my mechanic to keep me in the dark for 2 entire days. Bullshit bullshit bullshit. I end up just taking my car because its clear to me that my business is no type of priority and i dont trust him not to con me into work that i dont really need. Paid for the oil change, but who know if he even actually did that. Not to mention the fact that while i was sitting there, the phone was ringing like crazy with other frustrated people and then the mechanic was rudely complaining that people were upset. Youre the common deniminator here, my guy. Ill take my car somewhere else to get the work done that took K&A 2 days of my time to not do.

Best auto repair experience I have ever had. I went to K&A after I found it online-google. I stopped in simply to make an appointment, and Jerry took the car for a test drive and identified the problem right then and there. He asked if I could leave the car that day and he would fix it the next. WHICH HE DID!! It was cost effective, and timely. Seriously, I never write reviews for anything but this was OUTSTANDING. They didnt try and sell me extra garbage like they do everywhere else. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Dont go anywhere else. My repair would have cost double at a stealership. I can promise I will not take my VW Golf to any other garage in Buffalo.

K&A has always done amazing jobs and isnt in it for the money. This is actually his passion! Hes not only a nice, funny guy but hes trustworthy and honest. We would get our 2004 VW Jetta serviced by him and now weve gotten a new car. A 2011 VW Jetta and we will continue to bring our car here.
